"The Press is an enemy of the American people"; Muslims have infiltrated US government; Medicare raises not confirmed; Incomes falling during "Obama recovery"; When can we sue media for lies?; Warnings of U.S. dictatorship given by former Supreme Court Justice; We need Death Panels after all; ACLU sues MI over "Are you an American citizen" question on ballots; Firing teachers almost impossible; Governor Snyder could stop forced unionization of home care workers; 99.6% of Michigan school districts rated effective? Really?

I'm about to croak, just like this bullfrog
In recent remarks to an AIM conference, "ObamaNation: A Day of Truth," former Democratic pollster and analyst Pat Caddell said, "I think we're at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy." Caddell noted that while First Amendment protections were originally provided to the press so they would protect the liberty and freedom of the public from "organized governmental power," they had clearly relinquished the role of impartial news providers.
Nowhere was this more evident than during the tragic death of a U.S. ambassador in Libya that was lied about for nine days, because the press and the administration did not want to admit it was a terrorist attack.
"We've had nine days of lies over what happened because they can't dare say it's a terrorist attack, and the press won't push this," said Caddell. "Yesterday there was not a single piece in The New York Times over the question of Libya. Twenty American embassies, yesterday, are under attack. None of that is on the national news. None of it is being pressed in the papers."
Caddell added that it is one thing for the news to have a biased view, but "It is another thing to specifically decide that you will not tell the American people information they have a right to know."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- U.S. Army Lieutenant General (Ret.) William "Jerry" Boykin, in a recent World Net Daily radio interview, confirmed that people with high security clearances connected to the Muslim Brotherhood hold important positions in every major federal agency including the Pentagon and the Department of Defense. The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical Islamist organization that has vowed the destruction of America from within.

General Boykin has the credentials to back up his conclusions.  He was one of the original members of the U.S. Army's Delta Force which he ultimately led in combat operations.  He also served a tour in the CIA during which time he participated in clandestine operations throughout the world.   He served his last four years in the Army as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.
During the Spring of 2012 one official looking version of this eRumor said that premiums would be hiked up to $247 in 2014.  The warning appeared to have come from a representative of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.   According to an April 5, 2012 article in the Boston Globe, the insurance representative received this viral email and forwarded it from her work computer which pasted her company information at the bottom of the email, thus lending some credibility to the Internet Hoax.   Click for story.

Americans’ Incomes Have Fallen $3,040 During the Obama ‘Recovery’

BUSTED: MSNBC Doctored Clip From Romney/Ryan Rally [they need to be sued for presenting the direct opposite of the truth.  The words of the crowds' chants were changed, and then the media people act so disgusted at what happened, as they successfully degraded Mitt Romney in the process.  Remember the words (above) of Pat Caddell.]

Former Supreme Court Justice David Souter told University of New Hampshire School of Law that the “pervasive civic ignorance” in the U.S. could bring dictatorship:
I don’t worry about our losing a republican government in the United States because I’m afraid of a foreign invasion. I don’t worry about it because of a coup by the military, as has happened in some other places. What I worry about is that when problems are not addressed people will not know who is responsible, and when the problems get bad enough — as they might do for example with another serious terrorist attack, as they might do with another financial meltdown — some one person will come forward and say:  ‘Give me total power and I will solve this problem.’
We need death panels. Steve Rattner, a counselor to the Treasury secretary in the Obama administration writes:  Well, maybe not death panels, exactly, but unless we start allocating health care resources more prudently — rationing, by its proper name — the exploding cost of Medicare will swamp the federal budget.
But in the pantheon of toxic issues — the famous “third rails” of American politics — none stands taller than overtly acknowledging that elderly Americans are not entitled to every conceivable medical procedure or pharmaceutical.
Most notably, President Obama’s estimable Affordable Care Act regrettably includes severe restrictions on any reduction in Medicare services or increase in fees to beneficiaries. In 2009, Sarah Palin’s rant about death panels even forced elimination from the bill of a provision to offer end-of-life consultations.
Only citizens of the United States can legally vote in federal elections.  So Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson added a yes/no question on ballot applications that asks: "Are you a United States citizen?"
According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan, this simple requirement is "an election day disaster in the making."  So the ACLU did what it usually does, which is to sue.
Teachers in possession or under the influence of illegal drugs could be caught three times before they lost their job, and they got five strikes if they were drunk on school grounds before being fired. A school district official said the language in the union contract that protects teachers for those instances "was incorporated into the teacher Master Agreement in 1997."
Those protections also were included in the Bay City Education Association teacher’s contract that was agreed to in January in section 16.1300 "Controlled Substances" on page 92. That contract expired June 30 and negotiations on a new contract are ongoing.
Time is running out for Gov. Rick Snyder to replace before Election Day the union-stacked Michigan Quality Community Care Council board.
Replacing the board that oversees the Michigan Quality Community Care Council (MQC3), the dummy employer created as part of a scheme by the Service Employees International Union to help unionize about 44,000 home-based caregivers in Michigan, could give the governor a measure of control over the situation if Proposal 4 were to pass in November.
A new report from The Education Trust-Midwest finds that 99.6 percent of teachers from 10 of Michigan’s largest school districts were rated “effective.” Coincidentally, 98 percent of the principals responsible for these evaluations received the same rating.
In related news, recently found that 68 percent of all grades handed out at the colleges where these teachers and principals are trained were A’s. Like the mythical Lake Wobegon, where all the children are above average, apparently so are Michigan public school teachers and principals.  [This is nothing short of laughable.  As I wrote in a column on education, we have learned that only 37% of Michigan students are proficient in math. Only 15.6% of students in Pellston, and 8.7% of those in Alanson, are proficient - just for example.]

Obama Administration Knew Libya Attack Was Terrorism
Sources confirm to Fox News that the Obama administration knew from Day One that the deadly

attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was an
 act of terror.
White House officials, including President Obama,
have held to the explanation that  the attack was a 'spontaneous action.'

Senate Democrats joined Republicans Thursday in questioning the Obama administration's handling
of the fatal Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya and why the administration refused for days
to acknowledge that it was a terrorist attack linked to al Qaeda.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chaired by Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., circulated a
bipartisan letter addressed to Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides, asking for an "accounting of
the attacks against U.S. missions in Egypt, Libya and Yemen," according to a copy obtained by The Washington Examiner.
The behavior of Obama and Secretary of State Clinton over the past 14 days is a scandal of the highest order. Lies, cover ups, and neglect for security of American intelligence and personnel that borders on criminal.
I've been skeptical that the same media, that early on conspired in this cover up by intentionally pouring all of
its focus and fire on Mitt Romney's criticism of the Cairo Embassy apology, would go near this before the
election. But the sins are so great and glaring, it doesn't look as though ignoring it will be possible for another
The lawmakers are also demanding to know whether the administration had any advance warnings of
the Libyan attack and, if so, whether it had shared that information with U.S. personnel on the
More than two weeks after four Americans -- including the U.S. ambassador to Libya -- were killed in an
attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, FBI agents have not yet been granted access to investigate in the
eastern Libyan city, and the crime scene has not been secured, sources said.
"They've gotten as far as Tripoli now, but they've never gotten to Benghazi," CNN National Security Analyst
Fran Townsend said Wednesday, citing senior law enforcement officials.
Last Thursday, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters that an FBI team had reached Libya
 earlier in the week.

President Barack Obama told a campaign crowd in Ohio Wednesday he would be tougher than his Republican opponent Mitt Romney when it comes to trade with China.
“He’s been talking tough on China, he says he’s going to take the fight to them, he’s going to go after these cheaters,” said Obama, who credits his administration for filing nine trade complaints against the Communist country.
“So when you hear this new found outrage, when you see these ads he’s running promising to get tough on China, it feels a lot like that fox saying, ‘You know, we need more secure chicken coops.’ I mean, it’s just not credible,” Obama said.
In one of those actions, the Obama administration accused China of flooding the U.S. market with heavily subsidized solar panels and in May imposed stiff tariffs up to 250 percent on the imports.
However, the action came after a federal inspector general discovered that the Obama administration broke its own stimulus program rules to purchase solar panels made in China for $200,000, which are now installed on the rooftop of a federal building in the president’s home state of Illinois.
For those of you who are on Medicare, read the following. It’s short, but important and you probably haven’t heard about it in the Mainstream News:
“The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present
Monthly Fee of $96.40, rising to:

$104.20 in 2012
$120.20 in 2013
$247.00 in 2014.”

The Commerce Department said on Thursday durable goods orders dived 13.2 percent, the largest drop since January 2009, when the economy was in the throes of a recession. Orders for July were revised down to show a 3.3 percent increase instead of the previously reported 4.1 percent gain.
Economists polled by Reuters had expected orders for durable goods -- items from toasters to aircraft that are meant to last at least three years -- to fall 5 percent.

In an essay "Why the Global Warming Skeptics are Wrong" in the New York Review of Books of Feb. 22,
2012, Yale professor William D. Nordhaus attempts to counter the arguments of a group of 16 prominent
scientists who published an essay, "No Need to Panic about Global Warming," in the Wall Street Journal on
 Jan. 27, 2012.
Two crucial points may have been overlooked in the debate:
**Evidence for anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is problematic.
**A modest warming is likely to be beneficial -- not damaging.
1. Is the planet in fact warming?  This crucial question cannot be answered honestly unless one specifies the
time interval referred to.  Clearly, the climate has warmed since the last Ice Age.  It has also warmed since about
1850, in recovering from the Little Ice Age (roughly 1400-1800 AD).  But is has not warmed since the
Medieval Warm Period of 1,000 years ago, or since the Holocene Optimum, which reached even higher
temperatures 5,000-8,000 years ago.  Nor has it warmed during the past decade.
6. Is it true that more carbon dioxide and additional warming will be beneficial?  Briefly, my answer is yes.

This video of an Obama supporter bragging about having an “Obama phone” has gone viral on the web, but where do these “free cell phones” come from?
The program is called Lifeline, established in 1984, originally created to subsidize landline phone service for low income Americans, funded by government-collected telecommunication fees, paid by consumers.
In 2008, the program was expanded to support cell phones which quickly escalated the cost of the program. In 2008 the program cost $772 million, but by 2011 it cost $1.6 billion.
A 2011 audit found that 269,000 wireless Lifeline subscribers were receiving free phones and monthly service from two or more carriers. Several websites have been created to promote “free” government cell phones, including the”The Obama Cell Phone” website at

Starting Monday, the Michigan Dept. of Human Services will require children ages 6-15 to attend school full time to keep their family eligible for cash benefits. If a child doesn't, the entire family becomes ineligible.

The policy change was prompted by Gov. Snyder, who called earlier this year for a crackdown on truancy and the cycle of crime it creates.
China is Michigan's third-largest trading partner, and we sell $2.2 billion in goods and materials to China each year. Governor Snyder wants to see that number grow.

That is why he spoke at the opening of the Michigan China Center in Shanghai. The Michigan China Center provides a physical presence for Michigan and Michigan businesses: attracting foreign direct investment, export trade development, education initiatives and tourism opportunities between Michigan and China.
One in 62,500,000,000,000,000,000. (That’s 62.5 quintillion)
Or, if one prefers, the chances are 0.0000000000000000000016 that those curious developments happened by accident.
The question at hand is whether Obama is constitutionally qualified for the office, under the Constitution’s requirement that presidents be a “natural born citizen.” Some say even if he was born in Hawaii, he wouldn’t qualify, because of his father’s foreign student status.  Many believe a “natural born citizen” is the offspring of two citizen parents.
After President Obama pledged in March to create up to 15 manufacturing centers nationwide, the first federal grant went to a place at the heart of his affections: Ohio.
When the Obama administration awarded tax credits to promote clean energy, the $125 million taken home by Ohio companies was nearly four times the average that went to other states.
And when a Cleveland dairy owner wanted to make more ricotta cheese, he won what was then the largest loan in the history of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
“One of the tastiest investments the government has ever made,’’ the president joked as he mentioned the dairy and other businesses his administration has helped in the state.
A new study released this week by researchers at Stanford and NYU has found that American drone strikes in Pakistan are killing far more civilians than advertised, taking out few high value targets, and have become the primary recruiting tool for the terrorist groups the policy is aimed at combating. The report, “Living Under Drones: Death, Injury, and Trauma to Civilians From US Drone Practices in Pakistan,” is based on “more than 130 interviews with victims, witnesses, and experts, and review of thousands of pages of documentation and media reporting” conducted over nine months.

Arizona is expanding its Move On When Ready initiative, a program in which high schools reward achievement by allowing students to graduate after two years.
Nearly two dozen district, charter and private schools joined the program this year, in addition to the dozen schools that are in their second year, according to the Center for the Future of Arizona, the organization that is overseeing the program.
Move On When Ready, passed by the Legislature in 2010, is an effort to boost education based on performance, not "seat time." Participating schools teach an intense curriculum that includes end-of-course examinations. After two years, sophomores who pass the exams can graduate with a Grand Canyon Diploma.
The students can then stay in school and take more advanced classes that prepare them for selective universities, or move on to attend community college.

France is set to ban the words "mother" and "father" from all official documents under controversial plans to legalise gay marriage.

The move, which has outraged Catholics, means only the word "parents" would be used in identical marriage ceremonies for all heterosexual and same-sex couples.
The draft law states that "marriage is a union of two people, of different or the same gender".
It says all references to "mothers and fathers" in the civil code – which enshrines French law – will be swapped for simply "parents".

FL kindergartners thru 12th grade to celebrate LGTB History Month - October

The reason why President Obama is not meeting with any foreign leaders during this week's United Nations General Assembly in New York is, as one aide to the president explained, because "If he met with one leader, he would have to meet with 10."   [Isn't meeting with heads of states of foreign countries NOT above the President's pay grade (as he once said questions on abortion were?)  For certain he is leery of saying something stupid which will affect his reelection.]
Florida Representative Allen West offers what his own statement to the United Nations "would have been:"
"The future does not belong to those who attack our Embassies and Consulates and kill our Ambassadors. The Angel of Death in the form of an American Bald Eagle will visit you and wreak havoc and destruction upon your existence."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Obama’s speeches all come in one tone – what the mainstream media calls “historic”. All those grand hopes and calls for unity can be moving, but they can also be intellectually empty. His speech to the United Nations General Assembly was a classic example. After the attacks on US embassies, this was time for a “screw you guys, I’m going home” type speech. He should’ve torn into the dictators, slammed the terrorists and explained why the US doesn’t censor its private citizens. He did all of the above, but diluted with so much else that was painfully “historic” that it sounded more like “I Want to Teach the World to Sing.”
Obama: "If we are serious about upholding these ideals, it will not be enough to put more guards in front of an Embassy; or to put out statements of regret, and wait for the outrage to pass. If we are serious about those ideals, we must speak honestly about the deeper causes of this crisis. Because we face a choice between the forces that would drive us apart, and the hopes we hold in common.
Today, we must affirm that our future will be determined by people like Chris Stevens, and not by his killers. Today, we must declare that this violence and intolerance has no place among our United Nations.
Obama: "But the attacks of the last two weeks are not simply an assault on America," said Obama. "They are also an assault on the very ideals upon which the United Nations was founded – the notion that people can resolve their differences peacefully; that diplomacy can take the place of war; and that in an interdependent world, all of us have a stake in working towards greater opportunity and security for our citizens."
Obama also made a broader case against extremism, saying, "Let us remember that Muslims have suffered the most at the hands of extremism." [He forgot to mention that it is at their OWN hands that women are stoned to death, hands of thieves are cut off, homosexuals are murdered, etc.][He also said, "The future must not belong to those who would slander Islam."  Such a trick this statement is, for Mr. President, the future already and will never belong to that movie maker, so this is a false premise.]
Dinesh D'Souza writes: In addition to providing unprecedented social mobility and opportunity, America gives a better life to the ordinary guy than does any other country. Let's be honest: Rich people live well everywhere. America's greatness is that it has extended the benefits of affluence, traditionally available to the very few, to a large segment of society. We live in a nation where "poor" people have TV sets and microwave ovens, where construction workers cheerfully spend $4 on a nonfat latte, where maids drive very nice cars, where plumbers take their families on vacation to St. Kitts.
Recently I asked an acquaintance in Bombay why he has been trying so hard to relocate to America. He replied, "I really want to move to a country where the poor people are fat."
The typical immigrant, who is used to the dilapidated infrastructure, mind-numbing inefficiency, and multilayered corruption of third-world countries, arrives in the US to discover, to his wonder and delight, that everything works: Roads are clean and paper-smooth, highway signs clear and accurate; public toilets function properly; when you pick up the telephone you get a dial tone; you can even buy things from the store and then take them back.
In most of the world, even today, identity and fate are largely handed to you. This is not to say that you have no choice, but it is choice within given parameters. In America, by contrast, you get to write the script of your own life. What to be, where to live, whom to love, whom to marry, what to believe, what religion to practice - these are all decisions that, in America, we make for ourselves. Here, we're architects of our own destiny.
"My destiny in the USA is not given to me - it is constructed by me."  Dinesh D'Souza
Two top senators on the Foreign Relations Committee don't want to wait for the State Department to do its own investigation into the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens; they want Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to show them Stevens's diplomatic cables and other correspondence now.
Found this treasure on a friend's page:

"My waitress at lunch yesterday was wearing an "I Love Obama" shirt. I asked her if she could explain Obama's wealth distribution plan to me. She said, "It means he will tax the rich and give it to the poor, like me." I said, "No it means, well...let me show you. Here is your tip. You worked for it, but I'm going to take it from you and give it to that sweet old woman over there to help pay for her lunch." I got up and walked over to the sweet lady and gave her the money and left. The waitress's jaw was still hanging when I left. How's that for sharing the wealth?!

Excerpted from BIG GOVERNMENT: Nearly three years after Judicial Watch first filed a lawsuit trying to obtain Obama White House visitor logs, we are still in court battling for their release. Last week, our attorney Jim Peterson went before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia to make our case.  [As the brilliant Obama once said, ""The only people who don't want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide."]

Speaking to Boston's 96.9 FM radio program "Jim and Margery" on Monday, Democratic Senate challenger Elizabeth Warren admitted that she is not licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. [This is the fake Indian who got into Harvard with that lie and also became a professor there.  She is running against Scott Brown for the Senate.]

According to reports from listeners, she claimed that she does not maintain a law practice. She also "said that she gave up her New Jersey  license because she could not keep up with the Continuing Education requirements," according to one listener who commented on Breitbart's Monday story, "Does Elizabeth Warren Have a Law License Problem?".
Ms. Warren's statement comes as a surprise to the many clients she's provided legal services to over the past decade, including the law firm of Simpson, Thacher, and Bartlett, which listed her as "of counsel" in the 2009 brief they submitted to the United States Supreme Court on behalf of their client, Travelers Insurance.

Romney Eyes Hollywood Return After Successful Weekend Fundraiser

In remarks this morning to the Clinton Global Initiative, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton proposed a radical idea: a global tax on elites around the world. "One of the issues that I have been preaching about around the world is collecting taxes in an equitable manner, especially from the elites in every country," Clinton said to laughter from the audience. "You know I’m out of American politics, but – (applause) – it is a fact that around the world, the elites of every country are making money."
Clinton continued her rift on the rich. "There are rich people everywhere. And yet they do not contribute to the growth of their own countries."
The secretary of state suggested that the rich around the world do not give back to their communities. "They don’t invest in public schools, in public hospitals, in other kinds of development internally," said Clinton.

100 Days Until Taxmageddon

Sunday will mark the start of the 100-day countdown to “Taxmageddon” – the date the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect.  They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves on January 1, 2013:

Three states have joined a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
On Sept. 20, South Carolina, Michigan, and Oklahoma joined a lawsuit challenging the legality of the financial reform act. Their complaint argues that the “Orderly Liquidation Authority” granted to the Treasury Secretary under Title II of the act “violates the separation of powers.”
In a conference call with reporters on Friday, Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma’s attorney general, said legislators used the 2008 financial crisis “to concentrate power in Washington, DC.”
He argued that the bill is incompatible with the U.S. constitutional system and its framework of checks and balances.
Similar cuts are happening throughout the American wind sector, which includes hundreds of manufacturers, from multinationals that make giant windmills to smaller local manufacturers that supply specialty steel or bolts. In recent months, companies have announced almost 1,700 layoffs.
And now, on top of the business challenges, the industry is facing a big political problem in Washington: the Dec. 31 expiration of a federal tax credit that makes wind power more competitive with other sources of electricity.
Anyone looking to cut out air pollution in their town may have to look no further than their local burger joint.
A new study out of the University of California, Riverside, has found that commercial charbroilers – like the ones used in the country's fast food restaurants, are doing more harm to the air quality than an 18-wheeler.
Researchers claim that the charbroilers send a staggering quantity of particulate matter into the ecosystem, more than any truck or factory smokestack.
Excerpted from The Blaze: The Broward school district in Florida has endorsed what is being called a “groundbreaking” resolution encouraging K-12 students to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History Month this October, the Sun Sentinel reports.
Begun in 1994 by a Missouri high school teacher, according to the Miami Herald, LGBT History Month has been recognized by a wide variety of adult politicians and public figures for years. However it is not often celebrated in classrooms with young children, possibly because the topic is intrinsically sexual.
The Miami Herald continues:
“Administrators, teachers, staff, parents and students are encouraged to take part in LGBT History Month in any way that is most positive and uplifting to their schools and communities,” the [resolution] states. “And to coordinate efforts to highlight exemplary role models from the LGBT community.”

Hey, Obama Lovers, now that our Ambassador is dead, our Benghazi consulate is a smoldering ruin, and its top secret documents have been snatched by Al Qaeda, do you still think your hero's Libyan war is a smashing success?
Because I sure do. Not from America's point of view, of course; it's a nightmare for our national security.
But from the perspective of Obama's biggest donor, the convicted felon and renowned Israel-hater George Soros, the Libyan War is a triumph.  Why? Because Obama waged it illegally and without the consent of Congress. And he did it in the name of the political philosophy that Soros bought and paid for: Responsibility to Protect, or, as it's so zippily dubbed by our global elites, R2P.
In late March 2008, on a local New York City show called “Inside City Hall,” the venerable African-American entrepreneur and politico, Percy Sutton, told host Dominic Carter how he was asked to help smooth Barack Obama’s admission into Harvard Law School 20 years earlier.
The octogenarian Sutton calmly and lucidly explained that he had been “introduced to [Obama] by a friend.” The friend’s name was Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, and the introduction had taken place about 20 years prior.
Sutton described al-Mansour as “the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men.” The billionaire in question was Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
Given the game-changing nature of this revelation when it surfaced in late August 2008, the Obama camp and its allies in the media, particularly Politico and Media Matters, shifted into overdrive to kill the story. Through a series of denials, lies and slanders about Sutton’s mental health, they succeeded.
[The following situation was used by me when I told the regional Census Bureau official at my door that I refuse to comply by filling out my American Communities Survey.] When you hear a number like "94 million" in the news, it's usually because somebody won the lottery. This time around, no such luck. This 94 million is the number of Americans' files in which personal information has been exposed, since 2009, to potential identity theft through data breaches at government agencies. Go ahead, count the zeroes: 94,000,000. That's like releasing the personal data of every man, woman and child in California, Texas, New York, and Ohio.

Two years ago, when President Obama visited the LG Chem battery plant in Holland, it was hailed as part of the transformation of Michigan to a “green economy.”
The battery plant, which supplies batteries for the Chevy Volt, got $151 million from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Today, $133 million of that $151 million has been spent, but since April, the company's 200 workers have been on "rolling furloughs" because the electric vehicle market has failed to blossom as promised by many.

Republican poll analysis: Romney winning with middle-class families [by 14%].

Among the more than two dozen American personnel evacuated from the city [Benghazi] after the assault on the American mission and a nearby annex were about a dozen C.I.A. operatives and contractors, who played a crucial role in conducting surveillance and collecting information on an array of armed militant groups in and around the city.
“It’s a catastrophic intelligence loss,” said one American official who has served in Libya and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the F.B.I. is still investigating the attack. “We got our eyes poked out.” [Obama's foreign policy failure?  What foreign policy failure?  Do you know that about 75% of American deaths and nearly 2/3 of our money spent on the Afghanistan war have occurred in the last 4 years?  But don't forget - OBAMA killed Osama, as he has bragged.]
The soldiers who wake up in Walter Reed Medical Center are in Maryland not communist China but under the Navy's new rules they may not know the difference. After months of peeling away the military's core values, Obama's army is on the move and this time it has a high value target: the Bible.

In a memo obtained by FRC, Navy officials have announced that "no religious items (including Bibles, reading material, and or artifacts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit." The new orders are buried in a four page document about patient care which an Army officer forwarded to us in disbelief. Effective immediately families, friends, and even pastors will have to check their beliefs at the door to visit one of the largest military hospitals in the United States.

After the memo was circulated to leaders on the Hill, an outraged Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) took to the House floor and blasted the policy. "Mr. Speaker, these military men and women who are recovering at Walter Reed and Bethesda have given their all for America! They've defended and taken an oath to the Constitution and now the people who come to visit them can't bring a religious artifact? They can't bring a Bible? ... A priest can't walk in with the Eucharist and offer communion to a patient who might be on their deathbed because it's prohibited in this memo from the Department of the Navy?"-
A responder to this said: Read and answered the question. The links are all valid and focus on the
Director of the Hospital as the source of the Memo. Liberals claim it has
been rescinded, which it was almost "immediately", but claim that it
was proposed with no review through the White House.
President Barack Obama has quietly cancelled a politically risky plan to meet this week with Egypt’s new Islamist president.
The plan was cancelled amid a wave of riots and attacks in Arab countries that have damaged Obama’s campaign-trail claim to foreign policy competence.  [He is, however, still going to be on The View.]
A report today in an official outlet of the Iranian regime claims that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, will meet with members of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Ahmadinejad is currently in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly, where these reported meetings will take place.
"Ahmadinejad is also set to meet American university students, artists, intellectuals and elites, including Occupy Wall Street anti-capitalist protestors, despite the ongoing efforts made by the pro-Zionist lobbies to prevent direct link between American people and the Iranian president," the Iranian organ Fars News reports.
Earlier this year American professors gathered in Tehran to discuss the supposed virtues of the Occupy Wall Street movement.
In New York, the Iranian president has several interviews lined up. "President Ahmadinejad has also accepted the interview requests made by several news networks, including CNN, CBS and Russia Today (RT)," Fars reports.  [Occupy has decided not to meet with him.]
President Barack Obama is trying hard to win veterans, but it looks like they’d prefer a new commander in chief.
But recent polls make clear that the president’s campaign is losing the battle. Even as Obama leads in Colorado, Florida, Ohio and Virginia, Mitt Romney is up by double digits among veterans in those states. Nationwide, he’s got a commanding 20-percentage-point lead over Obama and has even overtaken the president with younger veterans.
President Barack Obama on Monday sought to woo women voters at a taping of the daytime talk show "The View," by flirting with his wife and bearing gifts for the hosts, but he could not escape tough questions on the economy that have dominated the election.
When host and veteran journalist Barbara Walters kidded Michelle Obama about bringing the president as her "date," Obama quipped [never to be humble, always to be arrogant], "I've been told I'm just eye candy here."

Media Put 18,000 in Not-Quite-Full 5,000-Seat Arena for Obama in Wisconsin

The pavilion was not "filled"--a local reporter for filmed empty seats in the bleachers at the side of the arena (see above). Nevertheless, the Journal-Sentinal played it safe, putting attendance at roughly 5,000-plus, a small but respectable turnout.
That's not how national media covered it. Darren Samuelsohn of Politico reported that the president addressed "a crowd the Obama campaign estimated at 18,000 in a city park overlooking Lake Michigan" in an attempt to "lock up" Wisconsin.
Laura Meckler of the Wall Street Journal--whose news section, according to UCLA professor Tim Groseclose, is the most liberal of any major mainstream outlet--repeated the campaign's 18,000 claim without even revealing the source of the official-sounding estimate.
Both outlets described the location of the rally as a "park," without revealing the name of the arena itself, which would have given the game away.
Another aspect of transparency was the Constitution's requirement that Congress pass a budget every year. The Democratically controlled Senate during the Obama administration has not passed a budget for three consecutive years.
Passing a budget makes the administration tell the public what it will pay for, what it will have to cut to reduce the deficit -- and how big the deficit will be if they don't cut anything. By not even passing a budget, Obama 2 and his party are in effect saying to the public, "It is none of your business." Transparency?
In his oath of office, Barack Obama swore to see that the laws are faithfully executed, as all Presidents do. But that was Obama 1. Once in the White House, Obama 2 proceeded to explicitly waive the enforcement of laws he didn't agree with.

Even MSM Beginning to Notice Obama’s Middle East Failures

The press has been kind to the Obama administration during its travails in the Middle East, kinder than it might have been if the president were a Republican. That may finally be changing—and it only took a fiasco of epic proportions to do it.
The smiling, self-assured Barack Obama who appeared on the Letterman show last Tuesday night plainly did not see anything to be alarmed about in what is happening in the Middle East, or anywhere else for that matter -- with the possible exception on the ongoing "war on women" (meaning the American version thereof, not the Muslim or Middle Eastern variant, which includes stoning, virtual enslavement, and other real-world atrocities).
Exactly one week after the Sept. 11th storming of the American embassy in Cairo and the terrorist assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Obama did not appear to have a care in the world. Following the show he headed off for a fundraiser with Jay Z. and Beyoncé.

These photos are from my trip to Kenya two months before the presidential election of 2007 which was contested by Raila Odinga [alleged cousin of Barack Obama], leading to many deaths.  The poverty was unbelievable, something which America's poor cannot envision.  I remain grateful to have made it back to the USA.

Obama Campaign Quietly Ditches Faux Flag [not because he was called out for his arrogance and disrespect to the flag of the United States of America.]

The Obama campaign produced a poster of an American flag, with Obama’s “O” symbol replacing the field of stars, as an item of campaign merchandise, selling for $35. The image was tasteless at best. It is hard to imagine any other politician arrogant enough to remake the flag in his own image: Barack Obama, however, has never been one to be deterred by bad taste. The larger problem was that, as many pointed out, the flag bore an uncanny resemblance to this grisly photograph taken at the American consulate in Benghazi:
Fox News has obtained a three-page intelligence report showing that two days before the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, a statement incited "sons of Egypt" to pressure America to release the so-called blind sheikh "even if it requires burning the embassy down with everyone in it."
The web statement, apparently posted on Sept. 9, was in reference to the embassy in Egypt. It preceded a throng of demonstrators breaching the U.S. Embassy wall in Cairo, supposedly in protest over an anti-Islam film. Obama administration officials claim that attackers in Libya then took their cue from Cairo and seized the opportunity to attack the consulate in Benghazi.
Though the administration's version of events is still evolving, the three-page Department of Homeland Security intelligence report further highlights potential threats that were being picked up before last week's attack.
From Lucianne: Obama asks groupies to scribble words of support on their hands. Gov. Rick Perry just comments. [It seems we conservatives have been given another fun exercise to follow the "empty chair" program...]
The Obama campaign recently asked its followers to write messages on their right hands and, with their hands pressed over their hearts, pledge their allegiance to Obama by posting these pictures on Twitter or Facebook.

This week, Breitbart News offered a $100,000 reward to anyone who produced the infamous 2003 tapes of Barack Obama at an event honoring Palestinian anti-Israel radical Rashid Khalidi.

Legal Foundation Seeks End to Forced Unionization of Home-Based Caregivers — State agency asked to award $3 million back to workers that the SEIU took as dues

Please note the source of this article - The Washington Times: Mike Zullo, the lead investigator in Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s investigation of Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, says he has returned from a second trip to Hawaii with additional evidence the state’s Department of Health is maintaining a cover-up of Obama’s 1961 birth records. ...

In Honolulu, Zullo worked closely with local contacts, including Duncan Sunahara, the brother of Virginia Sunahara, an infant child born in Hawaii Aug. 4, 1961, the same day Obama was born, and died the next day.
As WND reported, Virginia Sunahara entered as a figure in the Obama birth controversy because no birth certificate for her had been located, leading to speculation her birth certificate could have been the source of Obama’s.

Scores of people were injured Saturday in a clash in Bangladesh's capital between police and hundreds of demonstrators, as protests continued in the Muslim world against a film produced in the United States that denigrates Islam's Prophet Muhammad.
In Pakistan, where more than 20 people died Friday in clashes with police in cities throughout the country, a Cabinet minister offered a $100,000 reward for the death of the filmmaker.
Today, 36 U.S. Senators released a letter promising to oppose ratification of any treaty during a lame-duck session. Heritage Action released the following statement from CEO Michael A. Needham:
“Today’s announcement ensures American sovereignty will not be eroded by last-minute negotiations involving lame-duck Senators.  We applaud the 36 Senators for promising to avoid past lame-duck mistakes and urge their colleagues to make a similar pledge.”
In 2010, the Senate ratified the dangerously-flawed New START during a lame-duck session.
On the eve of his first trip to the United States as Egypt’s new Islamist president, Mohamed Morsi said the United States needed to fundamentally change its approach to the Arab world, showing greater respect for its values and helping build a Palestinian state, if it hoped to overcome decades of pent-up anger.
Egypt's president and other Muslim leaders should demand the U.N. criminalize contempt of religion after the release of an anti-Islamic film and cartoons which demonstrate growing racism, said the leader of the biggest ultra-orthodox Islamist party.-

President Barack Obama is about to release or transfer 55 Gitmo prisoners, despite reports that the Libyan believed to be behind the killing of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a former Guantanamo inmate transferred to Libyan custody.

The large percentage of those scheduled to be released are Yemeni, according to a list made public by the Obama administration.
Obama stopped the release or transfer of Yemeni inmates in 2010, because the conditions in the country were viewed as too "unsettled" at the time. [And the conditions there are SO much better now, right?]
Romney has five basic proposals for fixing the American economy that are sensible, practical, and believable.
We are talking about a lot of wealth.  Thanks to fracking, America could be producing more oil and natural gas energy on a daily basis than current U.S. imports from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Venezuela, Colombia, Algeria, Nigeria, and Russia combined.  The United States' combined recoverable natural gas, oil, and coal endowment is the largest on Earth
The impact of cheap energy boosts jobs in expanding circles.  Men with high school diplomas pull down $100,000 salaries in the oil and gas fields.  Next circle out: cheap natural gas has revived our steel industry, making American steel production globally competitive again.  Same for plastics and the chemical industry.  Healthy industries mean healthy towns, money for taxes, a sustainable social safety net.  A healthy country.
Excellent working-class jobs, cheap gas, lower consumer prices so the money in your paycheck goes much farther.  Using our energy resources is a huge win for every family and entirely, easily doable.
Energy alone is a reason to vote Republican.  Our economy will not survive if starved of affordable energy.
The Daily Caller has obtained a complete audio recording of the October 19, 1998 Loyola College forum on community organizing and policymaking during which a future President Barack Obama said he favored the government redistribution of wealth. The audio demonstrates the context of that remark and reveals other far-left positions that Obama held as a state senator.
Those positions encompass issues as wide-ranging as gun control, universal health care and welfare reform. Obama also said he viewed welfare recipients and “the working poor” as “a majority coalition” that could be mobilized to help advance progressive policies and elect their champions. [Don't count on the main stream media to cover these comments.  They WILL continue to quote Romney out of context, however.]
Tonight, CBS aired a 60 Minutes interview with President Obama. But curiously enough, the news magazine show did not air a clip of Obama admitting to interviewer Steve Kroft that some of his campaign ads contain mistakes and that some even "go overboard."-
"Look, the fact-checkers have had problems with the ads on both sides," Kroft says to Obama in the unaired clip, "and say they've been misleading and in some cases just not true. Does that disturb you? I mean, some of them are your ads."
Obama responds: "Do we see sometimes us going overboard in our campaign, are there mistakes that are made, areas where there is no doubt somebody could dispute how we are presenting things? You know, that happens in politics."
Kroft responds: "Aren't the Americans entitled to the truth? Or a better version of it?"  [And then Kroft hides the truth from us by not airing this segment.  That sounds about right.]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- President Barack Obama likened Israeli pressure on him to draw a line in the sand over Iran's nuclear ambitions as noise he tries to ignore, according to remarks aired Sunday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently urged the United States to establish what he called a "red line" regarding Tehran's nuclear program beyond which the United States would be compelled to act.
