The column the Boyne City Gazette would not print, ending my 1 1/2 years of columns in their paper; "If I wanted America to fail"; Obama's worldwide apology tour

Since the Boyne City Gazette, during this momentous time in our country's history, has decided to only carry  stories with a local focus, this is the first of my columns which they would not print. I will be posting more of my columns here, however.  Please help spread the columns to friends and family.

Recently Barack Obama had the audacity (referring to his book The Audacity of Hope) to say to small business owners, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that!”  Despite cries to the contrary, listening to the full speech only makes it worse, as you can see if you Google the speech.  He was saying that it is government which made the roads, etc.  Isn’t it we the taxpayers, and the more successful ones especially, who paid the government taxes which built that infrastructure?
Barack, you did not build this great country which has stood as a beacon for freedom and opportunity for many decades.  In fact, your wife was never proud of America until you became a Presidential candidate!  Perhaps she doesn’t understand that it was Africa’s black kings who sold their own citizens into slavery. Maybe she forgets that it was American families who endured the death of 600,000 to rid our country of slavery.  Republican President Abraham Lincoln freed those slaves and Republicans passed most civil rights laws prior to 1960, including their right to vote – with few Democrats joining them.  Perhaps she cut classes when they were describing the amazing efforts of America’s military and citizens in defeating Hitler, saving the world, freeing those who were in concentration camps and then rebuilding their countries. Perhaps she is unaware of the fact that it is America which goes to the rescue of any country devastated by nature, even those of our enemies.  America has led the world in innovation and has provided its hard-working citizens the chance to rise from poverty to success.  Those are just some of the things that have always made me proud.
Obama did not personally endanger himself to write the Constitution he disdains, nor the Bill of Rights, as did our Founding Fathers.  Obama did nothing to actually earn the Peace Prize other than spout platitudes of peace and understanding.  He then proceeded to announce that he personally oversees his own “kill list” for choosing whom the military should kill each week.
Obama is not the one who developed the Affirmative Action programs which afforded him the miraculous life he has had.  He did not develop America’s can-do, work hard, seeking-excellence family traditions, but he is doing a lot to undermine them through government programs.
Here are some things Obama DID build: Obamacare, which most Americans did not want; raising our country’s debt more in his first 4 yrs. than President Bush did in 8 years; a government full of radicals, Communists and Muslims; negative job creation since his Inaugural and continuing rises in unemployment; the worst national intelligence leaks in many decades (endangering our military and our allies); speech designed to divide Americans from one another, promoting envy and hatred; unkempt promises of transparency; an unbalanced budget; plenty of new taxes; lobbyists in his Administration; and a valid challenge to Richard Nixon’s Enemy List via his website for turning in fellow citizens for perhaps speaking untruths about Obamacare.  He has made our borders porous, refuses to follow our Immigration laws and offers work permits to up to 1.5 million illegals at a time when American young people have an unemployment rate of 15%.  He has overseen an Administration which is totally against voters having to prove they are who they say they are, and that they are American citizens.
He has built an America which is uncertain about its future under his guidance, an America which is afraid to expand her businesses or hire more employees due to that uncertainty.  He has benefitted from a media who for many reasons are his campaign workers in their efforts to get him reelected.   He has built a system of cronyism wherein 80% of Stimulus funds were given to his donors and Democrats.  He has perfected a system which rewards his friends and demonizes those who disagree with his agenda and policies, with his minions claiming racism as the motivation, even though he is half white.
These are the things you have built, Mr. President, and America is all the worse because of them.  I bring to you all the often-hidden news.  Readers must take the responsibility to use it.
If I wanted America to fail: a powerful video

“If I wanted America to fail” video goes viral, but Twitter suspends group’s account; Update: Account restored

This weekend, a video produced by Free Market America went live on YouTube — and it is racking up nationwide hits. Deservedly so. The Earth Day-timed message is compelling and extremely relevant this campaign season. As the group writes: “The environmental agenda has been infected by extremism — it’s become an economic suicide pact. And we’re here to challenge it.” Watch:
The Obama campaign and notoriously liberal “fact-check” websites such as, Politifact, and the Washington Post‘s “Fact Checker” said President Obama never went on an “apology tour” and has never apologized for American actions.
However, in the first few months of the president’s term, Obama repeatedly did speak of America’s past mistakes in a series of appearances, several of which fell in foreign countries. It was also revealed in a top secret cable published in 2011 by Wikileaks that the Japanese government vetoed the idea of President Obama visiting Hiroshima in September 2009 and apologizing for the atomic bomb.
Here are five examples of Obama apologizing for America, first collected in 2009 by “Hannity,” which occurred in quick succession during Obama’s April 2009 tour of foreign countries and in two speeches in the United States shortly thereafter.

MSNBC edits out all minorities; Huckabee discusses Dems budget; Condi discusses freedom; A journey of entitlements; Ann Romney describes her Mitt; Obama's empty promise; Obama's electronic pen signed letters to Seal families; Obama quote; Obama donations; Popping a blister; Karl Marx's last stand; Mitt connects; Mitt gains 6 points; Get used to saying President Romney; Grandma off cliff ad; DHS harrasses Ron Paul

If you were watching MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night, you might believe those assertions, since missing from the coverage was nearly every ethnic minority that spoke during Tuesday’s festivities.

In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mike Mike Huckabee: I care far less as to where Mitt Romney takes his family to church than I do about where he takes this country. Joe Biden said, "Show me your budget, and I'll tell you what you value." Well, in the Senate, Joe's party hasn't produced a budget in three years.
What does that say about their values?
Speaking of budgets, Joe Biden's budget shows that while he wants to be generous with your money through higher taxes and government spending, for years he gave less than two-tenths of 1 percent of his money to charity.
He just wants you to give the government more so he and the Democrats can feel better about themselves. Mitt Romney has given over 16% of his income to his church and charity, and I'd feel better about having a leader who gives more of his own money instead of mine.
Condoleeza Rice: Everyone asks, where does America stand?
Indeed -- indeed, that is the question of the hour.  Where
does America stand?  You see when the friends or foes alike
don't know the answer to that question, unambiguously and
clearly, the world is likely to be a more dangerous and chaotic
Since world war II, the United States has had an answer to
that question.  We stand for free peoples and free markets.  We
will defend and support them.
We will sustain a balance of power that favors freedom.

My fellow Americans, we do not have a choice.  We cannot be
reluctant to lead and you cannot lead from behind.
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan understand this reality.  Our
well- being at home and our leadership abroad are inextricably
linked.  They know what to do.  They know that our friends and
allies must again be able to trust us.  From Israel to Columbia,
from Poland to the Philippines, our allies and friends have to
know that we will be reliable and consistent and determined.
And our foes can have no reason to doubt our resolve because
peace really does come through strength.
Paul Ryan: None of us -- none of us have to settle for the best this
administration offers, a dull, adventureless journey from one
entitlement to the next, a government-planned life, a country
where everything is free but us.
Listen to the way we're already spoken to -- listen to the
way we are spoken to already, as if everyone is stuck in some
class or station in life, victims of circumstances beyond our
control, with government there to help us cope with our fate.
It's the exact opposite of everything I learned
growing up in Wisconsin, or at college in Ohio.
Now when I was waiting tables, washing dishes, or mowing
lawns for money, I never thought of myself as stuck in some
station in life. I was on my own path, my own journey, an
American journey, where I could think for myself, decide for
myself, define happen as for myself.  That is what we do in this
That's freedom and I will take it any day over the
supervision and sanctimony of the central planners.

Ann Romney: Today that company [Bain Capital - which Romney built] has become another great American success story.

Has it made those who started the company successful beyond their dreams?
Yes, it has.

It allowed us to give our sons the chance at good educations and made all those long hours of book reports and homework worth every minute. It's given us the deep satisfaction of being able to help others in ways that we could never have imagined. Mitt doesn't like to talk about how he has helped others because he sees it as a privilege, not a political talking point. And we're no different than the millions of Americans who quietly help their neighbors, their churches and their communities. They don't do it so that others will think more of them.

They do it because there IS no greater joy.

"Give and it shall be given unto you."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Ryan: President Barack Obama, came to office during an economic
crisis, as he has reminded us a time or two.  Those are very
tough days.  And any fair measure of his record has to take that
into account.  My own state voted for President Obama.  When he
talked about change, many people liked the sound of it.
Especially in Janesville where we were about to lose a major
factory.  A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at
that G.M. plant.  Right there at that plant, candidate Obama
said, ``I believe that if our government is there to support you,
this plant will be here for another 100 years.''
That's what he said in 2008.  Well, as it turned out, that
plant didn't last another year.  It is locked up and empty to
this day.

Sickening: Obama Didn’t Even Personally Sign Form Letters To Fallen SEALs

Outside of the Republican National Convention this week, Karen and Billy Vaughn spoke at the Defending the Defenders forum sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots. The Vaughn’s son, Aaron Carson Vaughn, was one of 30 – including 17 elite Navy SEALs – that were killed in a helicopter crash last August in Afghanistan, marking the “deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan.”
As pointed out by the Gateway Pundit, The Vaughns brought the letter they received from “Barack Obama” – a form letter.
It was signed by an electric pen.
That’s not all. Karen Vaughn reached out to the parents of the other SEALs killed in that crash.Their letters were all the same. Form letters – signed by an electric pen.”
"But I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking." — Barack Obama.
This video is a follow-up to Adrian Murray’s facebook post over the weekend, in which he says that he donated to the Obama campaign as “Adolph Hitler,” occupation “Dictator” living at a German address. As you can see in the clip, citizen journalist George Scaggs of Austin tries the same thing at three different campaign sites, that of Obama, Romney and Santorum. Only the Obama site accepted the donation without the verification number.
Let’s take a look at the three campaign websites mentioned in the video. Here’s Obama’s donation page. All of the following graphics can be enlarged by clicking on them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ President Barack Obama says his re-election might help end the political stalemate in Washington, much like “popping a blister.”
In an interview with Time magazine, Obama says he expects Republicans in Congress to work more cooperatively in a second term, since his re-election would no longer be a factor.
The world is dynamic rather than static, so constantly thinking ahead is the key to understanding. Recognize now that on the morning after the election, whatever the result, America will never be the same. The results themselves will have wrought basic, fundamental change for the body politic. That inevitability underlines and highlights what you should be doing now to influence those results.
Karl Marx's Last Stand The wildly overconfident Left is least attuned to what is at stake for them. If Barack Obama is routed this fall as he should be, it will be worse for the left-wing neo-Marxist views he represents than if he had never been elected at all. For then the voters will have seen what he is offering and rejected it.
Mitt Romney’s convention speech may have redefined both the man and the candidate. It was like a reverse Invasion of the Body Snatchers: Mitt went to bed a pod person and woke up a human being. The speech was warm, humble and hit Obama hard. Most importantly, it sold Mitt as Mitt really was all along but struggled to show it – a technocratic, pro-growth business nationalist. This is the Romney that won Democratic-leaning Massachusetts in 2002 – a moderate conservative who can appeal to women, independents and perhaps even minorities. It’s a Romney that now stands a much better chance of winning the White House in 2012.
Mitt Romney has swung 6 points in three days in the Reuters/Ipsos daily tracking poll as he prepares to give his big speech accepting the Republican nomination for president, now leading President Obama 44 to 42 percent in the poll among likely voters.

White House in panic – 'People should start to practice the words'

Video of the day - a response to the throwing Grandma off the cliff ad:
You remember when the Department of Homeland Security said if you have a Ron Paul bumper sticker, you might be a domestic terrorist?
Might explain why Ron Paul’s family and aides were detained by the TSA in Clearwater, Florida by the TSA.  They said they were a threat to Mitt Romney:
According to Lew Rockwell, Paul’s former chief of staff, agents first questioned the pilot’s credentials, then insisted the passengers and plane be searched for explosives. TSA agents did not cite any specific threat, but insinuated the Paul family was a threat to Mitt Romney, claiming the nominee “might be nearby.”
The pilot reminded agents the plane itself, filled with fuel, was a bomb. Agents persisted with demands that the passengers be thoroughly examined, but Carol, Paul’s 76-year-old wife, has a pacemaker. She refused to submit to a search while an aide began recording the event. Eventually, the agents relented.
Private aircraft are not subjected to the same rigorous security screenings of commercial aircraft, leading some to believe Paul’s family was targeted by the agency.
How many terrorist attacks have the TSA prevented?

Obama and International Tribunals; A suspended election predicted by some; Condi speaks; Ryan electrifies delegates; Erskine Bowles evaluates Ryan and Obama; Obama and fairness; Republican states in better condition; Obama's mandated fuel effeciency standards; Israel's possible EMT strike; GOP happy to have party when black people drown; Jindal waiting for Feds; A visit with your pediatrician ;

*Under the agreement currently being advocated by the Obama administration, American corporations would continue to be subject to domestic laws and regulations on the environment, banking and other issues. But foreign corporations operating within the U.S. would be permitted to appeal key American legal or regulatory rulings to an international tribunal. That international tribunal would be granted the power to overrule American law and impose trade sanctions on the United States for failing to abide by its rulings.
The terms run contrary to campaign promises issued by Obama and the Democratic Party during the 2008 campaign.
The fear of Obama suspending elections came long before the presidential election campaign officially began.  It was almost one year ago when North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue made suspended elections an idea whose time has come.
“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” Gov. Perdue, a Democrat said, according to a report by the Raleigh News & Observer.  “You want people who don’t worry about the next election.” (Fox News, Sept. 27, 2011).
The trial balloon for Obama’s suspension of elections had been sent up overnight.
And I know too that there is weariness – a sense that we have carried these burdens long enough. But if we are not inspired to lead again, one of two things will happen – no one will lead and that will foster chaos --- or others who do not share our values will fill the vacuum. My fellow Americans, we do not have a choice. We cannot be reluctant to lead – and one cannot lead from behind.
But the American ideal is indeed endangered today. There is no country, no not even a rising China, that can do more harm to us than we can do to ourselves if we fail to accomplish the tasks before us here at home.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Wednesday night electrified the Republican Party with a speech that combined lacerating attacks on President Obama with homespun values and a tribute to GOP candidate Mitt Romney.
In a 35-minute address that drew thunderous applause from Republican delegates, Ryan condemned the Obama presidency and presented an optimistic vision of the future under Romney’s leadership.
The core theme of the speech amounted to four words: "We can do this."
Here’s what Erskine Bowles, President Clinton’s former chief of staff and the leader of President Obama’s deficit commission, had to say about Paul Ryan in September of 2011:
I’m telling you, this guy is amazing. I always thought I was okay with arithmetic. This guy can run circles around me. He is honest, he is straightforward, he is sincere. And the budget he came forward with is just like Paul Ryan. It is a sensible, straightforward, honest, serious budget and it cut the budget deficit just like we did by four trillion dollars.
By contrast, here is what Bowles said about Obama’s budget:
The president came out with his own plan. And the president, as you remember, came out with a budget. And I don’t think anybody took that budget very seriously. The Senate voted against it 97 to nothing.
Let's return to the 2008 Democratic primary debates when then-Senator Obama was asked about raising taxes on capital gains. ABC's Charlie Gibson asked Obama:
Gibson: And in each instance, when the [capital gains tax] rate dropped, revenues from the tax increased; the government took in more money. And in the 1980s, when the tax was increased to 28 percent, the revenues went down. So why raise it at all, especially given the fact that 100 million people in this country own stock and would be affected?
Obama: Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness.
In spite of the fact -- say again the hard fact -- that lowering capital gains taxes brought in more revenue, what was driving Obama was "fairness."
"In states with Republican governors, the average unemployment rate is a full point lower than in states with Democratic governors. Republican governors lead seven of the 10 states with the lowest unemployment rates, and 12 of the 15 states ranked best for business."
The reason liberals won't challenge this statement, made by Virginia's Gov. Bob McDonnell, is because it's indisputably true. The average unemployment rate for states with Republican governors, according to Department of Labor data, is 7.6 percent. The average for states with Democratic governors? 8.8 percent.
Yes, the same cast of fable-tellers who falsely accused GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney of murdering a steelworker’s cancer-stricken wife is now directly imposing a draconian environmental regulation that will cost untold American lives.
On Tuesday, the administration announced that it had finalized “historic” new fuel-efficiency standards. President Obama took a break from his historic fund-raising drives to proclaim that by “the middle of the next decade, our cars will get nearly 55 miles per gallon, almost double what they get today. It’ll strengthen our nation’s energy security, it’s good for middle-class families and it will help create an economy built to last.”
The Obama administration touts the support of the government-bailed-out auto industry for these reckless, expensive regs. What they want you to forget is that the “negotiations” (read: bullying) with White House environmental radicals date back to former Obama green czar Carol Browner’s tenure — when she told auto execs “to put nothing in writing, ever” regarding their secret fuel-economy talks.

U.S. intelligence agencies recently reported growing concerns that Israel will conduct a strike on Iran using a high-altitude nuclear burst aimed at disrupting all electronics in the country.
During live coverage of the Republican National Convention here in Tampa, an ABC News employee provided the perfect example of the pervasive anti-Republican bias Mitt Romney faces in his bid to unseat President Barack Obama.
In video broadcast Monday night by ABC over the internet, a person can be heard claiming that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann are unconcerned about the fate of residents of the New Orleans area who are currently being hit by Hurricane Isaac.
“They aren’t concerned at all,” the person says on tape. “They are happy to have a party when black people drown.”  [Later in the day, the man was fired.  He was Yahoo! News chief and has been highly awarded]Read more:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------    Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal sent this tweet this afternoon:
We are still pushing the federal government to declare a full declaration.
Your Pediatrician and Your Parental Rights - [a warning]
By now, the experience can only be called “commonplace.” You take your child to the doctor for a rash or a sore throat, and the next thing you know your child is fielding some unrelated questions: “Is there a gun in your home? Do you usually wear a seatbelt when riding in the car? What’s your favorite music?”

If you haven’t yet heard such a dialogue between your child and the doctor, that doesn’t mean this is not occurring. “Doctors are trained in residency how to gently steer the parent out of the room so that they can do an assessment,” reports pediatrician and board member Verlainna Callentine, M.D. “The mindset is that because so many adolescents stay healthy, there are few opportunities to have a medical impact on the child once they get out of the early years of development. When a child comes in for a particular complaint, the opportunity is seized to assess other risk factors in the child's life.”

Dr. Callentine continues, “Absolutely, it can be intrusive. It is intentional. Some doctors may not want parents to know the kinds of questions being asked out of fear that the answers they will receive from the child will not be honest and truthful.”

This line of questioning is called a “psychosocial evaluation”.

RNC and Ann Romney; Lying by omission, or racism?; Democrat Artur Davis speaks; Why tax rates are low for Mitt; Two hours of Islamic prayers, but no Catholic prayer allowed; Special Ops' and Obama's bow;The hateful Ellen Barkin; Code Pink tries to arrest Condi; Teacher helps her dumb students; Discussing Khrushchev

Well, the first night of the Republican convention couldn’t possibly have gone any better for Mitt Romney. The evening showcased two speeches that represented two key aspects of the American electorate — the two aspects of the American voter to which he needs to appeal if he is to win in November.
One is the heart. The other is the spine.
Ann Romney’s spectacular performance — as impressive a convention showing as any I’ve ever seen — focused on the heart. She made a direct appeal to women with straight talk about the difficulties of everyday life they know (she said) better than men.
“It’s given us the deep satisfaction of being able to help others in ways that we could never have imagined. Mitt doesn’t like to talk about how he has helped others because he sees it as a privilege, not a political talking point. And we’re no different than the millions of Americans who quietly help their neighbors, their churches and their communities. They don’t do it so that others will think more of them. They do it because there is no greater joy.”
The blissful haze that fell over the convention when Mrs. Romney was done was instantly replaced by the blustery charge of New Jersey’s Chris Christie. It was his choice to use his keynote address to try to stiffen the national spine. Mrs. Romney said she wanted to talk about love. Christie went in the opposite direction: “Tonight,” he said, “we’re going to choose respect over love.”

[In a perfect illustration of how the mainstream media lies comes this story, this time lying by omission.  Ok - it could be instead a display of MSNBC's racism.] One of the left’s favorite attacks on the Republican Party is that it is the party of old white people, devoid of diversity and probably racist.
Having a famous – or notorious – crossover from the opposing party speak at your party’s national convention is a time-honored tradition, one that former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis of Alabama continued Tuesday night when he addressed the Republican convention in Tampa.
"The last time I spoke at a convention, it turned out I was in the wrong place,"  Davis told the delegates, an allusion to his speech at the 2008 Democratic convention in Denver.
In another reference to that convention, Davis said, "Maybe we should have known that night in Denver that things that begin with plywood Greek columns and artificial smoke typically don’t end well."
He said he and other Obama supporters in 2008 "led with our hearts and our dreams that we could be more inclusive than America had ever been, and no candidate had ever spoken so beautifully."
The left is again aghast at the tax life of Mitt Romney, working up a lather about his revelation that over the past decade his income tax rate has hovered around 13 percent.
That's brought out the well-worn denunciations of the unfairness of a tax code that permits filthy rich guys like Romney to pay proportionately less than their secretaries. [For one thing, he is following the laws which Congress has passed and a President has signed.]
There's absolutely no use trying to explain to these crusaders for justice that Romney pays 13 percent because 1.) He reduces his taxable income with millions in charitable donations, and 2.) His income derives primarily from capital gains on investments, which are taxed at a lower rate than income from a paycheck.
Investment income gets a tax break because the government wants people to invest. Investment creates jobs, spurs development, expands the economy and ultimately reaps greater tax revenues.
When George W. Bush lowered the capital gains tax to its current 15 percent rate from 20 percent, revenue from the tax soared over the next three years and helped the nation avoid the severe economic downturns that easily could have followed the 9/11 terrorist attack, the Iraq War or Hurricane Katrina.
The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with featuring Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, though Democrats earlier denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event.
Watch the promotional video via the Bureau of Muslim Affairs, which claims it is hosting the event “at the Democratic National Convention.”
The first two minutes are rather dry, but around 2:04 a muezzin sings the call to prayer with an American flag background, and the video “picks up” considerably:
The ad is sure to provoke massive consternation on the left, which has been in a frenzy ever since Special Operations for America launched. The event at which the ad launches, “Defending Our Defenders: A Salute to the United States Military,” will feature a tribute by Congressman Louie Gohmert, former members of SEAL Team Six, Army Rangers, Gold Star parents, and a few surprise guests.
Ryan Zinke, the former Navy SEAL who started the super PAC, spoke exclusively with Breitbart News today. “The ad itself accurately portrays where this President is,” said Zinke. “It accurately portrays his core belief that America should not lead. This president is shaping America to be one of the followers, to relinquish our role as a world leader. I didn’t fight 23 years as a Navy SEAL to watch America bow to anybody.”  [Do yourself a favor and watch the powerful 30 sec. video]
Ellen Barkin Hopes Hurricane Kills 'Every Pro-Life, Xenophobic, Gay-Bashing SOB' At The RNC. [So, I've seen my last Ellen Barkin movie..]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Police in Tampa stopped a dozen anti-war protesters from entering an event attended by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice after the group said it intended to arrest her for war crimes.
The protesters from Code Pink carried handcuffs Tuesday and tried to enter a performing arts center. Rice was attending an event in conjunction with the Republican National Convention. They said they wanted to make a citizen's arrest of Rice, who was Secretary of State when the Iraq War started.
A former fifth-grade teacher implicated in a cheating scandal reportedly gave students the illegal assistance because she thought they were “dumb as hell--
Many children, more than you might think, actually survive failed abortions and are born alive. I know because I’m one of them,” Ohden says in the SBA List ad. “When he was in the Illinois state Senate, Barack Obama voted to deny basic constitutional protections for babies born alive from an abortion – not once, but four times."
She concludes: “I know it’s by the grace of God I’m alive today, if only to ask America this question: is this the kind of leadership that will move us forward, that will discard the weakest among us? How will you answer?”
Ezra Taft Benson former Sec Of Agriculture under Eisenhower recounting a discussion he had With Khrushchev…
“I have personally witnessed the heart rendering results of the loss of freedom. I have talked face to face with a Godless Communist leader. It may surprise you to learn that I was host to Mr. Khrushchev for a half day when he visited the U.S. I’m not proud of it. I opposed his coming in and I still feel it was a mistake to welcome this atheistic murderer as a state visitor but according to President Eisenhower, Khrushchev had expressed the desire to learn something of American agriculture and after seeing Russian agriculture, I can understand why.
“As we talked face to face, he indicated that my grandchildren would live under communism. After assuring him that I planned to do all in my power to assure that his and all other grandchildren would live under freedom, he arrogantly declared in substance, ‘You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright but we will keep feeding strong doses of socialism until you finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy until you fall like over ripe fruit into our hands.’” Ezra Taft Benson, former Sec. Of Agriculture under Eisenhower recounting a discussion he had With Khrushchev

Khrushchev also said in 1961 in his inimitable, boorish manner that Americans were those who if “you spit in their face, they call it dew.” In Bucharest, Rumania in 1962 he said, “But we do not want to make war on America or anyone else. We believe that some day the red flag will fly over the U.S. too but the American people will raise it.”

Obama has taken over mainstream media; Obama's tribute to Neil Armstrong; Will Harry Reid apologize?; Code Pink protests at RNC; Obama's personal likeability advantage has disappeared; Obama adviser says Obama must be defeated; Children banned from DNC War on Women convention floor; ACORN back under 174 new names

Award-winning actor Jon Voight told The Daily Caller at the Republican National Convention that he thinks President Barack Obama’s administration has “taken over” the mainstream media in a manner similar to how leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez controls media in his country.
“The media has been taken over by this administration,” Voight, an outspoken Hollywood conservative, said in an interview with TheDC. “It’s not less than what has happened in Venezuela with Hugo Chavez, really, because you can’t get the information through. I’m giving you this because I want to get the press my opinion. You can put it in any way you want to. But, it’s become pure propaganda and we should be appalled.”
Obama took to his tumblr page to offer a tribute to Neil Armstrong. The words–two sentences–are fine in a generic politician way. But, Obama being Obama, he injected himself into the tribute. He included a photo, not of Armstrong or the iconic step onto the lunar surface, but of himself, gazing up at the moon.
Even though he has not released his returns from earlier years, the 2010 return sheds some light on those years.
That’s because Mr. Romney paid income tax to foreign countries, and as result claimed in 2010 a $129,697 foreign tax credit, which he used to offset taxes he owed in the United States. American taxpayers who claim the foreign tax credit are required to report their total foreign taxes paid and tax credits used for the previous 10 years. So that return contains foreign tax data going back to 2000.
The good news for Mr. Romney is the forms suggest that he paid at least some federal income tax every year, as he has said he did. He used the foreign tax credit every year to offset his taxes in the United States, and American taxpayers can’t use a tax credit if they owe no federal income tax.
Giant, walking vaginas have descended upon the Republican National Convention.
Several demonstrators from the feminist group Code Pink wore frilly pink costumes while others adorned with cardboard cutouts resembling the sexual organ were milling about Sunday looking for Republicans.-

Obama’s Former Law Professor & 2008 Adviser: ‘Obama Must be Defeated in the Coming Election’

“President Obama must be defeated in the coming election. He has failed to advance the progressive cause in the United States,” the Harvard Law professor and Brazilian politician announced in a video published on YouTube.
“He has spent trillions of dollars to rescue the moneyed interests and left workers and homeowners to their own devices,” Unger added, also saying that Obama’s policies amount to “financial confidence and food stamps.”
The Democratic National Convention has just banned children from the convention floor — including breastfeeding babies — unless those children have convention credentials. Which, needless to say, is relatively unlikely.
It is not clear what motivated this particular policy. However, in a development that may surprise some people, the move has infuriated the party’s feminist luminaries. Feminist icon Gloria Steinem issued a statement to the Charlotte Observer slamming the policy:
“Women are the key to a Democratic victory, and sometimes, children are the key to women,” Steinem said in a statement. “It’s both right and smart for the Democratic Convention to behave as if children exist.”  [And in another stroke of brilliance, at a convention demonizing Republicans for their so-called War on Women, they have President Bill Clinton as a prime speaker.]
They’re back.
This week, Cause of Action, a nonprofit focusing on government accountability released a full list of re-branded former ACORN entities, still-active ACORN entities, and ACORN allies. The list is a shocking 174 organizations long. It includes the federally funded Affordable Housing Centers of America (AHCOA) – the successor to ACORN – and the Mutual Housing Authority of New York (MHANY). MHANY is affiliated with the New York Communities for Change, a re-branded ACORN entity, which brags that the Obama Housing and Urban Development Department has approved it as a housing counselor. According to MHANY, it receives funds from the Federal Home Loan Bank, HUD, and Fannie Mae.

Allowing a President to keep his records secret; A thought on abortion; NRC protestor had machete strapped to leg; Anarchists and Tampa's Emergency Medical Services; GOP not itching to re-enslave blacks; Household incomes drop with Obama; Obama's Medicare lies - on Medicare and on Twitter followers

According to Judicial Watch, Rep. Edolphous Towns (D-NY) has introduced the Presidential Records Act Amendments of 2011. That bill would do with Obama’s presidential records what Obama has already done to his personal and collegiate records: Seal them up.
In an obvious effort to protect President Barack Obama, a group of congressional Democrats has introduced legislation to create an official process that will allow the commander-in-chief to keep presidential records secret after he leaves office.
Ironically, Obama revoked a similar George W. Bush order in one of his first official acts as president. In 2001 Bush penned an executive order severely limiting public access to his presidential records. Shortly after swearing in, Obama killed it as part of his much-ballyhooed commitment to government transparency. At the time, the new president claimed that he was giving the American people greater access to “historic documents.”
We're not the kind of country that gets rid of illegal immigrant children who are here thru no fault of their own"  Barack Obama
We are, however a country which aborts children which are here thru no fault of their own.
A Republican National Convention protestor was arrested while he allegedly carried a machete strapped to his leg, according to deputies.

Anarchists Plan to Take Down Emergency Medical Services at RNC

While one may disagree with Romney, his running mate Paul Ryan, and every Republican on Capitol Hill, the notion that the GOP is itching to re-enslave blacks is an outrageous, disgusting lie that utterly mutilates American history. As most students learn in junior high school, abolitionists launched the Republican party to end slavery. Republicans defeated the Confederacy and then spent Reconstruction trying to incorporate blacks into American society. Democrats fought them at every turn.
Democrats opposed the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which bans slavery, and the 14th Amendment, which guarantees every American equal protection under law, regardless of race. Unwilling to limit their anti-black hate to Capitol Hill, Democrats founded the Ku Klux Klan as, in essence, the party’s militant wing. In the 1920s, Democrats defeated the GOP’s federal anti-lynching legislation. Led by West Virginia’s Robert Byrd — a one-time Exalted Cyclops in the KKK who recruited 150 new Klansmen — Senate Democrats filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Republicans broke that filibuster and moved that landmark legislation to President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s desk for signature.
If this nastiness continues, something truly ugly could happen. The Right’s public discourse has its blemishes. But hatred, invective, and racial pot-stirring are light years more common and intense on the left.
Obama should blow his own dog whistle and tell his partisans to cease and desist. They should discuss today’s issues. Slavery is not among them. [The columnist is black....]
Hope and Change? Household Income drops 4.8% Decrease During the Recovery
In another blow to the Obama administration, The LA Times reported on August 23rd that household income dropped 4.8% during the so-called ‘recovery.’  Madeline Albright wants to “Blame Bush Forever,” but it appears that frivolous tactic isn’t going to work here because, as this data indicates, Obama made things worse.
For households headed by those between the ages of 25 and 34, real median annual income fell 8.9% from $54,520 in June 2009 to $49,659.
– The opposite occurred for households headed by those 65 to 74 years old. For this age bracket, income rose by 6.5% from $39,548 to $42,113 during the same three-year period.
– Regionally, the drops were disparate. Households in the West region saw a drop of 8.5% — from $59,065 to $54,071 — compared with the Midwest’s 1.1% decline.
– Perhaps the starkest drop was among African American households, which saw median income drop 11.1% from $36,567 to $32,498.
You can’t just make stuff up,” the President said last week. [If you are Barack Obama - oh, yes you can.  You can even lie about anything you want.]  “That’s something that you learn as President.” But in the two weeks since Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan as his running mate, President Obama has misleadingly defended his health law’s $716 billion in cuts to Medicare over the next decade. And on Saturday, the Obama campaign came out with a new ad, approved by the President, claiming that Mitt Romney’s Medicare plan could require seniors to pay $6,400 more a year for health insurance. That claim is not only false, but brazenly and incontrovertibly so. Indeed, almost everything in the ad is wrong except for the phrase “I’m Barack Obama, and I approved this message.”
A little bird told me that millions of Obama’s Twitter followers are fake. As a USA Today article finds, around 70% of the president’s 18.8 million followers are drone accounts (if one excludes his real life Twitter followers).  [Just another Obama lie....]
According to a report by the NY Times,  a mediocre celebrity, unfunny comic, or failing president can purchase blocks of phony Twitter IDs. President Obama’s 70% fake rating is just under Lady Gaga’s, whose 29 million followers.
National Republican party officials on Wednesday put their party officially on record opposing United Nations‘ attempts, some backed by Democrats in Congress, to assess a special tax on Americans and give the money to Third World nations.
In a resolution, the Republican National Committee made clear its objection to “three global taxes and a global monetary governance mechanism to raise $400 billion a year to aid developing countries.”
The move also could have the practical effect of complicating the ability of the U.S. to participate in such international accords as the Law of the Sea Treaty, which the U.S. Senate has never ratified, and successor agreements to the Kyoto global-warming pact.
