On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s
The Cycle the group discussed Republican presidential nominee
Mitt Romney‘s assertion that President
Obama should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.” Co-host
Touré
saw what he believes to be explicit racial connotations beneath what
Romney was saying, calling it the “niggerization” of the campaign.
“That really bothered me,” he said. “You notice he said anger twice.
He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep
stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook
against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”
“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is
‘niggerization,’” TourĂ© said to the apparent shock of his co-panelists.
“You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been
trained to fear.”
[Now this is the racial division typical of this campaign. A "Chicago way", epitomized by white Mayor Daley, Rod Blagojevich, and the Italian Mafia [does anyone remember Al Capone and Elliot Ness fighting the "Chicago Way?], as well as a heavy-handed leadership, is now presented as all black just to gin up hatred for Romney. Regardless of his color (half-black), didn't Obama get his start in community organizing and politics in Chicago?] http://www.mediaite.com/tv/msnbcs-toure-to-panel-romney-engaging-in-the-niggerization-of-obama/

*The Obama administration, to its everlasting shame, has eagerly
leaked sensitive national security information to advance its own
partisan political interests. The killing of Osama bin Laden by special
forces who had been on the job for years was the most grotesque, but not
the only, example. Special forces operators and intelligence officials
were outraged by Obama’s leaks, as were many others, including
Democratic Senators.
So a bunch of special operators and intelligence professionals got
together to protest against the Obama administration’s irresponsibility.
The result is this video, titled “Dishonorable Disclosure.” It is
dynamite: the production values are excellent, and the message is
overpowering. The video is 22 minutes long, but trust me: it is
riveting, and goes fast. You should watch the whole thing, to appreciate
how dishonorable the Obama administration is when it comes to national
security.

President Obama loves to tout the General Motors bailout as the
signature “achievement” of his presidency, even though current taxpayer
losses on the deal are estimated at over $25 billion. The exact degree
to which the rest of us got soaked so Obama could give GM to his union
allies changes constantly as the value of the stock held by We the
People fluctuates. You don’t remember being asked if you would like to
become a GM stockholder and willingly accept massive losses to protect
highly compensated union jobs, do you? Well, that’s the great thing
about command economics. It relieves the ruling class of the tedious
chores private-sector entrepreneurs face when attracting
voluntary investment.
Not only does Obama portray the GM bailout as a great success, he has
actually said, in public, that he wants a lot more “successes” just
like it. “I said I believe in American workers, I believe in this
American industry, and now the American auto industry has come roaring
back,” he told an audience in Colorado last week. “Now I want to do the
same thing with manufacturing jobs, not just in the auto industry,
but in every industry.”
Now
Forbes tells
us GM is probably heading for bankruptcy again. Its stock price would
have to more than double, to $53.00 per share, for taxpayers to recover
their “investment.” Instead, stock values have declined by 39 percent
in absolute terms, and 49 percent relative to the Dow average, since GM
went public in 2010. Louis Woodhill of
Forbes thinks political
considerations would prompt Obama to “ride the stock down to zero”
instead of cashing out at a massive loss to the public.

In the innocent, bygone days of February, President Obama told NBC
News that the campaign would get negative against him, but provided this
assurance: “I think that you will be able to see how we conduct
ourselves in the campaign. I think it will be consistent with how I
conducted myself in 2008 and hopefully how I have conducted myself as
president of the United States.”
Not since Gary Hart urged reporters to follow him around
because “they’d be very bored” has an assurance been more of an
indictment.
[For those of you who do not recall, the reporters found that Hart was having an affair, and photographed the two on the yacht Monkey Business. His campaign for President ended one week later.] Read more at

President Obama’s answer on Wednesday to a question about his running
mate claiming Republicans are going to put “y’all back in chains” was a
classic bit of soothing presidential palaver.
“I don’t think you
or anybody who’s been watching the campaign would say that in any way we
have tried to divide the country,” he said about a moment in which Joe
Biden had done precisely that.
The president’s answer has the
quality of the adulterer caught in bed with another woman who says to
his wife, “Who you gonna believe? Me or your lying eyes?”
Biden
was suggesting, off the cuff or not, that Republicans want to restart
slavery (apparently through deregulation of the banking system).

The end of Medicare and Medicaid as we know them—through reform, the
Ryan way, or -bankruptcy, the Obama way. The direction of the
country—via the Romney-Ryan right track, or the Obama-Biden wrong track.
Those are the choices, made stark by the addition of Paul Ryan to the
Republican ticket.

America’s first black governor in modern times has become the most
senior Democrat to break ranks over Joe Biden’s ‘y’all in chains’
comments, telling the Vice President: 'Slavery is nothing to joke
about.'-
Douglas Wilder, who was governor of Virginia from 1990 to 1994 and
the first black governor since Reconstruction, told CNN that 'without
question' Biden’s remarks in Danville, Virginia (though the veep seemed
to think he was in North Carolina) 'were appeals to race'.
He continued: 'The important thing I got out of this was Biden
separated himself from what he accused the people of doing. As a matter
of fact, what he said is they are going to do something to y’all, not to
me. Not us. So he was still involved with that separate American.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer on Wednesday ordered state agencies to deny
driver’s licenses and other public benefits to young illegal immigrants
who obtain work authorizations under a new Obama administration policy.
In an executive order, Brewer said she was reaffirming the intent of
current Arizona law denying taxpayer-funded public benefits and state
identification to illegal immigrants.

Democrats eager to tell seniors President Obama will protect them
from Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan have a problem:
Florida seniors want Ryan to protect them from Obamacare, a new poll
suggests.
In Florida, “48 percent of the state’s voters fear the
president’s health care law more than Ryan’s proposal when it comes to
Medicare,” Rasmussen found in a survey of 500 likely voters (
subscriber content). “Just 41 percent fear Ryan’s proposal more.”
Ryan’s lead over Obama is even larger among senior citizens, of whom “54 percent are more fearful of the president’s plan.”

Bullet-proof checkpoint booths. Riot gear. Hollow point bullets.
The Department of Homeland Security—a non-military agency—has requested all of these items, and more.
Is the United States about to enter a domestic war? Or is Obama just determined to keep dissenters in line?
Of course, after the outcry began because citizens wondered what in
the world the National Weather Service would need with thousands of
rounds of ammo, the
Washington Post ran a correction that the
solicitation contained a “clerical error” and the bullets are in fact
meant for the NOAA Fisheries of Law office.
But that clarification doesn’t set our minds at ease, because the
federal government is busy purchasing checkpoint booths, anti-radiation
pills, and large assault vehicles.
AND the Social Security Administration is ready to purchase 174,000
rounds of hollow point bullets that will be delivered to 41 locations
across the country, including Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston, Dallas and
Seattle.
Is the United States about to enter a situation that resembles Nazi Germany?
Since the news of the DHS bullet purchase broke in March, it has come
to our attention that the agency has requested other items, as well.
Infowars reports that Government Security News is listing riot gear
requested by the DHS:
- 147 riot helmets – which must have an “adjustable tactical face
shield with liquid seal” and be able to fit the “3M Full Face Respirator
FR-M40B masks.”
- 152 sets of thigh and groin protection
- 147 hard shell shin guards – which should have an “optimized
protective design for severe riot control or tactical situations.”
- 156 forearm protectors
- 147 pairs of tactical gloves – which should ensure that the “Kevlar on
back of hands is flame/flash retardant as well as cut protective.”

Mr. Ryan's [Medicare] plan has a different approach [from Obama]. While there would be no
changes in Medicare for those 55 or older, starting in 10 years younger
Americans would have a choice. They could either pick traditional
Medicare or use the average amount of money the government spends on
each Medicare enrollee to buy private insurance. The reasoning is based
on a reliable truth: Competition will lower costs by using market forces
to spur innovation and improvement.
This approach is nothing new or radical. Called "premium support," it
was recommended in 1999 by Louisiana Democratic Sen. John Breaux,
chairman of President Bill Clinton's Medicare Reform Commission.
