Obama's Libyan war; Obama's admission to Harvard aided by Saudi prince;I.D. theft from government files; Romney now criticized for overpaying taxes; Dem candidate doesn't report earnings for 3 years; Biden says 650,000 military still in Afghanistan; Another Obama green energy company failing; Romney up among middle-class; Catastrophic intelligence loss; Our Army targets the Bible; Obama cancels meeting with Egypt's Islamist President; Ahmadinejad wants meeting with Occupy Wall St.; War vets pulling away from Obama; Obama on "the View" is "eye candy"; Obama fails to fill 5000 seat arena in Wisconsin; Why Senate passes no budget; MSM notices Obama's failures; Obama: no worries .

Hey, Obama Lovers, now that our Ambassador is dead, our Benghazi consulate is a smoldering ruin, and its top secret documents have been snatched by Al Qaeda, do you still think your hero's Libyan war is a smashing success?
Because I sure do. Not from America's point of view, of course; it's a nightmare for our national security.
But from the perspective of Obama's biggest donor, the convicted felon and renowned Israel-hater George Soros, the Libyan War is a triumph.  Why? Because Obama waged it illegally and without the consent of Congress. And he did it in the name of the political philosophy that Soros bought and paid for: Responsibility to Protect, or, as it's so zippily dubbed by our global elites, R2P.

In late March 2008, on a local New York City show called “Inside City Hall,” the venerable African-American entrepreneur and politico, Percy Sutton, told host Dominic Carter how he was asked to help smooth Barack Obama’s admission into Harvard Law School 20 years earlier.
The octogenarian Sutton calmly and lucidly explained that he had been “introduced to [Obama] by a friend.” The friend’s name was Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, and the introduction had taken place about 20 years prior.
Sutton described al-Mansour as “the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men.” The billionaire in question was Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
Given the game-changing nature of this revelation when it surfaced in late August 2008, the Obama camp and its allies in the media, particularly Politico and Media Matters, shifted into overdrive to kill the story. Through a series of denials, lies and slanders about Sutton’s mental health, they succeeded. http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/saudi-billionaire-did-help-obama-into-harvard/

[The following situation was used by me when I told the regional Census Bureau official at my door that I refuse to comply by filling out my American Communities Survey.] When you hear a number like "94 million" in the news, it's usually because somebody won the lottery. This time around, no such luck. This 94 million is the number of Americans' files in which personal information has been exposed, since 2009, to potential identity theft through data breaches at government agencies. Go ahead, count the zeroes: 94,000,000. That's like releasing the personal data of every man, woman and child in California, Texas, New York, and Ohio. http://abcnews.go.com/Business/94-million-exposed-governments-epic-fail-privacy/story?id=17274347#.UGBE5VH77pJ

A self-described Democratic business expert running for Congress in Illinois has not reported earning income from his own consulting firm for the last three years, according to financial disclosure forms, leading one constituent to file a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).

Two years ago, when President Obama visited the LG Chem battery plant in Holland, it was hailed as part of the transformation of Michigan to a “green economy.”
The battery plant, which supplies batteries for the Chevy Volt, got $151 million from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Today, $133 million of that $151 million has been spent, but since April, the company's 200 workers have been on "rolling furloughs" because the electric vehicle market has failed to blossom as promised by many. http://www.michigancapitolconfidential.com/17567

Republican poll analysis: Romney winning with middle-class families [by 14%].

Among the more than two dozen American personnel evacuated from the city [Benghazi] after the assault on the American mission and a nearby annex were about a dozen C.I.A. operatives and contractors, who played a crucial role in conducting surveillance and collecting information on an array of armed militant groups in and around the city.
“It’s a catastrophic intelligence loss,” said one American official who has served in Libya and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the F.B.I. is still investigating the attack. “We got our eyes poked out.” [Obama's foreign policy failure?  What foreign policy failure?  Do you know that about 75% of American deaths and nearly 2/3 of our money spent on the Afghanistan war have occurred in the last 4 years?  But don't forget - OBAMA killed Osama, as he has bragged.]  http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/24/world/africa/attack-in-libya-was-major-blow-to-cia-efforts.html?_r=1

The soldiers who wake up in Walter Reed Medical Center are in Maryland not communist China but under the Navy's new rules they may not know the difference. After months of peeling away the military's core values, Obama's army is on the move and this time it has a high value target: the Bible.

In a memo obtained by FRC, Navy officials have announced that "no religious items (including Bibles, reading material, and or artifacts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit." The new orders are buried in a four page document about patient care which an Army officer forwarded to us in disbelief. Effective immediately families, friends, and even pastors will have to check their beliefs at the door to visit one of the largest military hospitals in the United States.

After the memo was circulated to leaders on the Hill, an outraged Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) took to the House floor and blasted the policy. "Mr. Speaker, these military men and women who are recovering at Walter Reed and Bethesda have given their all for America! They've defended and taken an oath to the Constitution and now the people who come to visit them can't bring a religious artifact? They can't bring a Bible? ... A priest can't walk in with the Eucharist and offer communion to a patient who might be on their deathbed because it's prohibited in this memo from the Department of the Navy?"- http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120923155522AAzutNT
A responder to this said: Read and answered the question. The links are all valid and focus on the
Director of the Hospital as the source of the Memo. Liberals claim it has
been rescinded, which it was almost "immediately", but claim that it
was proposed with no review through the White House.

President Barack Obama has quietly cancelled a politically risky plan to meet this week with Egypt’s new Islamist president.
The plan was cancelled amid a wave of riots and attacks in Arab countries that have damaged Obama’s campaign-trail claim to foreign policy competence.  [He is, however, still going to be on The View.]

A report today in an official outlet of the Iranian regime claims that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, will meet with members of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Ahmadinejad is currently in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly, where these reported meetings will take place.
"Ahmadinejad is also set to meet American university students, artists, intellectuals and elites, including Occupy Wall Street anti-capitalist protestors, despite the ongoing efforts made by the pro-Zionist lobbies to prevent direct link between American people and the Iranian president," the Iranian organ Fars News reports.
Earlier this year American professors gathered in Tehran to discuss the supposed virtues of the Occupy Wall Street movement.
In New York, the Iranian president has several interviews lined up. "President Ahmadinejad has also accepted the interview requests made by several news networks, including CNN, CBS and Russia Today (RT)," Fars reports.  [Occupy has decided not to meet with him.]  http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/report-ahmadinejad-meet-occupy-wall-street_652994.html

President Barack Obama is trying hard to win veterans, but it looks like they’d prefer a new commander in chief.
But recent polls make clear that the president’s campaign is losing the battle. Even as Obama leads in Colorado, Florida, Ohio and Virginia, Mitt Romney is up by double digits among veterans in those states. Nationwide, he’s got a commanding 20-percentage-point lead over Obama and has even overtaken the president with younger veterans.

President Barack Obama on Monday sought to woo women voters at a taping of the daytime talk show "The View," by flirting with his wife and bearing gifts for the hosts, but he could not escape tough questions on the economy that have dominated the election.
When host and veteran journalist Barbara Walters kidded Michelle Obama about bringing the president as her "date," Obama quipped [never to be humble, always to be arrogant], "I've been told I'm just eye candy here." http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/24/usa-campaign-view-idUSL1E8KOJ2R20120924

Media Put 18,000 in Not-Quite-Full 5,000-Seat Arena for Obama in Wisconsin

The pavilion was not "filled"--a local reporter for Patch.com filmed empty seats in the bleachers at the side of the arena (see above). Nevertheless, the Journal-Sentinal played it safe, putting attendance at roughly 5,000-plus, a small but respectable turnout.
That's not how national media covered it. Darren Samuelsohn of Politico reported that the president addressed "a crowd the Obama campaign estimated at 18,000 in a city park overlooking Lake Michigan" in an attempt to "lock up" Wisconsin.
Laura Meckler of the Wall Street Journal--whose news section, according to UCLA professor Tim Groseclose, is the most liberal of any major mainstream outlet--repeated the campaign's 18,000 claim without even revealing the source of the official-sounding estimate.
Both outlets described the location of the rally as a "park," without revealing the name of the arena itself, which would have given the game away. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/09/23/Media-Put-18000-in-5000-Seat-Arena-for-Obama

Another aspect of transparency was the Constitution's requirement that Congress pass a budget every year. The Democratically controlled Senate during the Obama administration has not passed a budget for three consecutive years.
Passing a budget makes the administration tell the public what it will pay for, what it will have to cut to reduce the deficit -- and how big the deficit will be if they don't cut anything. By not even passing a budget, Obama 2 and his party are in effect saying to the public, "It is none of your business." Transparency?
In his oath of office, Barack Obama swore to see that the laws are faithfully executed, as all Presidents do. But that was Obama 1. Once in the White House, Obama 2 proceeded to explicitly waive the enforcement of laws he didn't agree with. http://townhall.com/columnists/thomassowell/2012/09/25/obama_versus_obama/page/full/

Even MSM Beginning to Notice Obama’s Middle East Failures

The press has been kind to the Obama administration during its travails in the Middle East, kinder than it might have been if the president were a Republican. That may finally be changing—and it only took a fiasco of epic proportions to do it. http://blogs.the-american-interest.com/wrm/2012/09/24/even-msm-beginning-to-notice-obamas-middle-east-failures/

The smiling, self-assured Barack Obama who appeared on the Letterman show last Tuesday night plainly did not see anything to be alarmed about in what is happening in the Middle East, or anywhere else for that matter -- with the possible exception on the ongoing "war on women" (meaning the American version thereof, not the Muslim or Middle Eastern variant, which includes stoning, virtual enslavement, and other real-world atrocities).
Exactly one week after the Sept. 11th storming of the American embassy in Cairo and the terrorist assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Obama did not appear to have a care in the world. Following the show he headed off for a fundraiser with Jay Z. and Beyoncé. http://spectator.org/archives/2012/09/24/heading-for-disaster-without-n
