Obama on the individual mandate; You can make people buy broccoli, or a burial plot; These people are not stupid; IRS to hire 10,000 agents for health care provisions; Obama backers whipping up mobs; A Christian revolt in San Francisco; Boys in hoodies, and Mr. President's campaign; There is room for socialists and communists; Cheney should not have received heart because "he tends to stir controversy"; Obama Administration to work hand-in-glove with UN to pass a new "Small Arms Treaty"; Flash mob over Travon; House Dems' plan is for $6 trillion more in deficits

"...it does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds..." -- Samuel Adams

UK Daily Mail's US editor writes: At issue today was the so-called 'individual mandate" - the federal government's act of compelling Americans to buy health insurance. It is the centrepiece of the Affordable Health Care Act - aka Obamacare - which is the signature achievement of Obama's presidency thus far.
But back during the 2008 campaign, Obama argued strenuously against the individual mandate. In a debate in South Carolina, he said: "A mandate means that in some fashion, everybody will be forced to buy health insurance. ... But I believe the problem is not that folks are trying to avoid getting health care. The problem is they can't afford it. And that's why my plan emphasizes lowering costs."
In February 2008, he said that you could no more solve the issue of the uninsured with an individual mandate than you could cure homelessness by ordering people to buy a home: http://harndenblog.dailymail.co.uk/2012/03/supreme-irony-obamacare.html

CBS reports: “Could you define the market — everybody has to buy food sooner or later, so you define the market as food, therefore, everybody is in the market; therefore, you can make people buy broccoli,” Scalia said.
Verrilli responded that buying food in the supermarket is “unpredictable and often involuntary,” unlike purchasing health insurance.
Scalia compared that line of thinking to forcing someone to buy a car“[I]f people don’t buy cars, the price that those who do buy cars pay will have to be higher,” the Supreme Court justice said. “So you could say in order to bring the price down, you are hurting these other people by not buying a car.” http://washington.cbslocal.com/2012/03/27/you-can-make-people-buy-broccoli-scalia-goes-after-health-care-law/

Daily Caller writes: While Solicitor General Donald Verrilli Jr. made the Obama administration’s case for the constitutionality of the individual mandate in the health care law Tuesday, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia interrupted and lectured Verrilli about American consumers, saying “These people [are] not stupid.”
Justice Elena Kagan, a former solicitor general appointed by President Obama to the high court, sided with Verrilli in arguing that young people should be required by the federal government to purchase health insurance because others will subsidize their health care in the future.
Scalia shot back, arguing that young people will make the decision to buy health insurance eventually and do not need to be forced by the federal government to engage in commerce.
The transcript of the exchange is below:
As Justice Samuel Alito asked, what is to stop Washington from compelling you to buy a burial plot? Or, as others have asked, a GM car to rescue Detroit? Or stocks and bonds to prop up Wall Street?

Examiner reports: Following the heated debate and passage of Obamacare, the Treasury Department reported that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service -- an agency under the direction of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner --  would hire upwards of 10,000 more agents to enforce several provisions of the far-reaching health care program, according to a government report.
With the IRS set to take a significant role in the new health care law signed by President Barack Obama on national television, that part of the Obamacare plan continues to worry those who have little faith in government efficiency, especially when Americans' privacy issues are involved, according to the American Society for Effective Healthcare
Many security experts fear that Americans' patient information will be vulnerable to unauthorized access and distribution with perpetrators being outside hackers or IRS insiders.

American Thinker reports: In another historic first, President Obama's backers are actively whipping up mobs.  Not just the Occupoopers of Wall Street, but also Twitter mobs, Facebook mobs, and flash mobs.
Every active conservative should spend some time on social media sites to see liberals whipping each other into a frenzy.  Know your enemy -- and if you don't like the word "enemy" (I don't), consider what Saul Alinsky calls you. You may not consider yourself their enemy, but that's how they think about you.  Ignore it at your peril.
The Obama campaign loves to boast about its use of  Facebook and Twitter to push The One over the top last time.  With Facebook claiming 700 million members, the potential for political mayhem is huge.
This is David Axelrod's specialty of astroturfing.  Obama has become O'mobba: he is the first president in history to give his official public blessing to "idealistic" anti-capitalist mobs.
There is no doubt that these organized "spontaneous" mobs will be used in the election campaign.  Be prepared to face nasty, vicious lowbrow mobs with iPhones and iPads.

The Gateway Pundit reports: Wow!… They didn’t expect this…
When the Obama Administration attacked religious freedom in America with their new HHS mandate they certainly didn’t expect to see a Christian revolt… In San Francisco!
Up until now, the TEA party, a secular group, has been the central force defending freedom against Obama’s governmental power grabs. If this rally is an indication, religious groups may form a second front in this war for freedom. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/03/whoa-christians-hold-huge-protest-against-obamas-hhs-mandate-in-san-francisco/

World Net Daily posts: BOYS IN THE HOODIES

Douse the flames, Mr. President!

Pat Buchanan: Why doesn't Obama give a Tucson-type speech over Trayvon incident?

Addressing the Sanford, Fla., incident, black Muslim Minister Louis Farrakhan tweeted: “Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon, and very soon, the law of retaliation may … be applied.”
The New Black Panther Party has issued a “Wanted Dead or Alive” poster featuring the face of George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin, and printed up a flier saying Martin was “murdered in cold blood.”
When Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad was asked if this could ignite an explosive situation that has already seen death threats drive Zimmerman and his father from their homes, Muhammad cursed and said Zimmerman “should be fearful for his life.”
Demanding “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,” the Black Panther leader offered $10,000 for Zimmerman’s capture and called for 5,000 black men to run him down.
“If the government won’t do the job, we’ll do it,” he warned.
Spike Lee helpfully tweeted Zimmerman’s home address. [Buchanan should have noted that the Obama campaign itself is selling Obama hoodies!  And don't forget their Obamacare - still a BFD tshirts.]

Glenn Beck reports: Francis Fox Piven [of Cloward and Piven fame, with a plan to "bring down America] told an audience Left Forum 2012, “There is room for all of us. Religious leftists, people who think peace is the answer, those who think that wholesome food is what we really need, ecologists and old-fashioned Democrats, Democratic Socialists, Socialists and Communists.” http://www.glennbeck.com/2012/03/23/frances-fox-piven-yeah-we%E2%80%99re-working-with-the-communists/

Media Research Center reports: You see how far we have come - that some think government should interfere in private health insurance decisions? To think that political pundits, for that is who they are, not only used age, but political ideology, as the determiner for health care is outrageous and dangerous.] Sinking to a new low in their disdain for Dick Cheney, the hosts on Monday's NBC Today wondered if the former vice president should have received a recent heart transplant, with Ann Curry declaring at the top of the broadcast: "...even though he has waited longer than most to receive his donor heart, some are questioning whether someone that old should be getting one..." [Listen to the audio]
Fellow co-host Matt Lauer described Cheney as "somebody who tends to stir controversy," who "can cause all kinds of controversy if he orders a cup of tea."
In the report that followed, NBC's left-wing chief medical editor Dr. Nancy Snyderman sounded like a one-person death panel, as she fretted: "...this has raised a lot of ethical questions, moral  questions, about whether the Vice President, in fact, should have received his heart against – ahead of other people. And, raises the question, how old is too old to receive such a precious transplant?" http://www.mrc.org/biasalerts/nbc-did-controversial-dick-cheney-really-deserve-heart-transplant

Pruden Politics reports:  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently announced the Obama Administration will be working hand-in-glove with the UN to pass a new “Small Arms Treaty.”

Disguised as an “International Arms Control Treaty” to fight against “terrorism,” “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates,” the UN Small Arms Treaty is in fact a massive, GLOBAL gun control scheme. http://www.prudenpolitics.com/index.php/pruden/showcase_web/ad_rand_paul_hillary_commits_to_un_small_arms_treaty?utm_source=SABER-3&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2854

----------------------------------------------------------------- Local10 News reports: North Miami Beach police said surveillance video shows dozens of high school students demonstrating in the Trayvon Martin case Friday ransacking a Walgreens store.
The incident occurred during a walkout from North Miami Beach Senior High School in support of Martin, 17, who was fatally shot in Sanford. Protesters have been calling for the arrest of George Zimmerman, 28, who has not been charged because he claimed self-defense in the shooting, according to police. [As they said, they were just trying to make a point, and they were mad.  Those who did not go in are embarrassed by their fellow students' behavior.]  http://www.local10.com/news/Police-Trayvon-protesters-ransack-store/-/1717324/9719674/-/xctonpz/-/index.html

The Hill reports: House Democrats on Monday night introduced their 2013 budget plan to compete with the Republicans' proposal on the chamber floor this week.
Sponsored by Rep. Chris Van Hollen (Md.), senior Democrat on the House Budget Committee, the $3.6 trillion proposal is not expected to pass, but nonetheless provides the Democrats with a comprehensive plan to distinguish their policy priorities from those of Republicans this election year.
The budget adds $6 trillion to deficits over 10 years, compared to $6.4 trillion for the president. It contains $643 billion less in spending, and $219 billion less in revenue. http://thehill.com/blogs/on-the-money/budget/218333-house-dems-introduce-36t-budget-plan

If they sign that UN 'small arms treaty' it will be a very hot summer !
Why aren't the Black Panther leaders being arrested for their promotion of a "bounty" and creating civil unrest/riots/murder/mayhem ?!!!
