WE THE PEOPLE - VOTE!; Obama's words inspire us; More Obama rules and regulations

Offer to take someone to the polls with you.  Encourage others to vote.

Be part of the SECOND GREATEST GENERATION - THOSE WHO TOOK A STAND AGAINST THE FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION OF BARACK OBAMA AND HIS PROGRESSIVE COHORTS !!  Those who turned back the radical, liberal agenda of those who have worked for decades and almost made their dreams come true are those who will be voting for President Mitt Romney!

Please open my Smilebox for inspiration!
Our President once said, “When we don’t pay close attention to the decisions made by our leaders, when we fail to educate ourselves about the major issues of the day, when we choose not to make our voices and opinions heard, that’s when democracy breaks down. That’s when power is abused. That’s when the most extreme voices in our society fill the void that we leave. That’s when powerful interests and their lobbyists are most able to buy access and influence in the corridors of power –- because none of us are there to speak up and stop them." Indeed, Mr. President.

[Does this seem like the right person to be investigating?] Obama-Appointed Benghazi Investigator Calls America Hotbed Of 'Islamophobia'

“Data shows that those Americans who do not know Muslims, who do not know much about Islam, are the ones who harbor the greatest feelings of prejudice,” he said.
There is a “strong, continuing, and perhaps, in an unfortunate way in some areas, growing, prejudice against Muslims and Islam,” he said.
[Direct from the White House website, August 9, 2012:] THE PRESIDENT:  I said I believe in American workers, I believe in this American industry, and now the American auto industry has come roaring back and GM is number one again.  So now I want to do the same thing with manufacturing jobs not just in the auto industry, but in every industry.  I don’t want those jobs taking root in places like China.  I want them taking root in places like Pueblo.
Last week, Obama asserted a kind of ownership of the storm by touring New Jersey in the now infamous embrace of Republican stalwart Governor Chris Christie. Now that we are all appalled by the lack of food, gas, water, heat, and the basic essentials of life throughout the storm zone, Obama’s government doesn’t look so good anymore.
Why didn’t FEMA stockpile food, water, and gasoline? We had a week’s notice to prepare for Sandy. There was no shortage of time. Did the government not realize that people needed to eat, drink, and drive?
All throughout America, we are asking these questions of our television sets as we watch the evolving story of human misery.
Meanwhile, Obama has resumed the campaign trail, pounding the opposition in the same relentless and partisan style which he used before the storm. When Obama said that voting was “the best revenge,” he threw away whatever presidentiality he displayed in touring storm damage earlier in the week.

NYS Board Of Elections: It’s Possible Voting May Be Permitted Beyond Tuesday

If Turnout Is Less Than 25% Of Registered Voters, Second Day Could Happen

The commissioners, two Democrats and two Republicans, would make that decision after Election Day. Any second day would have to be scheduled within 20 days.
Something like this has never happened before, but due to the extraordinary circumstances currently hitting New York, it could.

Obama's Cleveland Rally Attendance 20x Lower than 2008 [80,000 now 2800]

There's no reason to act surprised about the Administration's handling of this crisis,  after all.  Did you assume as apparently pundits like Peggy Noonan and David Brooks did that a community organizer known largely for voting "present" was up to the task? Or did they miss this luftmensch's   blather in 2007?
"In 2007, Obama was asked in a Democratic primary debate what he would do if terrorists launched an attack on US soil, and we knew it was the work of al Qaeda. Although Libya is half a world away, given that the consulate is sovereign US territory, it isn't completely incomparable.
Obama responded thusly:
'Well, the first thing we'd have to do is make sure that we've got an effective emergency response, something that this administration failed to do when we had a hurricane in New Orleans. And I think that we have to review how we operate in the event of not only a natural disaster, but also a terrorist attack.
The second thing is to make sure that we've got good intelligence, A, to find out that we don't have other threats and attacks potentially out there; and B, to find out do we have any intelligence on who might have carried it out so that we can take potentially some action to dismantle that network.
But what we can't do is then alienate the world community based on faulty intelligence, based on bluster and bombast. Instead, the next thing we would have to do, in addition to talking to the American people, is making sure that we are talking to the international community.

500 Admirals, Generals to Endorse Romney

The group will post a full page ad in the Washington Times on Monday. The advertisement will have the headline, “We, the undersigned, proudly support Governor Mitt Romney as our nation’s next President and Commander-in-Chief,” followed by the names of the former military commanders.
The list comes as a Military Times survey revealed that active duty, National Guard, and military reserve members support Romney over Obama by a two to one margin.
