Treason by Barack Obama's Fundraiser?; Islam Take Over Big City Streets; TV AD Legislation; UN Report Skewers America on "Human Rights of Migrants"; Offshore Drilling Regulation

Newsmax writes: President Bill Clinton’s Senior Military Aide Robert “Buzz” Patterson tells Newsmax that a fundraiser and “close acquaintance” of Barack Obama should be prosecuted for treason for aiding America’s enemies.

Patterson, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and best-selling author, also says morale among American forces in Afghanistan is poor and the troops have “absolutely no faith” in their commander-in-chief Obama’s intention of winning the war.

Patterson’s latest book is “Conduct Unbecoming: How Barack Obama Is Destroying the Military and Endangering Our Security.” In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, he was asked why he believes Obama is damaging the military.
Patterson notes that when Obama was running for president, he made Jodie Evans his key fundraiser in California. Evans is co-founder of the radical anti-military group CODEPINK, which raised more than $600,000 for the insurgents fighting U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Paterson was asked if that rises to the level of treason.  “It most definitely does,” he responds.

“Jodie Evans not only raised that money for CODEPINK, but she delivered that money personally to the insurgents who were fighting and killing U.S. Marines in 2005. And Obama did use her as a fundraiser. In fact, she has been a personal guest at the Obama White House since his election, so she’s not just somebody he used as a fundraiser, she is a close acquaintance and she is in my opinion a traitor.

[Who says Rupublicans can't band together with Democrats to pass meaningful legislation?] From Yahoo: WASHINGTON – Legislation to turn down the volume on those loud TV commercials that send couch potatoes diving for their remote controls looks like it'll soon become law.
The Senate unanimously passed a bill late Wednesday to require television stations and cable companies to keep commercials at the same volume as the programs they interrupt.
The House has passed similar legislation. Before it can become law, minor differences between the two versions have to be worked out when Congress returns to Washington after the Nov. 2 election.  http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100930/ap_on_en_tv/us_congress_loud_commercials

Floyd Reports writes: A report issued today by a United Nations agency appears to be a thinly veiled critique of Arizona’s immigration law, one that equates its supporters with “xenophobes and racists.” The Global Migration Group adopted its statement on the “Human Rights of Migrants in Irregular Situation” — that is, illegal aliens — earlier today in Geneva. It criticized unnamed nations for viewing illegal immigrants “through the lens of sovereignty, border security or law enforcement, sometimes driven by hostile domestic constituencies,” and demanded nations endow illegals with “economic, social, and cultural rights,” including “reproductive healthcare.”

The report seems to be the fruition of Barack Obama’s decision to haul the state of Arizona before the UN Human Rights Council over its differences on domestic policy.  http://floydreports.com/?p=2301&utm_source=Expose+Obama&utm_campaign=48db68a5c3-EO_09_30_20109_30_2010&utm_medium=email

American Spectator writes: The Obama administration today imposed new offshore drilling safety regulations, a move needed to end its moratorium on deepwater exploratory drilling, but it gave no indication of when that ban would be lifted.
Instead, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar promised the industry would face a "dynamic regulatory environment" in the weeks and months to come, as his department refines and further tightens its safety and environmental standards for offshore drilling.
In anticipation of this continuing assault, yesterday Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu was quoted saying the following about the Obama administration's War on the Gulf Region, accompanying its War on the West (at the joint hearing on which I was pleased to offer testimony), as quoted by Politico: http://spectator.org/blog/2010/09/30/the-gulfbetween-obama-and-the
