Doom, gloom and despair is growing in the Northeast in the weeks
following Superstorm Sandy, as winter sets in with thousands of New
Yorkers and New Jersey residents still reeling from the loss of their
homes and property.
For many, the despair has grown into an intense anger, as tent cities set up by the
Federal Emergency Management Agency begin to resemble prison camps. Moreover, the aftermath of Sandy is a story the mainstream media is largely ignoring,
unlike Hurricane Katrina.

On September 13, 2012, the Department of Homeland Security
graduated its first class of FEMA Corps first-responders. While the
idea of having a volunteer force of tens of thousands of volunteers
scattered across the country to aid in times of natural disasters sounds
great, the details and timing of this new government army is somewhat curious, if not disturbing.
The second problem with this announcement and program is its timing.
Over the past two years, President Obama has signed a number of
Executive Orders suspending all civil and Constitutional rights and
turning over management of an America under Martial Law to FEMA. Also in
that time, domestic federal agencies under DHS, including FEMA, have
ordered billions of rounds of ammunition as well as the corresponding
firearms. Admittedly, these new weapons and ammunition aren’t to be used
in some far-off war or to fight forest fires in California, but right
here on the streets of America.
Strange Armored Fighting Vehicles:
Individuals around the US have begun reporting the site of strange,
new, heavily-armed FEMA fighting vehicles. What would a disaster relief
agency like FEMA need with 2,500 brand new GLS armored fighting
vehicles? According to the
agency’s own mandate, as well as President Obama’s recent Executive
Order, the answer is ‘population control’ during a time of Martial Law.
["We cannot continue to rely
on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives
that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." - Barack Obama He planned to double the Peace Corps' budget by 2011, and expand AmeriCorps, USA Freedom Corps, VISTA, YouthBuild Program, and the Senior Corps. Plus, he proposes to form a Classroom Corps, Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, Veterans Corps, Homeland Security Corps, Global Energy Corps, and a Green Jobs Corps. Most of this was simply campaign promises he never intended to enact. Here a corps - there a corps - everywhere a corps corps. American asked for another term for Obama, and here he goes fulfilling part of his agenda just one week after the election.]
What is the US federal government preparing for? And why does it feel it
needs an army of brainwashed youth, millions of guns, thousands of
armored fighting vehicles and literally billions of rounds of
ammunition, just to provide relief to the American people during a
natural disaster? Any historian will tell you it sounds more like the
arming of the Hitler Youth than an army of first responders fighting
forest fires and hurricanes. http://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/homeland-security-graduates-first-corps-of-obamas-brown-shirts-homeland-youth/23898/

President Barack Obama’s National Labor Relations Board
(NLRB) is considering a rule that would force private businesses to turn
over their workers’ personal information — such as phone numbers, email
addresses, and work schedules — to union organizers.
While this rule would be intended to make it easier for union bosses
to organize workers at businesses that do not have a union presence, it
would also have the unintended effect of making workers vulnerable to
harassment. http://www.redstate.com/2012/11/15/nlrb-chair-wants-to-force-companies-to-turn-over-employee-telephone-numbers-e-mail-addresses/

[According to Political Outcast, as most employers will cut their work staff in order to stay in business despite the addition of Obamacare taxes, one restaurant owner in West Palm Beach has decided on a different tactic. He will add a 5% surcharge on each diner's bill, stating it is the Obamacare surcharge. Customers will then have two choices: they can either simply pay it and tip as usual, or they will tip a smaller percentage in order to make things square. The servers, who are the primary Obamacare recipients, will be affected by their choice.]

This afternoon, President Barack Obama consulted with MSNBC host Al
Sharpton, who's also associated with the National Action Network (NAN),
about the fiscal talks between the White House and Congress. At the same
meeting, Obama also consulted with other "leaders of civil rights and
civic organizations."
President Obama and Vice President Biden met with leaders
of civil rights and civic organizations to discuss negotiations over
how to avoid the fiscal cliff.
[They are all such towering experts on finance, don't you know. I imagine they might have suggested raising taxes on the "filthy rich" who make $250,000 to 70% and just sending the money directly to those who won't work.] http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-consults-msnbc-host-al-sharpton-and-other-civil-rights-leaders-fiscal-talks_663493.html

In a blockbuster report, John Solomon, the former Associated Press
and Post reporter, has ferreted out the president’s daily brief that
informed him within 72 hours of the Sept. 11 attack that the Benghazi
attack was a jihadist operation.
Citing officials directly familiar with the information, Solomon writes
in the Washington Guardian
that Obama and other administration officials were told that “that the
attack was likely carried out by local militia and other armed
extremists sympathetic to al-Qaida in the region.”
He adds:
The details from the CIA and Pentagon assessments of the
killing of Ambassador Chris [Stevens] were far more specific, more
detailed and more current than the unclassified talking points that UN
Ambassador Susan Rice and other officials used five days after the
attack to suggest to Americans that an unruly mob angry over an
anti-Islamic video was to blame, officials said. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/post/breaking-the-president-knew-the-truth-about-benghazi/2012/11/16/39aecaf0-3034-11e2-9f50-0308e1e75445_blog.html

Despite nearly $16 billion in annual losses announced by the
U.S. Postal Service on Thursday, all but one of the top five executives for the
nation's mail service had an overall compensation increase this year, records show.
Unlike past years, when the
Postal Service’s
politically appointed, bipartisan board of governors awarded executives
lucrative deferred compensation deals and incentive bonuses, this
year’s compensation increases came mostly in the form of pension plan
earnings.

While
some business owners threaten to cut workers’ hours to avoid paying for
their health care, a West Palm Beach, Fla., restaurant owner is going
even further. John Metz said he will add a 5 percent surcharge to
customers’ bills to offset what he said are the increased costs of
Obamacare, along with reducing his employees’ hours.
“If
I leave the prices the same, but say on the menu that there is a 5
percent surcharge for Obamacare, customers have two choices. They can
either pay it and tip 15 or 20 percent, or if they really feel so
inclined, they can reduce the amount of tip they give to the server, who
is the primary beneficiary of Obamacare,” Metz told
The Huffington Post.
