ARE
WE THE SECOND “GREATEST GENERATION”?
I THANK
PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA
One
hundred years from now, history books may proclaim that the year 2012 is the
year when Americans rose up to defeat the creeping liberalism of many decades
to restore the vision of the Founding Fathers; the year that the Silent
Majority finally got involved after seeing their beloved America destroyed by Progressive
policies; by ousting leftist radicals of the 60’s who are now leading our nation in the
office of the President and in his radical appointees.
We
all know that the generation which came together in America to endure the Great
Depression and then went on to defeat the worldwide takeover of Nazism and
Adolph Hitler has been rightfully dubbed by Tom Brokaw as the Greatest
Generation. I’ll add here that this
apparently didn’t make Michelle Obama proud. America lost the many lives of
those in uniform to gain the world’s freedom, and Americans at home came
together to support the war effort. They saved the world.
As
those heroes, both military and families of military, are leaving us through
old age and death, perhaps we can leave those remaining with the solace of
watching a new generation of Americans stepping away from their apathy and
comfort zones to save the world once again. It
would make them proud.
The
election of 2008 gave us a stark choice between a new, hopeful, soaring
candidate whom no one really knew and upon whom we could all project our hopes
for change, versus a Viet Nam
prisoner of war, scarred both by that battle and many battles during his years
in the Senate. There were many citizens who chose to just stay in the comfort of their homes on Election Day
because they didn’t really like either choice.
By
now much information has come to light about just who Barack Hussein Obama is,
the radicals who mentored him during childhood and young adulthood, and his
great dreams of total redistribution of our income, his Total Transformation of America. We’ve learned that he views our country to be
arrogant, no more special than any other country deems itself to be, and a
country which should be brought down to the level of others. His hopeful, naive hand of friendship to our
enemies has proven to only make America weaker against those enemies, his hand
bitten off at the wrist by a Middle East which is rife with violence and
protests against the man they deem to be the worst of Infidels, the one with a
Muslim name who has repeatedly bragged about having killed their hero Osama Bin
Laden. They holler “We are all Osamas, Obama”.
The world is far more dangerous after the last four years of his
stewardship.
We
have witnessed a President who truly believes that when Congress does not give
him what he wants, he has the authority to just write the laws himself via his
many Executive Orders and Regulations which mostly countermand the votes of
Congress and sometimes even his own pen signing a bill into law. Some examples of this would be his recent
refusal to prosecute illegal aliens, even giving up to 1.5 million their work
permits, totally against the votes of Congress.
Other examples are his refusal to uphold the Defense of Marriage Act,
his current preparation of an internet security law, and his recent gutting of
Bill Clinton’s successful program of requiring able Welfare recipients to
either work or prepare themselves for work.
Democrats,
liberals and Progressives had two years in control of both houses of Congress under
Obama, so claims that the President didn’t fulfill his promises because of
those rascally Republicans fall flat, for during that time all he was working
on was a government controlled health care system which is intended to
gradually create a single payer system such as Canada’s or Great Britain’s, a
system broadly disliked by Americans. The
many promises of our President regarding the cost of Obamacare and our ability
to keep our doctors and our current insurance have proven to be empty
words. Republicans cannot be blamed for
the fact that Obama’s budget plan was defeated in the Democrat Senate 100-0. Repeated bills offered by the Republican
House were never allowed to be voted upon in the Senate, while the Senate has
not produced it’s Constitutionally mandated budget for more than three years.
We
have witnessed this President’s silence when hateful, untrue, divisive and
inciting descriptions of Republicans and the Tea Party are spoken. This is not surprising since this President
is the leader of efforts to pit one American against another, one group against
others. In fact he once declared that
Democrats and Hispanics must “punish their enemies and reward their friends”,
speaking not of the world stage but of those in America who don’t agree with his
agenda.
Now
we Americans have the opportunity to end the ongoing efforts to rewrite not
only duly passed laws, but the planned rewriting of our very Constitution. We have the opportunity to turn back the
heavy hand of government, the favoritism shown by this Administration to his
donors and to unions, and Democrats’ plans to punish further the successes of those
who create businesses and provide jobs.
Mitt
Romney is a decent man who pays his taxes as Congress has written the laws, has
provided many thousands of jobs through his investments in companies, has held
two big jobs for which he took no income (donating $1 million to the Olympics
and also donating his $1.4 million in salary when he was CEO of the Olympics,
and then taking no salary at all when Governor of Massachusetts) and he donates
far more to charity than most could imagine. He has quietly assisted those around him who
needed it. He possesses all the
characteristics and morals of a man who, with reverence for America’s history, its Constitution
and its best values, should occupy the White House.
I
shall be voting for Mitt Romney because among other things he holds beliefs,
principles and values consistent with what has made this country the light of
the world. He has proven experience in
both the private sector and government and has spoken of his belief in the
goodness and greatness of America,
the real challenges which we face, and his deep love of our country and way of
life. The top 10% of wage earners in America are now
paying 70% of all income taxes, while 47% pay no income tax at all. Mitt Romney is not attempting to further “redistribute
income just to make it fair” as does Obama (even after being told it would
decrease government revenues), for he knows that beyond a certain point high
taxation changes the actions of those who are having their money confiscated,
resulting in less revenue to the government. While conferring high value on those who do
build a business, he seeks to raise the poor into the middle class and to raise
the middle class into greater success, as has been the long tradition of America. It
would appear that the current President is aiming to put as many Americans on
government dependence as he possibly can, just as in 1997 he declared those
“folks” to be the perfect majority base
for getting a progressive agenda passed and Democrats elected. Mitt Romney seeks to bring Americans together
instead of driving them apart in envy and hatred.
So I
thank President Obama for clarifying for us just what needs to be
done. Become active for these last few days, spread the truth, do
some phone banking, and encourage others to vote! To all of those who stayed home in 2008
because you could not vote for John McCain – get out of your chairs and be part
of history! Don’t miss the chance to
say, “I helped do that!” Vote for Mitt
Romney! Become part of the Second
Greatest Generation!

Documents obtained by former Muslim Brotherhood member Walid Shoebat reportedly demonstrate the Obama administration is to blame for the deaths of Americans in the Benghazi consulate attack because it effectively empowered the Islamic terrorist organization al-Qaida to take over governance of Libya.
Shoebat reports a group of anti-al-Qaida Libyans in exile have come into possession of some highly classified documents that, in their view, “will bring the Obama Administration down.”

Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta announced on Sunday that General Carter Ham Commander of GOC Africa Command (Africom), headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. (U.S. Africa Command is one of six unified geographic commands within the Department of Defense unified command structure.) for refusing to obey orders not to assist the US personnel in Benghazi on the night of September 11. Army General David Rodriguez has been appointed by President Obama to become replace him.
Gen. Ham refused to take responsibility for the decision not to provide essential air coverage and other support for the beleaguered personnel at the Consulate.
