ELECTION DAY!

Above is Dr. Dan Benishek, at the Take Back America Rally in Petoskey, Michigan.

Following are my endorsements for the elections of the following candidates:
Dan Benishek, for the US House of Representatives
Greg MacMaster, for the State Representative.
Howard Walker for the State Senate.
Rick Snyder for Michigan Governor/Brian Calley for Lieutenant Governor
Ruth Johnson for Secretary of State (George Soros has used his money to target her and other Republican candidates in important states, so that Democrats will be the ones in charge to count votes in close state elections.  As Stalin once said, it is not the voters who matter, but the ones who count the vote.)
Bill Schuette for Attorney General
Mary Beth Kelly for Supreme Court
Bob Young for Supreme Court

Go forth and make your vote count!  Be sure to be part of history!

Be sure when you vote to turn the election ballot over in order to vote for other candidates and for or against several initiatives.  You will choose whether or not you want to go to the expense of holding a state Constitutional Convention, and whether you wish for convicted felons to be able to run for public office (no, I'm not kidding!)

Need another reason to vote?  How about this from the LA Times?

If the GOP wins control of the House next week, senior congressional Republicans plan to launch a blistering attack on the Obama administration's environmental policies, as well as on scientists who link air pollution to climate change.

The GOP's fire will be concentrated especially on the administration's efforts to use the Environmental Protection Agency's authority over air pollution to tighten emissions controls on coal, oil and other carbon fuels that scientists say contribute to global warming.

The attack, according to senior Republicans, will seek to portray the EPA as abusing its authority and damaging the economy with needless government regulations.
In addition, GOP leaders say, they will focus on what they see as distortions of scientific evidence regarding climate change and on Obama administration efforts to achieve by executive rule-making what it failed to win from Congress.  Also, Obama could use his veto power.

But the GOP's plans for wide-ranging and sustained investigations by congressional committees could put the EPA and administration environmental policymakers on the defensive and create political pressures that could cause Obama to pull back on environmental issues as the 2012 presidential election draws closer. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-epa-battle-ahead-20101030,0,6040861.story

Breitbart reports that: the United States will come under the spotlight at the UN's top human rights assembly's for the first time over the coming week along with other countries that face scrutiny by the Human Rights Council.
Some 300 US civil liberties and community groups in the US Human Rights Network on Monday called on the Obama administration to bring "substandard human rights practices" in the United States into line with international standards.
The United States only agreed to join the Council in May 2009, after the Bush administration had shunned the body which replaced its similar though discredited predecessor, the UN human rights commission, in 2006.

The Network produced a 400-page report criticising "glaring inadequacies in the United States human rights record," including the "discriminatory impact" of foreclosures, "widespread" racial profiling and "draconian" immigration policies.
[And here we thought that things such as government beheading, killings, imprisonment, intentional starvation, stoneings to death, no freedom of speech and the like were what constitutes human rights violations]
"Advocates across America have not only documented substandard human rights practices which have persisted in the US for years, but also those that reflect the precipitous erosion of human rights protections in the US since 9/11," said Sarah Paoletti of the Network.
The United States has also faced widespread criticism by UN rights monitors in recent years over its handling of terror suspects and suspected torture, while concern over the conduct of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has been revived in recent months with "Wikileak" reports on leaked confidential documents.  http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=CNG.3fda6adee976b3a33a4faade5f6c18cd.fb1&show_article=1

Washington (CNN) -- The number of Americans who say things are going badly in the country, at 75 percent, is higher than it has been on the eve of any midterm election since the question was first asked in the mid-1970s, according to a new national poll.

You know what you need to do - now do it!   :)

  1. Please verify your claim that George Soros is funding the other side in the Sec. of State race. The claim has been made but no one has ever been able to offer any proof.

  2. It was revealed during a panel discussion at the Democratic Party's convention last year that the Democracy Alliance, a financial clearinghouse created by Soros and Progressive insurance magnate Peter B. Lewis, approved the Secretary of State Project as a grantee. The Democracy Alliance aspires to create a permanent political infrastructure of nonprofits, think tanks, media outlets, leadership schools, and activist groups -- a kind of "vast left-wing conspiracy" to compete with the conservative movement. It has brokered more than $100 million in grants to liberal nonprofits, including ACORN.

After heavy criticism, Jocelyn Benson attempted to distance herself last week from George Soros and the Secretary of State's project by refunding portions of their initial contribution. One of Benson's initial contributions in 2009 was the $3,250 contribution from George Soros's Secretary of State Project out of Santa Cruz, California. The Secretary of State Project endorsed Benson partially due to her support of same-day registration and opposition to photo ID laws.

Benson has received over $146,000 from out-of-state liberal special interests including the $3,250 contribution by Soros's Secretary of State Project. http://www.rj4mi.com/readarticle.asp?id=45

Where is there ANY proof that America's Chambers of Commerce have used foreign donations for political advantage?
"The White House is intensifying its attacks on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce over alleged ties to foreign donors - something the chamber adamantly denies. A New York Times piece over the weekend put it this way: "There is little evidence that what the chamber does in collecting overseas dues is improper or even unusual."

"Will President Obama and surrogates succeed in essentially trying to make the opposition prove a negative? Will complaining about the other side's financial advantage and sources of campaign cash resonate with voters over the next three weeks?" http://www.politico.com/arena/archive/obamas-chamber-attacks---will-voters-care.html

  4. On that we can all agree! We probably won't agree on the character of some specific voters, however....
