The Health Care Bill

We’re the baddest of the bad
The cool of the cool
I’m Barack
I rock and rule.

These lyrics? They are part of about 10 more love songs to our new President, made and produced by various schools across this country....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I said to him, "Barack, I know Abe Lincoln, and you ain't Abe Lincoln."

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the
brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

......Abraham Lincoln

From the Wall St. Journal comes the "other side of the story" regarding President Obam's statement that the AMA endorses his health care plan. "Unmentioned by Mr. Obama was that 20 other physician groups came out against his health-care takeover yesterday, which they wrote "will threaten patient access and harm quality." Led by the American College of Surgeons, these doctors argued the Senate's bill "will do little to fix" health care's "underlying problems, and may make them worse." The letter was signed by groups representing neurological and orthopaedic surgeons, urologists, anesthesiologists, gynecological oncologists and others." In fact, only about 17% of America's doctors choose to be members of the AMA.

The Weekly Standard reports that: On September 24, Speaker Nancy Pelosi told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that she was "absolutely" committed to putting the text of the final House bill online for 72 hours before the House votes:

TWS: Madam Speaker, do you support the measure to put the final House bill online for 72 hours before it's voted on at the very end?

PELOSI: Absolutely. Without question.

But tonight, when asked if Speaker Pelosi will leave the bill online for 72 hours after we see what's in the rule, Pelosi spokesman Brendan Daly replied in an email: "No; [the] pledge was to have manager’s amendment online for 72 hours, and we will do that."

Apparently Pelosi's agreement to leave the "final" bill online "at the very end" of the process wasn't such a straightforward pledge. [What a shock....]

SEIU and the President

Are we on the way out of the dark tunnel on this election day?

Leadership: What are we to make of a White House visitors list that includes 22 swiftly scheduled appointments with a union boss at a time when Gen. Stanley McChrystal can't get face time with the commander in chief? This is a good question from Investors Business Daily. They add that: it didn't intend to make this easy. Instead of just releasing all the logs, the White House released only a partial list. It asked the media and public to play a guessing game of "name that visitor." If an inquiry was made and the White House had a record, it would be confirmed.

The list reveals visits from activists, left-wing foundations, the feminist lobby, union bosses and noted anti-capitalists whose ideas would put the U.S. economy into the ground. The list also shows the White House had little exposure to policymakers on the frontlines of some of the most important decisions the president must make.

In the former category, there's Service Employees International Union boss Andy Stern, who told the Wall Street Journal that if the power of persuasion didn't work, then the persuasion of power would have to do. The records show Stern had 22 meetings, many face-to-face with the president, more than anyone else known so far. Stern might as well borrow a White House bedroom.

“The persuasion of power” - from Michelle Malkin's book:

Asked about his organizing philosophy, Andy Stern summed it up this way: “[W]e prefer to use the power of persuasion, but if that doesn’t work we use the persuasion of power.”

Stern and his shock troops have bullied companies from private equity firms to Burger King to food management company Aramark, who have resisted SEIU’s attempts to organizer their workers.

Big Hollywood reports that the indoctrination of our children starts early and insidiously [my words]. "Add one more soldier to the Left’s war on Fox News: Oscar the Grouch. Last week, in a re-broadcast of an episode that originally aired two years ago, Oscar starts his own news network, GNN (Grouchy News Network). An irate viewer calls in to berate him that the news is not grouchy enough: “I am changing the channel. From now on I am watching ‘Pox’ News. Now there is a trashy news show.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rich Lowry reports that "in his first year in office, Barack Obama has visited more foreign countries than any other president. He has touched ground in 16 countries, easily outpacing Bill Clinton (three) and George W. Bush (11). It's an itinerary befitting a "citizen of the world." But there's one stop Obama won't make: He has begged off going to Berlin next week to attend ceremonies commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall".

Immigration and Amnesty

As Lucianne Goldberg stated: Voters showed they weren't racists last November. This
November they show they aren't socialist.

As we've known, one of the next shoes to fall in the Democrat attempt to control our country is the bill on immigration. Even CNN's Lou Dobbs agrees with the put-down by Republican John Boehner, for the bill contains the following provisions:
1) Illegals will get legal status within 24 hours of application, even if the background check is not yet done
2)We citizens will pay for the attorneys who are assisting the illegals
3) Z Visas will be temporary, but can be renewed indefinitely
4) Amnesty will be given even to gang members if they only say they don't want to be in a gang any longer
5) No back taxes will be assessed
6) We will pay to Mexico a large amount of our money, to make it more inviting for Mexicans to stay in Mexico
7) Our 800 mile border fence will be cut to 200 miles
8) Illegals will be allowed to pay instate tuition at our colleges
9) These illegals will cut into line in front of those who have been waiting many years to do it legally
10) Amnesty will be given to those who have at least once been kicked out of our country and have reentered - illegally
11) English will not be required for 9 years
12) These now-illegals will receive earned income credit, though they will not be assessed back taxes
All of this will effectively shut down our court system, effectively opening the door of our country even wider. Should this bill not be called the I'll Vote Democrat Forever Bill? Never mind the harm it would do to our country and what we stand for. This information has been available for many months. It's nice that Lou Dobbs finally found it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fox News reports: In its latest attempt to portray Democrats' reform package as an unwieldy expansion of federal government in the health care sector, the House Republican Conference circulated what it called a list of ''new boards, bureaucracies, commissions and programs' created in the House health care bill. House Republicans claimed Monday that the health care reform bill pushed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi would create a whopping 111 new ''federal bureaucracies.''

The Democrats give them a new name: ''demonstration projects.
Among some of the new agencies, the list cites a Health Insurance Exchange; the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation; the Public Health Investment Fund; the Public Health Workforce Corps; an Assistant Secretary for Health Information; the Food and Drug Administration Office of Women's Health; grant programs for alternative medical liability laws, infant mortality programs and other issues; and about 100 other government-sponsored creations.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More than 10,000 people turned out Monday night for a North Houston Tea Party Patriots gathering. As you may know, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota has invited concerned citizens to gather at the Capitol this Thursday to meet their government representatives face-to-face. Indications are that many more than anticipated are leaving their homes and jobs in order to go to Washington to stop this health care bill from passing.
“The American people spoke loud and clear at town hall meetings all across the country throughout August. But, it would appear that Congress didn’t hear a word they had to say. The Democrats’ latest health care proposal unveiled late last week may be packaged a little differently, but it’s the same old bad bill as before. “I urge all Americans to come to Washington this Thursday. Come and meet up with your Representative and tell them that you want to control your health care.”
Why is this important? Well, for an example, notice this quote:

"We are going to have to, if you're very old, we're not going to give you all that technology and all those drugs for the last couple of years of your life to keep you maybe going for another couple of months. It's too expensive, so we're going to let you die."

We have been hearing of the Democrats' newest scheme, opting-out provisions for states. As Ann Coulter states:

The most important fact about the "opt out" scheme allegedly allowing states to decline government health insurance is that a state can't "opt out" of paying for it. All 50 states will pay for it. A state legislature can only opt out of allowing its own citizens to receive the benefits of a federal program they're paying for.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Latest news is that with a covert raise in income tax from 35% to 45%, the "millionaire" tax, the deletion of Bush's tax cuts, the state taxes, the health care taxes, et al, the top tax rate will maybe go from the current 35% to 60%. I will assume here that, as in the state of New York, which has seen their tax revenues plummet following the raise in taxes there, many Americans will stop working so hard and/or will retire to keep from donating so much to those who won't work.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deputy Director of the Office of Public Engagement, Buffy Wicks, is now aiding the Obama Administration in "calling out" what data they don't want to be aired by way to tv ads, etc. In other words, they will be threatening action against those who do so.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Weekly Standard reports: as 60 Minutes reported last week, Medicare fraud is rampant and has now replaced the cocaine (ahem) business as the major criminal activity in South Florida. Both 60 Minutes and the Washington Post report that Medicare fraud now costs American taxpayers roughly $60 billion a year. That may sound like a lot of money, but surely it pales next to the extraordinary profits of private insurance companies, right? Well, let's see....Well, let's see.... Last year, the profits of the ten largest insurance companies in America were just over $8 billion -- combined. No single insurance company made even five percent of what Medicare reportedly loses in fraud.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

House Minority Leader John Boehner and other Republicans asked the Joint Economic Committee to draw up another chart the ObamaCare Chart.

To the average American, it looks like a maze that they'll have to navigate before receiving medical care. AND IT IS -- the parts in white already exist, and the colored boxes are the new entities, offices, requirements, reports, and subsidies the Democrats' bill would create.

Mike Adams, a college professor and columnist writes that :Glenn Beck gets it. He understands something I’ve been seeing and writing about as a columnist for the last seven years. He understands that the downfall of America will not come from the outside. It will come from the inside. It will happen because we failed to pass on to our children the values that made our nation great – and to remind them to pass those values on to their children.

America is More Conservative Now

F
or the first time in the Obama presidency - according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll conducted Oct. 22-25, fifty-two percent say the country is on the wrong track compared to 36 percent who say it is headed in the right direction.
----------------------------------------------------------
As reported by the UK Telegraph, this week’s striking Gallup poll on political ideology is further confirmation that the United States is in essence a conservative nation, which has ironically become even more conservative under Barack Obama. According to Gallup, 40 percent of Americans describe their political views as conservative, 36 percent as moderate and 20 percent as liberal. This is the first time conservatives have outnumbered moderates in America since 2004.

"I'm going to have all the negotiations around a big table. We'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies."

— Barack Obama, August, 2008
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CBS's "60 Minutes" ran a not-to-be-missed expose of something that the Center for Health Transformation has been warning about for months: The unbelievable amount of fraud taxpayers are footing the bill for in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. And now, if the Democrats have their way, the government will be giving even more of our money to those who defraud.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And isn't this a twisted logic? Nancy Pelosi, when asked about the increase in taxes that will result from the loss of the "Bush" tax cuts upon their expiration date, stated that it will not be a tax increase, "it is the elimination of a tax decrease that was there". So - that won't result in a tax increase, Ms. Pelosi? Just asking.....

Just as more evidence is being presented that William Ayers, not Barack Obama, is most likely the author of Dreams From My Father, the Obama hand picked PResident of the National Endowment for the Arts has declared Obama to be the most powerful writer since Julius Caesar, and the only President since Teddy Roosevelt to actually write his own books. The jury is out, I believe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thomas Sowell, a premier writer and thinker of our times (who happens to be black), and one of my personal favorites, has written an article titled "Dismantling of America" He ends with these words: "Nothing so epitomizes President Obama's own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year-- each bill more than a thousand pages long-- too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question-- and the biggest question for this generation".

Government and Gardasil

It's getting plain scary! Here's a look at just one government-pushed health care plan and how it has worked:

Regarding the government push (and consequent propping up of sales to Merck) to vaccinate our girls against HPV to keep them safer while having sex [ is that what we want?], it has been reported by Merck's own doctor that "To date, 15,037 girls have officially reported adverse side effects from Gardasil to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). These adverse effects include Guilliane Barre, lupus, seizures, paralysis, blood clots, brain inflammation and many others. The CDC acknowledges that there have been 44 reported deaths."
Merck's Dr. Harper has stated that a girl is more likely to die from an adverse reaction to Gardasil than from cervical cancer.
One thing we know about Gardasil is that each three-dose treatment costs $360, which has helped Merck a lot.
26 million vaccinations after its debut, Gardasil will have no effect on the rate of cervical cancer in the U.S. HPV, the infection that Gardasil can prevent, is rare, usually heals itself, and testing and treatment in the U.S. are very effective in keeping cervical cancer a rare event.

rom DKTV: Transcript: From Barack Obama: "Now, to the non-Democrats who may be watching today -– (laughter) -– I want everybody to know we believe in a strong and loyal opposition. I believe in a two-party system where ideas are tested and assumptions are challenged — because that’s how we can move this country forward. But what I reject is when some folks decide to sit on the sidelines and root for failure on health care or on energy or on our economy. (Applause.) What I reject is when some folks say we should go back to the past policies when it was those very same policies that got us into this mess in the first place. (Applause.)" "Another way of putting it is when, you know, I’m busy and Nancy’s busy with our mop cleaning up somebody else’s mess –- we don’t want somebody sitting back saying, you’re not holding the mop the right way. (Applause.) Why don’t you grab a mop, why don’t you help clean up. (Applause.) You’re not mopping fast enough. (Laughter.) That’s a socialist mop. (Laughter and applause.) Grab a mop –- let’s get to work." [ The disingenuousness and duplicity of this man and this speech boggles my mind..... We really can't believe a thing he says...... Just as one for instance, if he believe in a strong and loyal opposition where ideas are tested and assumptions are challenged, just why is he trying to destroy Fox News? And just when will he be made to take responsibility for all his own actions?]

Pay Czar and Opinionated Democrats

Deborah Soloman of the Wall St. Journal writes:
The U.S. pay czar will slash compensation for the 25 highest-paid employees at seven firms receiving large sums of government aid and demand a host of corporate-governance changes at those firms, according to people familiar with the matter. Kenneth Feinberg, the Treasury Department's special master for compensation, will lower total compensation for 175 employees by an average of 50%, these people said. As expected, the biggest cut will be to salaries, which will drop 90% on average. But while the overall levels will fall, some executives will still walk away with large paychecks. For instance, several Bank of America Corp. employees will still receive compensation totaling millions of dollars. At the same time, Mr. Feinberg will demand a series of corporate-governance changes at the firms, including splitting the positions of chairman and chief executive officer; requiring boards of directors to create a committee to assess risk, and eliminating staggered boards.

Some of the toughest pay restrictions will come at the financial-products unit of American International Group Inc., which has been blamed for the firm's near-collapse. No employee within that unit will receive compensation of more than $200,000, people familiar with the matter said.

The companies under Mr. Feinberg's authority are AIG, Bank of America, Citigroup, General Motors Co., GMAC Inc., Chrysler Group LLC and Chrysler Financial.

For several weeks, Mr. Geithner himself was making decisions such as whether a certain employee could collect a pension payment.

The White House has attempted to further prevent Fox News' access to the White House by declaring that of the five networks who actually pay for press conferences, only four of them were to be allowed to interview Executive Pay Czar Ken Feinberg. Fox News was prohibited. In a move to make all America proud, and also to keep themselves from being Obama's next target, the other four networks said that either all five networks would have the interview, or there would be no interview! The White House caved....

"Democrats are an opinionated bunch. You know, the other side, they just kinda sometimes do what they're told. Democrats, y'all thinkin' for yourselves." Barack Hussein Obama

I feel personally offended by this, as I, as well as all good Tea Partyers, do think for myself. I was one of the first to write to the snitch line of Obama to turn in a "fishy" statement on the health care bill - Barack Hussein Obama's descriptions of the bill. I haven't heard back from him as yet.

“What we’re going to do is we’re going to be pragmatic instead of ideological. We are going to try to bring people together rather than push them apart. We are going to make sure that we listen to other people’s ideas.”

DON'T WE HAVE A CONSTITUTION THAT WAS WRITTEN TO PREVENT TYRANNY BY OUR GOVERNMENT? This action sets up future controls on all American businesses and boards, already being discussed by some.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Recent analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office clearly demonstrates the incredible fiscal irresponsibility being exhibited by this Congress. According to their studies, the federal government ran a $1.4 trillion deficit through the first 11 months of FY 2009 and the national debt now stands at $11.77 trillion, a $3.1 trillion or 35.8% increase since Democrats took control of Congress in 2007. To get an indication of how dramatically this administration has changed our government’s spending habits; take a look below at the surplus/deficit figures over the period 2001-2010.

Here's an interesting quote from Ron Bloom, Obama's Car Czar: “Generally speaking we get the joke. We know that the free market is nonsense. We know that the whole point is to game the system, to beat the market, or at least find someone who will pay you a lot of money because they’re convinced that there is a free lunch. We know this is largely about power, that it’s an adults only, no limit game. We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun. And we get it that if you want a friend, you should get a dog.”

Health Insurance, Fox News, and the Pay Czar

Susan Crabtree reports that "Rep. Edolphus Towns (D-N.Y.) locked Republicans out of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee room to keep them from meeting when Democrats aren’t present.

Towns’ action came after repeated public ridicule from the leading Republican on the committee, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), over Towns’s failure to launch an investigation into Countrywide Mortgage’s reported sweetheart deals to VIPs [as in Senator Chris Dodd, among others].
For months Towns has refused Republican requests to subpoena records in the case. Last Thursday Committee Republicans, led by Issa, were poised to force an open vote on the subpoenas at a Committee mark-up meeting. The mark-up was abruptly canceled. Only Republicans showed up while Democrats chairs remained empty. Issa’s spokesman said the Democrats readily acknowledged to Republicans that they changed the locks in retaliation to the videotape of the Democrats’ absence from the business meeting even though committee rules allow meetings to be taped".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
House Democrats are looking at re-branding the public health insurance option as Medicare, an established government health care program that is better known than the public option. Well, isn't that just a great idea? The government which has run Medicare into near bankruptcy wishes to provide care to 30 million more citizens...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike Barone clearly describes the current health care mess concerning the insurance companies - and the reason the White House reacts as it does. He wrote: "The health insurance companies were on board, too. Until, that is, Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus presented his bill requiring them to cover anyone who applies but exacting only small fines from healthy individuals who decide not to buy insurance until they get sick. Since this looked like a quick road to bankruptcy, the health insurers' lobby commissioned a study that pointed out, correctly I think, that the Baucus bill would increase the cost of insurance to those who already have it.
So the health insurers have been denounced by White House spokesmen and Democratic congressional leaders as foul fiends and gougers of working families. Prominent Democrats have been talking about revoking insurance companies' exemption from the antitrust laws (granted so that small firms would have access to data needed to compete with the giants). Translated into Chicagoese: Nice little insurance company you got there. Too bad if something happened to it.
The same treatment is being given to Fox News, which according to White House spokesmen, "is not a news organization." "Other news organizations, like yours," Obama consigliere David Axelrod told ABC News, "ought not to treat them that way."
Maybe Obama thought everyone in Washington would be his great friend. Having encountered un-Chicago-like dissent and disagreement, he has responded with classic Chicago brass knuckles. We'll see how far this kind of thuggery gets him".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Mark Tapscott: [In a meeting with several doctors groups, the doctors were told] If the doctors would drop their demand for medical malpractice lawsuit reforms and support Obamacare, Reid would quickly move the $247 billion bill to spare them from scheduled cuts in Medicare reimbursement.

And if the doctors refuse?"Without the freeze, doctors would see their Medicare payments drop by 21 percent next year and by 40 percent by 2016," according to the Hill. Cuts of that magnitude would force many doctors to stop treating Medicare patients, and push others to retire early or stop practicing medicine entirely.

That makes the headline of today by Robert Pear even more interesting: Democrats lost a big test vote on health care legislation on Wednesday as the Senate blocked action on a bill to increase Medicare payments to doctors at a cost of $247 billion over 10 years. The Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, Democrat of Nevada, needed 60 votes to proceed. He won only 47. And he could not blame Republicans. A dozen Democrats and one independent crossed party lines and voted with Republicans.

"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control" so stated White House Communications Director Anita Dunn. [Yet another Obama minion has fully described her usefulness to this Administration..... Ms. Dunn made the statement back in January while a participant at the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development conference in the Dominican Republic.
She was describing the "program" they used during the election campaign of Obama....
Yes, this is the same Anita Dunn who pronounced to a graduating class of high school students that Mao is one of her favorite philosophers, the Mao who murdered 70 million people. Since a high school education is not what it once was, I wonder if the students actually know the dark side of Mao, as Dunn quoted him as saying, "You fight your war, I'll fight mine". His philosophy was successful, but the full story should have been told. As it stands, those students must think that she admires all about Mao.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And from New Zealand: The eco-pawprint of a pet dog is twice that of a 4.6-litre Land Cruiser driven 10,000 kilometres a year, researchers have found. Victoria University professors Brenda and Robert Vale, architects who specialize in sustainable living, say pet owners should swap cats and dogs for creatures they can eat, such as chickens or rabbits, in their provocative new book Time to Eat the Dog: The real guide to sustainable living. [Can government intervention be far behind?]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Washington Times reports: The White House has told Congress it will reject calls for many of President Obama's policy czars to testify before Congress - a decision senators said goes against the president's promises of transparency and openness and treads on Congress' constitutional mandate to investigate the administration's actions.

Sen. Susan Collins, Maine Republican, said White House counsel Greg Craig told her in a meeting Wednesday that they will not make available any of the czars who work in the White House and don't have to go through Senate confirmation. She said he was "murky" on whether other czars outside of the White House would be allowed to come before Congress.

Miss Collins said that doesn't make sense when some of those czars are actually making policy or negotiating on behalf of Mr. Obama.

"I think Congress should be able to call the president's climate czar, Carol Browner, the energy and environment czar, to ask her about the negotiations she conducted with the automobile industry that led to very significant policy changes with regard to emissions standards," Miss Collins said at a hearing Thursday that examined the proliferation of czars.

In a letter last week to Miss Collins, though, Mr. Craig explained that the White House is not trying to circumvent Congress.

"We recognize that it is theoretically possible that a president could create new positions that inhibit transparency or undermine congressional oversight. That is simply not the case, however, in the current administration," Mr. Craig wrote.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

News Alert!

As I reported earlier: an aide to Sen. Harry Reid said that current debates may be irrelevant because an entirely different version might be inserted into an unrelated House tax bill, HR 1586. That’s the measure that levies a 90 percent tax on bonuses given to executives of firms that receive bailout money. Among other things, this could be a way of getting around the constitutional requirement that all tax bills originate in the House.

Now we learn that hidden in the bill is the wording that the government can step in to dictate salaries and taxes for ANY American company which "poses a threat" to the financial health of America.

More Government Shenanigans

Ben Shapiro writes, in part: Obama's belief in America's unexceptionalism -- his view that America's government, not her people, is the formative force in her values; his view that the American people bear the stain of racial, sexual and military guilt; his view that America must abandon her scrupulous adherence to equality of opportunity in favor of equality of result, traditional morals in favor of alternative ethics, and liberty of enterprise in favor of redistributionism -- that set of beliefs is antithetical to what makes America great.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anita Dunn, the White House spokesperson actually put in charge, salary and all, of watching Fox News all day long, had a bad day recently, as reported by Glenn Beck. After accusing Fox News of unfair reporting, a watchdog found out that Anita happens to be a fan of Chairman Mao -- who happens to be a fan of killing tens of millions of people. Glenn plays the audio of Anita as she talks to a class of graduating high school students about her 'favorite political philosopher' and the life lessons they can take from him. [After the exposure of her admiration of Mao, Anita has tried to make us believe that she was using irony in her speech. Watch the UTube video to come to your own conclusion. She, by the way, is the spouse of one of Obama's lawyers.... Anita has been unwilling or unable to call Glenn's red phone to point out just what she thinks is a lie].
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Terry Jeffrey: The most revelatory passage in the so-called "plain English" version of the health care bill that the Senate Finance Committee approved on Tuesday (without ever drafting the actual legislative language) says that in the future Americans will be offered the convenience of getting their health insurance at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

This is no joke. If this bill becomes law, it will be the duty of the U.S. secretary of health and human services or the state governments overseeing federally mandated health-insurance exchanges to ensure that you can get your health insurance at the DMV.

You will also be able to get it at Social Security offices, hospitals, schools and "other offices" the government will name later.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jillian Bandes points out that: Members of Congress can choose from five different health care plans, while forcing the rest of us onto their government plan, and have access to both the VIP Bethesda Naval Hospital and a reserved spot Ward 72 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, an elite division usually reserved for military members. Their everyday medical concerns can be taken care of at a doctors office located inside of Congress. Their premiums are the same as those of insurance plans with half the benefits, and the plans last til their Medicare begins.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dick Morris informs us that :If your household income is $66,000 a year, slightly above the national average, Obama’s health care bill will require you to spend 12 percent of your income -- about $8,000 a year or almost $700 a month -- to buy health insurance before you get any federal subsidy.

Even those making less will have to reach deep into their meager resources to satisfy Obama’s statutory requirement. Families scraping by on only $44,0000 a year will have to pay 7 percent of their income (about $3,000) on insurance. Even those making just $33,000 will have to ante up 4.5 percent of their income (about $1,500) for health insurance. Even those making just $33,000 will have to ante up 4.5 percent of their income (about $1,500) for health insurance. The required payments reach so far down the scale that those who are living at the federal poverty level of $22,000 will have to shell out 2 percent of their totally inadequate incomes ($440) for insurance. That Obama is charging premiums to those living at or on the border of poverty is absolutely incredible!

What the Republicans in Congress Should Be Doing!

OPEN LETTER TO MICHAEL STEELE AND THE REPUBLICAN
NATIONAL COMMITTEE

On the first page of your website you have a section
that says something to the effect, “tell me what you
think.” OK, here it is: How much longer do “we the people” have to sit out here and
wait for you to do something? Where is your voice? Where is your spine? Why
does a talk show host/entertainer have to do your job? Where is the
leadership of the Republican Party in Congress?

If the United States of America survives past 2009 it
will certainly not be because the RNC and the congressional
leadership stood firm and held news conferences and produced youtube videos,
to keep us, the citizenry informed. What a sad state of affairs when the
media controls what we get to hear from you, the elected officials. Are you
fearful of what they will call you? Have you no power? Do they own you?

The grassroots have been fighting since April to voice our opposition to what is
happening in our government. We have held tea parties, town halls, rants in
public places, we have all become proficient on facebook, twitter, blogs,
etc. We stay up most nights trying to google information, watch Glen Beck, read
and re-read our constitution. We have been like blind people trying to put
a puzzle together and now that we are succeeding in seeing what is being done to
us, it’s a frightening thing. I can only speak for myself but there
have been times in the last six months that I have to pinch myself and ask if I am
still in my country.

We have spent time calling, writing, emailing, petitioning
our elected officials and we are called un-American, terrorists, mobs,
dangerous, right-wing extremists, kooks, etc. I don’t hear national voices
calling the main stream media to task for attacking us. I have only heard of one
congressman who is going to the Library of Congress before the session begins
to look up information on “redressing of grievances”. Why hasn’t
the entire Republican congress called a meeting to ask the same thing?

We begged the Republicans to stop cap and trade and they did not. I
can’t believe that any thinking person would even be talking about trying to pass
something as heinous as HR 3200. When I hear a Republican, especially McCain
talk about tweaking the bill and then passing it, I want to scream! What could
these people be thinking. The only thing that could help this bill is for it to be
flushed!

Do you watch television? Do you watch Fox News? Do you watch Glen
Beck? I’m appalled that there has not been a movement from the Republican
Party to impeach this man who is living in our Whitehouse. Don’t even try to tell
me that we can’t do that. We must impeach him. Are you aware that Van Jones,
the green job czar, whose organization, the Apollo Alliance wrote the stimulus
bill and is receiving tax dollars to dismantle our country? Van Jones is a
self-avowed communist! Those are his words. This man is an advisor to the
President? How can that happen? How can any elected official stand by and let this
happen? Who is representing us?

What about Cass Sunstein? This man is a fascist nut. Yes, I did say fascist.

I’m sick of not being able to speak truths because we’re fearful of not being politically correct... Guess what? We are out of the p.c. closet. Sunstein is a proponent of the ‘nudge’
philosophy - Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness. Our
decisions, our health, our wealth and our happiness. No thank you. This man thinks
animals should have the right to take people to court??? This is not a fairy tale.

Now we hear that our internet may be taken from us through legislation.
SB 773. Will this be carried out through martial law? I have not heard one
Republican official say that they are not going to allow this to happen.

Are all the conspiracy theorists correct when they say that the Republicans are
just as instrumental in destroying our country as the liberal fascist arm of the
Democratic Party are?

The President is destroying the United States of America
... If a Russian Professor can see it, and write articles about it,
why can’t you? What do we need to do to start the impeachment process? I could
list numerous other things that he has done that I believe are in direct
opposition to our constitution but I don’t have the time or the space. You
could contact Glen Beck, he will fill you in.

I am going to put this letter on Facebook, Twitter, blogs; I’m going to email it to every address I can get my hands on. I will send it as a press release to every media outlet I can think of and who knows, maybe one or two will print it. I’m going to send it to talk shows and I’m also going to email it to you. I certainly hope I receive an answer and if I
do, I will also send that out to all the above mentioned sites.

Thank you for your time and I pray that God will Bless America .

Sincerely,

Pat Wright

Voting on Unread Bills/Global Warming Not So Warm

In short, senators will follow recent precedent and be voting on something that does not even exist. They speculate.

What’s more, CNSNews.com reports that an aide to Sen.

==================================================================

Debra Saunders reports: "What happened to global warming?" read the headline -- on BBC News on Oct. 9, no less. Consider it a cataclysmic event: Mainstream news organizations have begun reporting on scientific research that suggests that global warming may not be caused by man and may not be as dire and eminent as alarmists suggest.

[While hawking global warming, Al Gore's net worth has increased from 2 million to about 200 million - all the while refusing to actually debate the merits of the cause. At a recent news conference, he had the mike turned off when one person actually asked him to answer a tough question.]

Replacing Slander Laws/More Songs To Obama

The American Thinker: In his new book [by Cass Sunstein, Obama's Regulatory Czar], harsh penalties would be meted out for those that "spread rumors about an appointee of a Democratic president," an occurrence likely to increase if Sunstein continues to assault the very foundations upon which America is built.[2] Sunstein will have to accuse millions of Americans of "spreading rumors." Perhaps Sunstein even dreams of an eventual final solution for rumor perpetrators.

The flaw in Sunstein's logic should be obvious to even the mildly literate: libel and slander laws already exist to address Sunstein's alleged concerns. What Sunstein is after is not merely a redress of disinformation, or even the ability to dismiss critics as liars, but rather the actual power to threaten critics with the penalty of law. No due process need be given to those Sunstein accuses of lying. All that will be required is a "notice to take down," in the case of the Internet. As Sunstein writes, "Those who run websites would be obliged to take down falsehoods upon notice." But who determines falsehoods? Not a court of law, if Sunstein's proposal is enacted.

Sunstein, arguably the most powerful bureaucrat in America at present, will decide who is lying and who is telling the truth. At present, if someone lies, there is a sure remedy already in existence: Sunstein, President Obama, or any other official about which a deceptive statement is made, can provide information to contradict the claims of the "liars." The only problem for Sunstein and Obama is the frequency with which accusers are telling the truth, and no contradictory information exists.

o we still wonder why our children are not learning how to read and write and do arithmetic at school - or why some kindergartner's parents are being told that it is they who much teach their children the alphabet because they just don't have time to do it in school? Republican House Leaders joined U.S. Representative Thaddeus McCotter yesterday in sending a letter to the White House outlining substantive ideas on how to help turn around our nation's economy and boost the number of new jobs.

As reported in the Wall Street Journal, the letter (again) outlined the Republicans willingness to work with the Administration to move America forward. Included, several public policy proposals were outlined, including:

  • Give small businesses a tax deduction equal to 20% of their income.
  • Let small businesses band together in associations to buy health insurance more cheaply.
  • Curb civil lawsuits.
  • Lower individual income tax rates.
  • Expand health savings accounts, which are being squeezed in some of the current health-care reform proposals.
  • Increase businesses' ability to recover current losses by refiling prior tax returns.

Earlier this year, Representative McCotter participated in a work group crafting many of these initiatives which could have, in turn, provided twice the jobs at half the cost of the Administration's stimulus package.

Health Care Bill

The Politico reports that: Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., warned Americans that "Republicans want you to die quickly" during an after-hours House floor speech Tuesday night.

His remarks, which drew angry and immediate calls for an apology from Republicans, were highlighted by a sign reading "The Republican Health Care Plan: don't get sick - but if you do, die quickly."

[He also compared the Republicans' plan to a Holocaust! He refuses to apologize, except for the Holocaust reference, even though several weeks ago, with tears in her eyes, Nancy Pelosi asked for a toning down of rhetoric so that the violence of the 70's is not renewed by hateful speech. So - when will Nancy ask Grayson to apologize?]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CNSNews.com)
- Sen. Thomas Carper (D.-Del.), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, told CNSNews.com that he does not “expect” to read the actual legislative language of the committee’s health care bill because it is “confusing” and that anyone who claims they are going to read it and understand it is fooling people.

“I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life,” Carper told CNSNews.com.
Last week, the Finance Committee considered an amendment offered by Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) that would have required the committee to post the full actual language of the proposed legislation online for at least 72 hours before holding a final committee vote on it. The committee defeated the amendment 13-10.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Tim Reid: There has been a growing narrative taking hold about Barack Obama’s presidency in recent weeks: that he is loved by many, but feared by none; that he is full of lofty vision, but is actually achieving nothing with his grandiloquence.

Chicago’s dismal showing yesterday, after Mr Obama’s personal, impassioned last-minute pitch, is a stunning humiliation for this President. It cannot be emphasized enough how this will feed the perception that on the world stage he looks good — but carries no heft. Mr Obama was greeted — as usual — like a rock star by the IOC delegates in Copenhagen — then humiliated by them. Perception is reality. A narrow defeat for Chicago would have been acceptable — but the sheer scale of the defeat was a bombshell, and is a major blow for Mr Obama at a time when questions are being asked about his style of governance. [Perhaps if Mr. Obama had highlighted the greatness and goodness of America and Chicago (a hard thing to do after trashing the USA in the last year) instead of saying what it means to him and his wife and daughters (another example of his narcissism), the Committee might not have been turned off by his arrogance.]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Expose Obama: Humana [Health Insurance Co.] published a letter to its members warning them of potential drastic cuts to Medicare (specifically the Medicare Advantage program) under ObamaCare and urged its members to contact Congress. Specifically, Humana said; “if the proposed funding cut levels [in the current health care legislation] become law, millions of seniors and disabled individuals could lose many of the important benefits and services that make Medicare Advantage health plans so valuable.”

It was a very valid point to raise... such proposals are on the table... and it makes all the sense in the world to alert people to what is going on and motivate them to call their elected officials... but it didn't take the long for our government to come down hard on Humana.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) initiated an investigation and sent an ominous gag-order to Humana:

“As we continue our research into this issue, we are instructing you to immediately discontinue all such mailings to beneficiaries and to remove any related materials directed to Medicare enrollees from your Web sites.”

And Senator Max Baucus demanded that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services launch an "investigation" against Humana as well, claiming the letter put forth "false information," Baucus rhetorically asked, "does the first amendment include lies?”

Of course, there's just one small problem with Baucus' ranting accusation. Humana was voicing an opinion that was well grounded in fact. Even the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) made the point.

The memo went on to say that the government might take legal action against insurers that are mobilizing opposition to the legislation by sending 'misleading and confusing' messages to seniors.

As Dick Morris explains:

Why is Congress so eager to cut $160 billion-plus from Medicare Advantage? The program does things that President Obama and other liberals normally praise. Is the cut simply the price charged by AARP (the American Association of Retired Persons) for overlooking the rest of the $500 billion in Medicare cuts meant to finance “health-care reform”?

Medicare Advantage offers a range of benefits beyond basic Medicare. It combines many elements Obama and other liberals like — such as subsidized premiums for low-income elderly, “pooling” of insurees to provide bargaining power and managed care that emphasizes prevention, treatment of chronic conditions and coordination among doctors.

As a result, it keeps the cost of care, and thus insurance premiums, much lower than do policies.

Ten million seniors have voluntarily enrolled in Medicare Advantage and realized savings of about $1,000 a year in enhanced benefits over and above what Medicare itself provides. These extra benefits include reduced out-of-pocket costs and comprehensive drug coverage, as well as vision, dental and hearing benefits — plus programs promoting wellness (such as gym memberships) disease management and care coordination.

It essentially implements all the economies and efficiencies that Obama preaches nonstop. Doctors speak to one another, duplication is avoided, care is managed, and there is an emphasis on prevention.

Yet the Democratic health-care bills targets Medicare Advantage for drastic cuts — which would force up premiums and drive millions of seniors to drop it.

Which brings us to AARP — which makes a hefty profit selling Medigap coverage, the chief alternative to Medicare Advantage.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Michael Moore, in town for the premiere of his new movie, stopped by a rally at the offices of Public Citizen on Tuesday to deliver a stark warning to any congressional Democrats who would dare oppose a government-run insurance plan as part of health-care legislation. "I and a lot of other people have every intention of removing you from Congress in the next election".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The discovery that Countrywide Financial Corp. recorded phone conversations with borrowers in a controversial mortgage program that included public officials -- and that those recordings have been destroyed -- has prompted new congressional calls for more information about the program.

Rep. Darrell Issa of California, the ranking Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is trying to subpoena the remaining records of Countrywide's VIP loan program. So far, the committee's chairman, New York Democratic Rep. Edolphus Towns, has turned down that request. [This pertains to the loan received by Senator Chris Dodd, among others].

Part III

With reasonable expectations that there will be additions to this entire list, I give to you today a list of some the people with whom Obama has associated through his life:

Health care adviser: Ezekiel Emmanuel— brother of Rahm Emanuel and proponent of the Complete Lives System, which puts values on lives based mostly by age, Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts [in health care] will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).

Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008). "A young person with a poor prognosis has had few life-years but lacks the potential to live a complete life. Considering prognosis forestalls the concern that disproportionately large amounts of resources will be directed to young people with poor prognosis."

Mark Lloyd, newly appointed Chief Diversity Officer of the Federal Communications Commission: In his 2006 book, "Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America," Lloyd wrote: "It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press.... This freedom is all too often an exaggeration.... At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies."

“Federal and regional broadcast operations and local stations should be funded at levels commensurate with or above those spending levels at which commercial operations are funded,” Lloyd wrote. “This funding should come from license fees charged to commercial broadcasters. Funding should not come from congressional appropriations. Sponsorship should be prohibited at all public broadcasters.” Along with this money, Lloyd would regulate much of the programming on these stations to make sure they focused on “diverse views” and government activities.

(In a completely unrelated fact, the FCC just approved the sale of another radio station — this one on Long Island — to ACORN.)

The Apollo Alliance, a special interest group, was launched, according to their website, "in the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy to catalyze a clean energy revolution in America, a revolution in the way our country generates and uses energy so profound that it will touch literally every quarter of American life". This group was responsible for drafting the stimulus bill – the 86 billion dollars having to do with clean energy and green-collar jobs. Apollo New York is run by the Weather Underground founder, Jeff Jones. And who is Jeff Jones? Jeff Jones was a leading anti-war activist and terrorist group founder who spent time on the run from law enforcement agencies while his group carried out a series of bombings of U.S. government buildings.

Jeff Jones joined the Students

for a Democratic Society, or SDS, from which the Weathermen splintered in the fall of 1965. Two years later, he became the SDS's New York City regional director, a position in which he participated in nearly all of the group's major protests until 1969, including the 1968 Columbia University protests and the violent riots that same year at the Democratic National Convention. During his tenure he became a sworn enemy of the US and sided with the North Vietnamese Communists.

In 1969, Jeff Jones founded the Weathermen with terrorists Bill Ayers and Mark Rudd when the three signed an infamous statement of a Declaration of the State of War against the United States Government.

Jeff Jones was a main leader and orchestrator of what became known as the Days of Rage, a series of violent riots in Chicago organized by the Weathermen. The culmination of the riots came when he gave a signal for rowdy protestors to target a hotel that was the home of a local judge presiding over a trial of anti-war activists. He wrote the book Prairie Fire: The Politics of Revolutionary Anti-Imperialism,

Barack Obama's friends and mentors:

Childhood mentor in Hawaii: Frank Marshall Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

The Reverend Jeremiah Wright
: a long-time friend and pastor of Obama's who famously said in sermons: blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "God damn America." He preached "Black Liberation Theology", about which most Americans had no knowledge prior to his newsmaking sermons which blamed America for 9/11, saying that our "chickens have come home to roost."
The overall emphasis of Black Liberation Theology is the black struggle for liberation from various forms of "white racism" and oppression. Perhaps Wright ought to admit that it was red-blooded conservative Americans who fought for the liberation of blacks from slavery many decades ago. The Klu Klux Klan, for instance, were made up of liberal Democrats.... And it was their own black kings from Africa who sold them into slavery. I believe it is past time to begin to make use of the education provided for all Americans as a way to excel in life, no matter the color of one's skin. Having visited Kenya and Tanzania, I believe it is time for the blacks in America to be thankful that their relatives suffered for them as slaves, for they are far better off here in America than they would be in Africa. Isn't it time to preach love and improvement instead of an old hatred of whites who were not yet born during all these tough times? I don't know about you, but I have never owned a slave. Barack referred to Wright as " like an old uncle who says things I don't always agree with. ..." Righto.

Bill Ayers
: unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist bomber William Ayers who, along with his wife Bernardine Dohrn, was a 1960s leader of the homegrown terrorist group Weatherman, a Communist group which advocated the following:

  • Kill all the rich people. ... Bring the revolution home. Kill your parents."
  • Participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972
  • Currently a professor of education at the University of Illinois
  • "I don't regret setting bombs," Ayers is quoted as saying. "I feel we didn't do enough."

William Ayers is widely believed to be the one who actually wrote Barack Obama’s book Dreams From My Father, which would mean that the President is a plagerist.. Ayers was much more to Barack Obama than just ‘a man who lived in the neighborhood”.

Current in the news are some pretty strong arguments about the fact that Ayers was closer to Barack than he lets on, and probably actually wrote Obama's book Dreams From My Father, without being credited as being the ghost writer. This had the effect of presenting Obama as a brilliant writer and thinker. And this would make him the Plagerizer in Chief.

Saul Alinsky
: pioneered "community organizing". Though no longer living, Barack Obama studied him and his "Rules For Radicals", some of which rules follow:

1. Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."

2. Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy." Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty

3. Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters

4. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

5. Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new

6. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

ACORN: the community organizing group for whom Obama worked and taught, proudly claiming his efforts there as a resume builder. During his campaign for President, Barack pledged to ACORN that if elected, he would have meetings with ACORN even prior to his Inauguration, "to help shape his administration's policy." With the current investigations and trials in 14 states for voter fraud, and recent videos of ACORN giving advice to a prostitute and her pimp in how to defraud the government, this connection becomes even more important. Though Obama has pontificated on Kanye West, the NCAA Basketball Tournament, and other insignificant issues, he has yet to personally say one word about his former employer and favorite organizing group. His administration is filled with old cronies from Chicago and ACORN, and they are working hard to subvert our country.

Once again, should we not be known for the company we keep? When will we Americans hold Barack Hussein Obama accountable for the company he keeps?

Obama's Radicals - Part II

Now we go to President Obama's many Czars, or special advisers, as Obama calls them, not all of whom are radicals, who may or may not be allowed by our Constitution and who have no Congressional approval nor oversight. Their salaries are about $175,000 each, with staffs of up to 10 people.

Kevin Jennings has been appointed to be President Obama’s “Safe Schools” czar in the Department of Education. He is the founder of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) — which sponsored the conference that produced the notorious “Fistgate” scandal (in which young teens were guided on how to perform dangerous homosexual perversions including “fisting. He supports promoting homosexuality and gender confusion as normative to even young students. He made that comment in a New York City church.
On March 25, 2000, GLSEN put on a conference called "TeachOut" for kids across and public school teachers across Massachusetts. This conference was co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Education. At this conference children as young as 12 years old were taught by state employees how to engage in various extremely dangerous (and disgusting) homosexual sex acts. Scott Whiteman, then an employee of Parents Rights Coalition attended the conference and tape-recorded those workshops. Soon afterwards, a tape was released with the actual voices of the adults -- state employees -- made during the workshop (described below). That tape sent shock waves across the country. The story was covered by media in the US and other countries, and is even written about in several books. Soon afterwards a court banned the posting or distribution of the "Fistgate" tape until recently.
Among the goals were to build more Gay/Straight Alliances in Massachusetts and expand homosexual teaching into the lower grades. Scores of gay-friendly teachers and administrators attended. They received state "professsional development credits."
Jennings also broke the law when a 15 year old male student confided to him that he was having a sexual affair with an older man. Instead of calling the police, as the law demands, this teacher told the boy to be sure to use a condom……

Green Jobs Czar: Van Jones,an Apollo board member, was Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Some time ago, while he was in prison he wrote: “I met all these young radical people of color — I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.’ I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary".
He is a man who proclaimed himself to be a "communist" in the 1990s and signed 9/11 "truther" petitions suggesting Bush administration complicity in the Sept. 11 attacks. Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), the revolutionary group formed by self-described "communist" and "rowdy black nationalist" Van Jones, held a vigil in Oakland, California, "mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world" on the day after 9/11 and was now to be part of the Obama administration's push to turn Sept. 11 into a National Day of Service focused on the promotion of the radical environmentalist agenda. Jones has proclaimed publicly that whites are purposely poisoning minority neighborhoods. Jones said, "The white polluters and the white environmentalists are essentially steering poison into the people of color communities."

Explaining his job as Green Czar, he said, "We're going to change the whole system! We're going to change the whole thing. We want a new system. We want a new system." This statement is especially troubling coming from a self-avowed communist radical with extensive ties to other communist revolutionaries.

Guantanamo Closure Czar: Daniel Fried
Health Czar: Nancy-Ann DeParle Director of the White House Office for Health Reform.
Information Czar: Vivek Kundra

International Climate Czar: Todd Stern – recommends “an ecological board of directors able to operate outside the bureaucracy and politics of large UN conventions.” He espoused the need to put major environmental decisions in the hands of a small group of people rather than a gathering of all nations.

Intelligence Czar: Dennis Blair - one of Blair’s picks: John Deutch, a former CIA director once accused of major security lapses, who's been appointed to a temporary panel reviewing troubled, top-secret spy-satellite programs.
After Deutch resigned as CIA director in 1996, agency officials discovered he had stored hundreds of pages of classified files on his home computers, despite repeated warnings that they could be intercepted via the Internet. Because of the incident, Deutch was stripped of his high-level security clearances, and a criminal probe into the matter culminated in January 2001, when the ex-spy chief agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor charges of mishandling classified material. (The next day, Clinton, in one of his final acts as president, pardoned him.)

Auto czar Steve Rattner, entangled in an SEC investigation of his former company, Quandrangle, topped that list until he stepped down earlier this month amid the darkening ethics cloud.

Mideast Peace Czar: George Mitchell

Pay Czar: Kenneth Feinberg, or as Obama called him, a “Special Master for Compensation”

Regulatory Czar: Cass Sunstein- proposed bans on hunting and eating meat. In his book Animal Rights, he argued that attorneys should be permitted to sue for violations of existing animal protection laws, naming the animals as plaintiffs.
Sunstein's 2004 book, The Second Bill of Rights: FDR's Unfinished Revolution and Why We Need It More than Ever, advocates the Second Bill of Rights proposed by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Among these rights are a right to an education, a right to a home, a right to health care, and a right to protection against monopolies; Sunstein argues that the Second Bill of Rights has had a large international impact and should be revived in the United States. His 2001 book, Republic.com, argued that the Internet may weaken democracy because it allows citizens to isolate themselves within groups that share their own views and experiences, and thus cut themselves off from any information that might challenge their beliefs, a phenomenon known as cyberbalkanization. He also supports the bill that would give Obama emergency control of the Internet, as well as a fairness doctrine for the Internet, from which he has since stepped away.

Science Czar: John Holdren :From his own book: "Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society." "A program of sterilizing women after their second or third child, despite the relatively greater difficulty of the operation than vasectomy, might be easier to implement than trying to sterilize men," they wrote. "The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control." "It must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets or livestock." “The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being.”

• TARP Czar: Herb Allison
• Cyber Czar: Rod Beckstrom
• Border Czar: Alan Bersin
• Intelligence Czar: Dennis Blair **
• Terrorism Czar: John Brennan *

Energy Czar Carol Browner - Obama's Energy and Climate Czar, headed the EPS for Clinton. Upon leaving office, and directly counter to a judge's edict, she told her staff to delete all her files. She was declared to be in contempt of court. She also sent out illegal lobbying material from her office. All this after once saying she was "proud to expand the public's right to know". One of her ideas for energy conservation is to "hold back [heating and air-conditioning] power to homes". Barack Obama has noted that he keeps his White House thermostats at 80 degrees... Browner is one of 14 leaders of a socialist group "Commission for a Sustainable World Society" which calls for global governance [and the loss of the soverignty of the USA], and for rich companies to shrink their economies.
