Is This the Change You Were Seeking??? The Obama National Anthem; Israel and Moscow Tea Parties

If you have not yet seen this, I beg you all to go to this video, put out by Glenn Beck during the Presidential campaign, and proving that those who wore no blinders knew who this man is!  It is Obama's new national anthem!   :)

After accosting and threatening a college student in a suit, on the streets of Washington, who was asking him if he agrees with Obama's agenda, the good Congressman has announced:
“I have seen the video posted on several blogs.  I deeply and profoundly regret my reaction and I apologize to all involved.  Throughout my many years of service to the people of North Carolina, I have always tried to treat people from all viewpoints with respect. No matter how intrusive and partisan our politics can become, this does not justify a poor response.  I have and I will always work to promote a civil public discourse.”  [It appears to me that he will act with a civil public discourse only until he is asked a tough question.  What do you think?"]

On the Glenn Beck Show:  Congressman Bob Etheridge (D-NC) was caught on tape physically assaulting some students who asked him if he agreed with Obama's policies. A commenter had this great campaign ad suggestion for Etheridge's next opponent: “Any citizen can ask me my position at any time, and I will answer directly and honestly rather than committing assault and battery. If Rep. Etheridge wants to know who I am, I am Renee Ellmers, and I approve this message.”

As Tea Party protests pop up in places like Moscow, Tel Aviv and the Hague, Americans may question whether the Tea Party platform can cross international and cultural borders. For activists outside the U.S., the answer is a resounding “yes.”
“I think the message of the American Revolution is global. The message of natural, unalienable rights, the message of opposition to tyrannical government — that’s not just well-known, that’s universal,” Boris Karpa, organizer of the Israeli Tea Party, told The Daily Caller in an e-mail. “As you know well, many countries have based their founding documents on the U.S. Declaration of Independence or other American documents.”
Although several international organizers had never even heard of the Boston Tea Party until U.S. protests brought the events of 1773 back into the spotlight, they now wear the Tea Party badge proudly as an example of American exceptionalism worth emulating.
“This [Tea Party] title is ideal for Russia,” said Max Kronos, organizer of the Moscow Tea Party. “This event has forever gone down in history — in Russia, such events have not happened.”

Oklahoma is poised to become the first state in the nation to ban state judges from relying on Islamic law known as Sharia when deciding cases. The ban is a cornerstone of a "Save our State" amendment to the Oklahoma constitution that was recently approved by the Legislature. The amendment -- which also would forbid judges from using international laws as a basis for decisions -- will now be put before Oklahoma's voters in November. Approval is expected.  http://abcnews.go.com/US/Media/oklahoma-pass-laws-prohibiting-islamic-sharia-laws-apply/story?id=10908521

Managed Healthcare Executive E-News:

While 5.6 million to 7 million Americans may qualify for health coverage through a new temporary national high-risk pool program, the $5 billion allocated until 2014 will cover only a fraction of those in need, potentially as few as 200,000 people a year, according to a new policy analysis from the National Institute for Health Care Reform (NIHCR).

[It's not as if those who wanted to know couldn't find out:  the AMA only accounts for 17%  of
all doctors in America, and they were either bamboozled or paid off to lend their support to Obama.]
Now:  The new president-elect of the American Medical Association promises to lead the nation's largest doctor group in a more proactive and confrontational relationship with members of Congress. His comments came after winning a hotly contested election this week to become the group's president-elect, following weeks of growing outrage among physicians over the 21 percent cut in Medicare payments that they soon will begin seeing.

[I did not watch the Obama "Oil" speech.  I am enraged to learn what he said.  Specifically, he announced: "We consume more than 20 percent of the world's oil but have less than 2 percent of the world's oil reserves. And that's part of the reason oil companies are drilling a mile beneath the surface of the ocean: because we're running out of places to drill on land and in shallow water."

What??  The truth of the matter is that liberals
WON'T LET US "drill on land and in shallow water."  Watch your pocketbooks!]
It's not that I agree, but it's interesting to see what a columnist, Sher Zieve with Canada Free Press,  thinks: that "Obama is doing the bare minimum so that destruction will be at an all-time maximum in order to shove his Cap and Trade bill (which will complete our destruction) down our throats."

Zieve adds: "The BP oil disaster was custom-made for The Obama. ... The effective oil-skimmer systems utilized by the Saudis and others would work to greatly minimize the damage being caused to the US Gulf Coast. But, The Obama continues to drag his heels as States and lives are destroyed."
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said: "At the same time as Americans wonder when this gusher will ever be plugged, we hear word that the administration and my good friend the majority leader want to piggy back their controversial new national energy tax--also known as cap and trade--to an oil spill response bill that could and should be an opportunity for true bipartisan cooperation.”

Kyle-Anne Shiver of American Thinker has written a column to inspire us.  In part, here it is.
I've never seen -- outside of real war -- a moment when we Americans more needed to get back in touch with our inner Patriot.

Who were those people that risked all in their fight for liberty?  They were people just like us.  They had families to support.  They had lived a certain way all their lives, and just like us, probably saw life continuing on in much the same way for their children.

Until it finally dawned on them that it wasn't going to work out that way.
And what did they do about it, our patriot ancestors?

The very first thing they did was to get out of their comfort zones and into their meeting places -- their taverns and churches and offices and homes.   There they confronted their more complacent, loyalist-bent friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Our patriot ancestors did not buckle under in cowardice and shy from the verbal confrontations so necessary to change minds and hearts.

The very first rule of revolution -- and of counter-revolution, which is what we are in now -- is that thoughts and words must precede all other actions.  The return to our American brand of common sense will come one person at a time.  Discounting the impact one individual can have is the silver bullet that can kill a resistance movement with a single shot.

It is now time for all good patriots to get a grip and confront a liberal today.
[Their] ridicule only wins when its opponent bows down before it and gets just as low-down dirty, or when its opponent retreats into cowardly silence.

Contrary to the Alinsky doctrines, truth is man's most potent weapon.  At a time such as this - when our Republic is on the line -- no wise patriot can afford to be silent.  A few words of truth might actually begin the chain reaction of common sense regained that's heard around the world.

  1. In my experience, the problem with trying to avail a "liberal" of the truth is that they will not hear it. Rather than focus on the issue, they resort to taunts and insults. They have already decided that any "conservative" view is inherently wrong and, therefore, they remain with their heads stuck in the sand. There is no room for debate or deliberation -- only for immature and often times offensive and disrespectful verbal (or, in Etheridge's case, physical) attacks. Best to concentrate our efforts on those who are closer to the middle, and even on other conservatives, and get them to the polls!

  2. You are right. It is even more important to inform the complacent, the conservative who can't be bothered to get out of his chair to go to vote.
Just what will it take, after all. I can't even get them to read my blog.....they just don't want to know.....
