The White House said President Barack Obama misspoke on Tuesday when
he referred to a "Polish death camp" while honoring a Polish war hero.
The
president's remark had drawn immediate complaints from Poles who said
Obama should have called it a "German death camp in Nazi-occupied
Poland," to distinguish the perpetrators from the location. Polish
Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski called it a matter of "ignorance and
incompetence."
Obama made the comment while awarding the Medal of
Freedom to Jan Karski, a resistance fighter against the Nazi occupation
of Poland during World War II. Karski died in 2000.

The White House will apologize for this outrageous error,”
Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski tweeted.
Sikorski said that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk “will make a
statement in the morning. It’s a pity that this important ceremony was
upstaged by ignorance and incompetence.”

Bush has wrought in our standing in the world.] http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/05/president-obama-causes-outrage-with-reference-to-polish-death-camp/

The House plans to vote Wednesday on a bill banning abortions based
on the sex of a child — and the measure may fail because of the way
Republicans plan to bring up the measure for a vote.
The Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA) would punish doctors with
up to five years in prison for performing abortions because the parents
are seeking a child of the other sex. Republican supporters cast the
bill as a measure designed to protect the civil rights of unborn
children — especially babies born to minority parents. As the bill was
drafted, Democrats accused Republicans of disingenuously tying the issue
to the legacy of civil rights leaders.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this month rejected an offer
from United States (US) President Barack Obama for landmark bilateral
talks at the White House, the Kremlin revealed on Tuesday."
[Can you see how that pledge of President Obama's about making the world love us once again is working? That one-on-one talking is really working out.] http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/putin-rejects-white-house-talks_646253.html

The federal government is handing out $4.2 billion a year to illegal aliens.
This isn’t some service benefit that illegal aliens are receiving,
like taxpayer-subsidized health care or education. And it’s not a tax
deduction or a non-refundable tax credit, which would require recipients
to actually
pay taxes in order to receive the benefit. It’s a refundable
tax credit,
a taxpayer-funded check from the federal government. And the government
requires no proof that the recipient is actually eligible under the
law, which illegals are not.
Abuse of this tax benefit is one of the most ridiculous examples of
fraud adding to our federal deficit today. Equally harmful, it is acting
as a powerful incentive for more illegal aliens to come to America.

The defection of a prominent Pennsylvania Democrat to the Republican Party is raising some eyebrows.
Jo Ann Nardelli, a state committeewoman and founding president of the
Blair County Federation of Democratic Women, has switched her political
affiliation to the GOP, citing her Catholic faith and President Obama’s
embrace of gay marriage as reasons.

“
Some unjust laws impose such injustices on individuals and
organizations that disobeying the laws may be justified,” the bishops
state
in a document developed to be inserted into church bulletins in Catholic parishes around the country in June.
“Every effort must be made to repeal them,” the bishops say
in the document,
which is already posted on the website of the U.S. Conference of
Catholic Bishops. “When fundamental human goods, such as the right of
conscience, are at stake, we may need to witness to the truth by
resisting the law and incurring its penalties.”

A letter from Hawaii’s Department of Health verifying Barack Obama’s birth in Honolulu has not only
not
stopped Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse work on the island, his
lead investigator reports it has actually “opened the door” to some
“shocking revelations” the posse is promising to disclose.
Among the details leaked early by Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo: There are allegedly
several stamps bearing Registrar Alvin Onaka’s name “floating around” inside the Hawaii Department of Health.

Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of
Kansas: That we recognize the destructive and insidious nature of United
Nations Agenda 21 and hereby expose to public policy makers the
dangerous intent of the plan; and
Be it further resolved: That the federal government and all state
and HR 6032 local governments across the country should seek to be well
informed about the underlying harmful implications of the implementation
of United Nations Agenda 21 destructive strategies for "sustainable
development", and that we hereby endorse rejection of its radical
policies; and
Be it further resolved: That the Chief Clerk of the House of
Representatives shall send an enrolled copy of this resolution to each
member of the Kansas Congressional Delegation.

For an anti-war liberal Barack Obama sure has a long list of people he has ordered to be killed. According to the
New York Times,
Obama – who campaigned on shutting down Gitmo because it played music
too loud for terrorists – has, quote, “placed himself at the helm of a
top secret ‘nominations’ process to designate terrorists for kill or
capture, of which the capture part has become largely theoretical.”
The NYT article notes that Obama is determined to make the “moral calculations” on who on the list meets an untimely demise.
It is the strangest of bureaucratic rituals: Every week or so, more
than 100 members of the government’s sprawling national security
apparatus gather, by secure video teleconference, to pore over terrorist
suspects’ biographies and
recommend to the president who should be the next to die.
This secret “nominations” process is an invention of the Obama administration,
a grim debating society that vets the PowerPoint slides bearing the
names, aliases and life stories of suspected members of Al Qaeda’s
branch in Yemen or its allies in Somalia’s Shabab militia.
[Unmentioned here is the fact that if we simply kill all our enemies, we will never get good intelligence from them.] http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=2524324467828580210&pli=1#editor/target=post;postID=8875188772318673906

New
York State accounted for the biggest migration exodus of any
state in the nation between 2000 and 2010, with 3.4 million residents
leaving over that period, according to the Tax Foundation.
Over that decade the state gained 2.1 million, so net migration
amounted to 1.3 million, representing a loss of $45.6 billion in income.
Where are they escaping to? The Tax Foundation found that more than
600,000 New York residents moved to Florida over the decade – opting
perhaps for the Sunshine State’s more lenient tax system – taking nearly
$20 billion in adjusted growth income with them.
