RedWhiteBlue news reports: US giant General Motors will invest $540 million to produce two low-emission motors in central Mexico, the company announced here Thursday, accompanied by President Felipe Calderon.
The latest project for GM in Mexico would create 500 direct and another 500 indirect jobs in its plant in Toluca, Calderon said.

The Blaze reports: San Francisco voters in November will be asked to weigh in on what was until now a private family matter: male circumcision.
City elections officials confirmed Wednesday that an initiative that would ban the circumcision of males younger than 18 in San Francisco has received enough signatures to appear on the ballot. The practice would become a misdemeanor.
Supporters of the ban say male circumcision is a form of genital mutilation that should not be forced on a young child.

Yahoo News reports: A very large proportion of recent university graduates have soured on President Barack Obama, and many will vote GOP or stay at home in the 2012 election, according to two new surveys of younger voters.
