This interesting tidbid comes from Financial Times: But now that he is a BP contractor through the oil company’s Vessels of Opportunity programme, designed to employ local fishermen in the oil spill clean-up operations, he earns more consistent money, and works a lot less than he used to.
“BP is a very nice fella, and this is a guaranteed cheque,” he says, pointing to a huge yellow skin or “bladder” on his boat that is used to collect skimmed oil. “I’m sticking with this for as long as I can.”
All over Louisiana, it is the same story: fishermen involved in the programme – according to BP, there are 2,000 vessels currently on active hire in the VoO – are discovering that hauling oil boom is far less taxing than shrimping, and they are in no hurry to return to their traditional way of life.

I don't really care if he is a Muslim or an Atheist...It is his actions that worry me...He definitely is so far left in his ideology that he is in camp with Karl Marx. He is on a path to ruin America. Tax and Spend, social justice, equal results (not just opportunity!) and on and on...He represents the greatest threat to our culture and society in the history of the United States.
