"Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things you couldn't do before." So said White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in November, and Democrats in Congress are certainly taking advantage of our fears in their attempt to speedily pass their Socialist agenda. Part of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals is to precipitate crisis.
One item which was part of the so-called "Stimulus Package" currently working its way through Congress was $4.19 Billion to go to "Neighborhood Stimulus Programs" such as ACORN, thus fulfilling Obama's pledge to include his old employer and it's teachings for rebellion in his plans for America. Acorn is under investigation in multiple states for voter-fraud, and is well known for its community organizing, during which a stated tactic is to "get in their faces" to intimidate organizations into doing their bidding. This is not job-stimulating. Rather, it is voter-getting, democrat-loyalty producing welfare. And all their efforts in Chicago have failed to improve the education in those schools. Due to this item seeing the light of day, it has been removed from the package.. I will be writing an article futher describing Michelle Obama's dealings with the teachings of Saul Alinsky.

Another part of the package is $400,000,000 for new modeling programs for global warming, in spite of the fact that NOAH announced last week that our globe will now warm for 1000 years in spite of any steps we take to curtail it. Perhaps we should instead be spending money preparing for the inevitable and much more disastrous results of global cooling. Or, we could simply realize that Earth was here well before man, and the cooling and warming of Earth is cyclical (about every 15,000 years) and much too powerful for our intervention to change it. As Speaker Nancy Pelosi put it, "We won the election. We wrote the bill." So they did. Republicans should let them take all of the credit - and perhaps all of the blame.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has posted an online petition for readers to express their outrage at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh for saying last week that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail. What Rush actually said was that he hopes the President's non-stimulus Stimulus Package fails because it will make our problems worse.

E.J. Dionne of the Washington post wrote last week an important column, writing that "President Obama intends to use conservative values for progressive ends. He will cast extreme individualism as an infantile approach to politics that must be supplanted by a more adult sense of personal and collective responsibility. And in trying to do all these things, he will confuse a lot of people". Most sickeningly, Obama openly jettisoned his constitutional role as the caretaker for America’s national interest. Instead, Obama posed himself as an honest broker between America and the Muslim world. “(T)he United States has a stake in the well-being of the Muslim world, that the language we use has to be a language of respect,” he said. “I have Muslim members of my family. I have lived in Muslim countries.” Obama didn’t stop there. He stated that his job is to speak for the Muslim world, defending them from Americans’ negative perceptions: “And my job is to communicate to the American people that the Muslim world is filled with extraordinary people who simply want to live their lives and see their children live better lives.” No, Mr. President. Your job is not to communicate to the American people that the Muslim world harbors us no ill will. That is their job. The Muslim world must demonstrate with its words and actions that they do not wish America replaced with an Islamic state. They must demonstrate that they do not support terrorism against America and our allies. Your job is to protect and defend the United States of America. That is your sworn duty. And you abrogate your sworn duty every time you go on Arab television stations and apologize for America’s foreign policy. You abrogate your sworn duty every time you force American allies to negotiate with terrorists. You abrocate your duty every time you pledge to protect the interests “not just of the United States, but also ordinary people who right now are suffering from poverty and a lack of opportunity” -- the same ordinary people who elect Hamas, prop up the Ayatollahs, supported the Taliban, recruit for al-Qaida, and live off of the beneficence of Hezbollah. Not all Muslims are “extraordinary people,” and the interests of suffering Muslims do not always align with American interests.

Only after New York Times called for Tom Daschle to withdraw his nomination to be Secretary of Health and Human Services because of his failure to pay over $128,000 in income taxes, did he do so. He has become another tax cheat chosen by Obama who has failed the stated ethics code of Obama. What makes this almost funny is this quote from Daschle in 1998: "Make no mistake, tax cheaters cheat us all, and the IRS should enforce our laws to the letter." Another Obama pick bites the dust as a tax cheat. He closely follows Nancy Killefer, former Treasury official, who was chosen to be Obama's Chief Performance Officer. She is a small tax cheat, only owing about $900 in unemployment compensation for the two nannies for her two teenage children. Perhaps she has more ethics, or shame, than the others. These tax cheats in the upper eschelons of government bring to mind the quote by Leona Helmsley: "Only the little people pay taxes." This list would not be complete without revisiting Obama's pick for Treasury Secretary, Thomas Geithner, who owed $34,000 in taxes. He has been quoted as saying that our current tax code is all way too complicated! This is just the man to be put in charge of our IRS, don't you think? Perhaps we can count on him to simplify our tax code.....

He plans to give all states a waiver from their requirement of following national emission standards. Therefore, California will become the first of possibly 18 states who will set their very own emission standards - which will require Detroit auto makers to produce cars that meet those requirements, without federal mandates.

President Obama to Republican Representative Eric Cantor, discussing his conservative ideas on the Stimulus Package: "I won! I will trump you on that!" So much for the new era of bipartisanship. He is discounting the views of some 58 million voters.. who are also the Americans for whom he has pledged to work, not rule.

Obama's Inaugural words: "All are equal, all are free" Yes, indeed we are all free. However we are NOT all equal and it is not the work of government to make it so! It is the work of government to give each American the OPPORTUNITY to be equal. Those who avail themselves of their government provided education and remain part of a two parent family, who will work two jobs when needed, avoid drugs and illegal activites, for instance, will become more successful than those who don't.

Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) noticed something disturbing in the 'stimulus' package--A little section that read 'and $600 million to prepare America for Universal Health Care.' "Wow, $600 million just to prepare for it? Sounds like it's going to be cheap. No seriously, socialism is going to be so much fun when it's fully in place in America", says Glenn Beck.

Some of President Obama's inherited cast of characters include Charlie Wrangle, (Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee which writes our US tax code) yet another Democrat tax cheat who has broken laws in DC and in NYC by having more than one rent-controlled unit in NYC without living in them both, and for claiming a Homestead Exemption on his DC digs when it is not his primary residence. On top of that he has failed to pay income taxes on an offshore vacation home which has garnered him about $75,000 in rent. It also includes Chris Dodd, Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, who unethically received special treatment by Countrywide Financial on his mortgage, of all things! Does it ever stop? And is there no shame?

Barack Obama has warned the elected Republicans that "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done." Thus, he becomes the first President since Nixon to have an "enemies list". I guess even before he tries to outlaw free speech with the so-called "Fairness Doctrine", he is picking out a private citizen to admonish. Do you recall when in the autumn of 2007 Senator Harry Reid read, from the well of the Senate, a condemnation of Rush Limbaugh that was full of lies and totally misrepresented the truth, calling him unpatriotic and against our military? This letter was signed by 40 Senators! This couldn't have been further from the truth. Rush sold this letter on EBay for over $2,ooo,ooo to a Foundation which wants to remind us forever of a govenment who is actively trying to abridge our right to free speech, and he matched the amount, to be given to the Children of Fallen Marines and Law Enforcement Officers. This was truly appalling behavior from our government. It was akin to the governments of China and Russia, trying to bring down a private citizen for his "free" speech. It is right out of Saul Alinsky's playbook for rebellion, on which Barack Obama was carefully schooled during his days at Chicago's ACORN: "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it" We must keep our eyes on Obama's plan to pass the "Fairness Doctrine" for it is the opposite of fair, and is intended to stifle free speech from conservatives only.

During hearings in May of 2008, Maxine Waters of the House of Representatives said to a Shell Oil exec. that if the price for gasoline goes up (in spite of being allowed to drill for oil in as yet approved US sites): "And guess what this liberal will be all about - socializing, uh, would be about, uh, basically taking over and the government running all of your companies." I presume that she is another liberal who believes the goverment can run industries better than can American companies.

Barack Obama has reversed the Bush administration's refusal to have the United States pay for abortions across the world. Catholic archbishop Fisichela called Barack Obama arrogant, adding, "what is important is to know how to listen without locking oneself into ideological visions of someone who, having the power, thinks he can decide on life and death". Now along comes Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi who says that millions of dollars of the stimulus package should go towards abortion funds, for "birth control will help the economy". "Less energy will be used" when their are fewer people, and "fewer people will be getting benefits". She said, "We have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in the economy". This an attitude which should remind us of the government of China, who dictates that Chinese families may only have ONE child each due to the burden that those citizens create. This is a new low in family planning - to aid the government! When will we be asked to stop procreating in order to help our government? Think how this will also decrease global warming, for fewer people will be exhaling carbon dioxide..... It seems possible, however, that our President is poised to deny this thinking and spending. We'll see.

Obama's new Climate Change Envoy is Todd Stern, a Clinton Senior Whitehouse negotiator in the Kyoto Climate Change talks. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Center For American Progress (liberal) think tank. All this while the issue of climate change has not conclusively been proven to be manmade, and it ranks at the bottom of most citizen's lists of important problems......

Rush Limbaugh's Bipartisan Stimulus Plan: Since 53% of Americans voted for Obama and 46% voted for McCain, perhaps the answer would be to put 53% of the Stimulus Plan toward the Democrat plans, and 43% would be put to conservative plans of lower taxes. We will see which plan works best. In the Kennedy, Reagan and Bush 43 administrations, tax cuts, even for the wealthy (who actually create jobs and spend money), produced greatly higher revenues to the federal government!

Doesn't the possibility of pay-offs, outright bribery and blackmail seem to be a possibility? The group to whom former President Clinton has pledged transparency (the Obama Transition Team) is no longer in place, providing a good alibi as to why he need not comply with his promise.

Timothy Geithner, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has been appointed as Obama's Treasury Secretary. This occured despite Geithner's purposely failing to pay over $34,000 in taxes to the IRS. This is akin to putting the fox in charge of guarding the henhouse! We have a known tax cheat running our Treasury! If we were to try this, we would pay high fines and perhaps be sent to prison, but he is allowed to say that this was a "sloppy" and "honest mistake".

Our new president has many intertwined associations with people and organizations which have been working with him in his stated goal of "beginning again the work of remaking America". They hope to force the US to:
1) pay heed to George Soros’ “Open Society Institute” which promotes the “Responsible US Global Engagement”, letting the UN take even more of our money for climate change, arms control and foreign aid in spite of it’s proven graft and hatred of the US
2) institute, through the “Center for American Progress”, the “New World Order” which would allow us to use our military only when the UN says we can
3) allow Eric Schwartz of the “US Connect Fund” to promote an “International Criminal Court” via a front organization named “Citizens For Global Solutions”, which will take from the US our very sovereignty. Another aim here is putting our soldiers under the command of the UN and creating a world government with a world army financed by global taxes

We should be angry and insulted by the Speaker of the House, who promised to have gentility and honesty guide her days in governing. When she accused Republicans of being unpatriotic for not helping to pass her socialistic bill this past October, even though 40% of her own Democrats voted against it, that should have angered us to action.
This entire mortgage default debacle began with the Jimmy Carter era law which made "redlining" illegal, forcing mortgage companies and banks to give mortgages to those who could not afford or never intended to pay their loans. Fannie Mae was created in 1968 to increase the number of these loans.
Fannie Mae became creative, bundling mortgages and selling them to investors and mutual funds, thereby risking the assets of the 50% of our citizens who own stocks outside of and in retirement funds. Fannie Mae bought and held sub-prime loans as another way to boost their profits. The Clinton administration further loosened home loan requirements.
CEO Franklin Raines and executive Jim Johnson worked for Fannie Mae. Raines made his focus the raising of the earning per share, tying that rise to executive bonuses. Raines took 50 million dollars in bonuses, as well as 40 million in salaries in 5 years. Johnson took 21 million in just one year. Raines and Johnson have been involved in the campaign of Senator Barack Obama. Raines was forced into early retirement, and paid a paltry amount to settle the investigation into his malfeasance, while Fannie Mae was forced to pay 400 million in fines. This current debacle was not caused by a failure of unbridled Capitalism, as many are trying to claim.
During this time a community organization named ACORN, in Chicago, and in 42 states, used "direct action tactics" to force bankers to offer even more mortgages to those who couldn't afford them. Yes, this is the ACORN for whom Senator Obama served as a lawyer, a community organizer, and a trainer of organizers. Over the years, and indeed right now, ACORN has been shown to engage in fraudulent voter registration, adding dead, illegal alien, fictitious and underage voters in five states.- and Obama pledged to meet with them during his period of transition... Do we not see that this might have skewed the election of our President in an illegal way?
In 2004 Congress held hearings on Fannie Mae, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversite, with Republicans leading the way. Democrats such as Maxine Waters and Barney Frank made these statements: "This is a lynching of Franklin Raines"; "We don't have a crisis under the outstanding leadership of Franklin Raines"; "There is nothing here to say that safety is an issue"; and most astoundingly, "These assets are riskless!". Barney Frank should step down from his leadership of the Congressional Financial Services Committee. Democrats failed America with their support for failing institutions.
In 2005 John McCain co-sponsored a bill to rein in this institution. Opposition from Democrats was so broad that the bill couldn't even be brought up for a vote.
October's Pelosi Bailout Bill would have sent 20% of any bailout profits made - to ACORN, not to Americans or back to the government coffers, which is one reason the bill did not pass. Now the Senate has added 150 billion of pork to the bill in order to buy votes. And Congress wonders why only 10% of us think Congress is doing a good job.... I hope that we never again have to hear Ms. Pelosi say that this is all due to capitalism, President Bush and the Republicans..... There is plenty of blame to go around, but most of it is on the Democrat side of the balance


Waters and Frank failed America

If these were a Republican Senators and Representatives, they would be drummed out of office, or at least investigated, as were Newt Gingrich, Trent Lott and Tom Delay. At the least, I expect Barney Frank to lose his seat on the Financial Services Committee. I know - I am dreaming....

Ten Reasons to Say “NO!” to Barack Obama
1) From years of mentoring by his “friend Frank" (Marshall Davis), a member of the Communist Party of the USA - thru friendships and associations with Chicago felon Tony Rezko, unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers, the group ACORN for whom he was a lawyer and trainer and to whom his campaign has donated $800,000 (this group is now found to be registering thousands of fraudulent voters) , and his 20 year membership in Reverend Wright’s Black Liberation Theology Church, he doesn’t have the judgement to NOT associate with radicals. With whom will he likely fill his Cabinet?
2) He advocates income redistribution as Marxist Saul Alinsky prescribes “from those according to their ability, to those according to their need”. This - even though the bottom 40% of Americans pay NO taxes, and the upper 5%, on whom he plans to increase taxes, already pay 60% of all taxes. It is these very people who buy products, spend money and employ the rest of us. He wants to do this even knowing that it will cause less money to go to the government, in the interest of “fairness”. Taxes will be increased by another 10% on those who sell a home or stocks, as well as on those of us who have earned interest and dividends. Taxes would be increased by 6.2% for those families earning over $102,000 because he plans to no longer cap Social Security taxes. When he raises taxes on corporations, jobs will be shipped overseas where the taxes are much lower.
3) While excoriating greedy CEOs, lobbyists and Republicans over the current financial meltdown, his associates Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson fraudulently bilked Fannie Mae of over $130 million as the company was going broke. In the last 3 years alone, this lobbyist-hating would-be President took the second largest amount of PAC funds ($130,000) from Fannie Mae, a total which is 49 times the amount that McCain was given over his lifetime
4) Americans give billions to poverty-plagued nations. Barack plans to force us to give another .7% of our Gross Domestic Product to the graft-ridden UN as part of his Global Poverty Act.
5) He favors meeting with evil enemy leaders without preconditions. He has negotiated with Iraq, in violation of our Constitution, asking them to not allow US soldiers to be sent home until after he is elected, so that he can get the credit.
6) He would guarantee our loss in Iraq by telling enemies exactly when our troops will leave, regardless of conditions on the ground. Al Qaeda will wait til we leave, take over the county, execute those Iraqis who fought for freedom, and exclaim victory over a weak USA.
7) He has accused our troops of “air-raiding villages and killing civilians” in Afghanistan, fueling the world’s hatred and giving talking points to our enemies.
8) Any criticism of Barack Obama has been and will continue to be falsely decried as racism, for he will not admit that it is his radical agenda which is in question.
9) Terrorist William Ayers placed Obama as Chairman of his Annenberg Challenge. Barack directed $50M to a project to specifically "radicalize" Chicago's public school education agenda.
10) He claims to want to reduce money in politics - yet his campaign has raised over $600M, some of it illegal, for use against McCain who, along with Obama, pledged to use only public funds in his campaign.
