Barack Obama and the World

Quote of the week:Judith Klinghofer of Rutgers University states: [Barack Obama], the son of an anthropologist, developed a lot of “tricks,” as he put it, training himself to be a close observer of human nature, figuring out what others needed so he could get where he wanted to go.

He was able to banish any fear in older white folk that he was an angry young black man — with smiles, courtesy and, as he wrote in his memoir, “no sudden moves.” A passage from Barack Obama's first autobiography to remember when Obama is speaking, [almost always with a teleprompter, I add]: On p. 94-95 he describes an effective tactic to deal with White people:
"It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved - such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't seem angry all the time."
AS OBAMA HAS STATED, WORDS MATTER.>>>>>>
We must heed his words.

OBAMA'S PLACE IN THE WORLD:
"As long as the threat from Iran persists, we will go forward with a
missile defense system that is cost-effective and proven," President
Obama told a crowd of about 20,000 gathered in Prague.
Following
that waffle, Russian leader Medvedev refers to Barack Obama as his
"new comrade." Isn't that just great?

Just as President Obama was pledging to create a nuclear
free world, North Korea, in direct conflict with it's UN
Resolution, launched another long-range missile, one with
the capability of reaching America. Message received?

We will convey,” said Barack Obama to the Turkish
Parliament Monday, “our deep appreciation for the Islamic
faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape
the world — including in my own country.” What?? Is he
talking about his own country of Kenya which has family
ties to our new President - or of the new direction the
United States was forced to take following the radical Islam/
Muslim-connected assaults of 9/11? What could he be
referencing, since Muslims were NOT part of the shaping
of our county during any of it's long history?

For the first time in American's history, a President has

prostrated himself before a foreign potentate, Saudi King

Abdullah, at the Group of 20 summit in London last week.

This action is expected only from the subjects of the King.

Mr. Obama later said in Strasbourg, France, "We have to

change our behavior in showing the Muslim world greater

respect." He often says that we are not at war with Islam,

as if President Bush said we were. President Bush has

always maintained that we are at war with RADICAL

Islam. Since actions as well as words "mean something",

as Obama likes to say, we can only wonder what the rest

of the world thinks about the bowing down of America

to a Muslim.

And here in America, Congressman John Conyers,
head of the Judiciary Committee, is calling for a full
House investigation of corrupt ACORN's role in the
presidential election and beyond. Kudo's to John
Conyers!

HEALTH CARE REFORM
BARACK Obama promised during his
campaign that
his health care reforms would allow
Americans to keep their current insurance coverage
if they so desired.
He must have "forgotten" that his
plan will take away from 10 million seniors their
Medicare Advantage (MA) plans - 60% of whom
have incomes of only $10,000 to $30,000.
MA plans
emphasize the free market and patient choice at lower
cost, and threaten Democrats' plans for a government-
run health care system.
In addition to this, an
independent health research group, The Lewin
Group, concluded that President Obama's public
health insurance plan is likely to put private
insurers out of business. Also, President Obama
wants to digitalize and collect all patient health
care data, initially because such data could assist
in assessing best practices. Ah, all the easier for his
government to ration our health care according to
it's priorities! I believe this is exactly his preferred
outcome.

  1. Obama is slick alright, and a bad representative of the office of President of the United States of America...bowing to an Arab king...and, his comment about "...deep appreciation for the Islamic faith which done so much over the centuries to shape the world-including our country..." Yes, I remember the bombings of the World Trade Center, 9/11/01...Yes, the Radical Islams have certainly done a lot...
