Just 32 months later, Obama administration tells us what ObamaCare plans must have in them

Before Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius pushed back the deadline last week, governors were required to tell the feds by Nov. 16 whether they planned to build their own state-based exchanges for health care or let the federal government do it for them. They were required to submit detailed plans for building those state exchanges by the same day.
But it was not until yesterday that the federal government finally released a proposed regulation defining “essential health benefits”— a fundamental rule for planning these exchanges.

In other words, the federal government was demanding governors finish their detailed plans for implementing state-based health care exchanges four days before it even told them exactly what plans in those exchanges had to look like. http://hotair.com/archives/2012/11/21/just-32-months-later-obama-administration-tells-us-what-obamacare-plans-must-have-in-them/

We get closer to the day when Obamacare moves from threat to reality, it seems probable that the resulting catastrophe for tens of thousands of businesses, as well as the massive increase in premiums for many families, will propel Republicans to majority status in 2014.
How many businesses will be forced to close shop? How many will cut back on the number of employees to stay in business? How many will refuse to expand, unable to handle the increased costs? http://pjmedia.com/tatler/2012/11/24/how-implementing-obamacare-will-make-the-gop-a-majority-party/

U.S. Department of Interior Announces Lease for Delaware Offshore Wind
As part of the Obama Administration's strategy to expand safe and responsible domestic energy production, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) Director Tommy P. Beaudreau announced that BOEM has reached agreement on a lease for commercial wind energy development in federal waters that covers 96,430 acres, approximately 11 nautical miles off the coast of Delaware.  This is the first lease completed under Interior's "Smart from the Start" approach to facilitate environmentally responsible offshore wind development along the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf.  This approach identifies wind energy areas in a coordinated, focused approach with extensive environmental analysis, public review, and large-scale planning.  For more information, please visit: http://www.doi.gov/news/pressreleases/Interior-Announces-Commercial-Lease-for-Renewable-Energy-Offshore-Delaware.cfm.

Over the past six years, the United States has reduced its carbon emissions more than any other nation in the world.
Efforts to curb so-called man-made climate change had little or nothing to do with it. Government mandated "green" energy didn't cause the reductions. Neither did environmentalist pressure. And the U.S. did not go along with the Kyoto Protocol to radically cut CO2 emissions. Instead, the drop came about through market forces and technological advances, according to a report from the International Energy Agency. http://www.michigancapitolconfidential.com/17967

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth's atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.
The new NASA Terra satellite data are consistent with long-term NOAA and NASA data indicating atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds are not increasing in the manner predicted by alarmist computer models. http://news.yahoo.com/nasa-data-blow-gaping-hold-global-warming-alarmism-192334971.html

Against GOP objections, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced that the Obama administration is sending $147 million in funding to the West Bank and Hamas-run Gaza.

Despite a “hold by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla.,” the administration is arguing the money needs to be sent on humanitarian grounds.  They did not, however, explain how they plan to force Hamas to use the money for humanitarian purposes.  http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2012/04/13/obama-sends-147-million-to-hamas-run-gaza

Judge Grants Reprieve To Student Expelled For Refusing To Wear Tracking Device Badge

“Regimes in the past have always started with the schools, where they develop a compliant citizenry. These ‘Student Locator’ programs are ultimately aimed at getting students used to living in a total surveillance state where there will be no privacy, and wherever you go and whatever you text or email will be watched by the government,” Whitehead [President of the Rutherford Institute] warned.
The school had reportedly offered to allow Hernandez to wear a non-functional badge, giving the appearance of support for the program, but she declined. http://cnsnews.com/blog/craig-bannister/judge-grants-reprieve-student-expelled-refusing-wear-tracking-device-badge

An atheist group at Dartmouth College is planning an event aimed at skewering the reputation of the late Mother Teresa.

The Atheists Humanists Agnostics (AHA) club sent out a campus-wide e-mail announcing the program on Tuesday and promising a “full-out romp against why one of the most beloved people of the century, Mother Teresa, is as Hitchens put it… ‘a lying, thieving Albanian dwarf.’” http://www.campusreform.org/blog/?ID=4503

[On the subject of why we lost to Obama:] As Obama wooed voters with emotional focus-group tested messages, allowing them to accept the abysmal failure his presidency. Voters re-elected him because it felt good to vote for him, again. They heard the Message. Sa-weet! We can flip of the parents, smoke pot, have sex, party like a rock star or do whatever we want and Obama will make our parents pay for it. I'm voting for Obama!

How Obama’s FEMA Criminally Botched the Hurricane Recovery Effort    Obama’s win came in part because the media and a Springsteen-loving governor portrayed him as dedicated to relief for those hit by Hurricane Sandy. The reality however is that Obama made some routine photo op stops. FEMA, along with the Red Cross, failed abysmally at Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, and that story wasn’t told before the election because the people in a position to tell it had no power and the media wanted Obama to win. Afterward the story is slowly trickling out.  http://frontpagemag.com/2012/dgreenfield/how-obamas-fema-criminally-botched-the-hurricane-recovery-effort/

So, yes, Barack Obama’s victory was remarkable, but it was—as his own campaign manager himself proudly says—entirely a matter of getting the mechanical details right and building up from there. The Obama campaign spent four years figuring out how to maximize his vote (one of the advantages of incumbency; Karl Rove did the same for George W. Bush between 2001 and 2004) and a year constructing a strategy to minimize the vote of his opponent. The results were almost perfect.  http://www.commentarymagazine.com/article/the-way-forward/

One year and one month before President Obama won reelection, he invited seven of the world’s top economists to a private meeting in the Oval Office to hear their advice on what do to fix the ailing economy. “I’m not asking you to consider the political feasibility of things,” he told them in the previously unreported meeting. The meeting highlighted what today is the biggest disagreement between some of the world’s top economists and the Obama administration. The economists say the president could have significantly accelerated the slow economic recovery if he had better addressed the overhang of mortgage debt left when housing prices collapsed.  http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/economists-obama-administration-at-odds-over-role-of-mortgage-debt-in-slow-recovery/2012/11/22/dc83f25e-2e87-11e2-89d4-040c9330702a_story.html

[Because it is Obama himself who told Putin that after the election, he would have more "flexibility", and because he was going to make the world love us again, this article in Prava is relevant:]-The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake.
After Obama was elected in his first term as president the then Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin gave a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January of 2009. Ignored by the West as usual, Putin gave insightful and helpful advice to help the world economy and saying the world should avoid the Soviet mistake.
Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way.
O'bomber even keeps the war going along the Mexican border with projects like "fast and furious" and there is still no sign of ending it.  He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia.  Obama's fools and Stalin's fools share the same drink of illusion. http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/19-11-2012/122849-obama_soviet_mistake-0/

GOP warns of shutdown over filibuster

Democrats are threatening to change filibuster rules, in what will surely prompt a furious GOP revolt that could make those rare moments of bipartisan consensus even harder to come by during the next Congress.
(Also on POLITICO: Graham: I would violate Norquist's pledge)
Here’s what Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is considering: banning filibusters used to prevent debate from even starting and House-Senate conference committees from ever meeting. He also may make filibusters become actual filibusters — to force senators to carry out the nonstop, talkathon sessions.

News of the day....

Ready to fly out of Los Angeles Wednesday to get to your family before Thanksgiving? Not so fast. Los Angeles’ labor unions have decided to protest on Thanksgiving Eve – one of the busiest travel days of the year – to snarl traffic around Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). President Obama’s favorite union, the Service Employees International Union, is spearheading the obnoxious effort; it’s supposed to last from 11 a.m to 4 p.m., virtually the entire day. The LAPD says that travellers should arrive 90 minutes earlier than usual. LAX already advises people to arrive two hours in advance. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/11/20/Thanksgiving-LAX-shutdown-union

Fresh off his reelection, President Barack Obama is asking his supporters to complete a survey that asks the people being polled to check off which “constituency groups” they identify with – there are 22 groups listed but not one for “whites” or “men.”

The post-election survey, distributed through www.barackobama.com to “take this organization forward,” includes the question, “Which constituency groups do you identify yourself with? Select all that apply.” It then lists 22 groups.
Other “constituency groups” include “Educators,” “Environmentalists,” “Labor,” “Students,” “People with disabilities,” and “Youth.”
Screenshot of the "constituency groups" list in an online survey distributed by the post-election Obama-Biden campaign.
Also as an option: “People of faith,”  [I have to admit how smart this is.  He is already working on the 2016 campaign, while thru Project ORCA our biggest effort was done only on Election Day - and it totally failed....] http://cnsnews.com/news/article/obama-s-constituency-groups-checklist-offers-no-options-whites-or-men

The Department of Homeland Security is promoting welfare benefits for immigrants on its website WelcometoUSA.gov despite a law that seeks to prevent new immigrants from becoming dependent after entering the United States.
The Immigration and Nationality Act, under section 212, states, “An alien who, in the opinion of the consular officer at the time of application for a visa, or in the opinion of the Attorney General at the time of application for admission or adjustment of status, is likely at any time to become a public charge is inadmissible.” Section 212 also addresses the health status and criminal background of someone seeking legal status. http://cnsnews.com/news/article/dhs-promotes-govt-benefits-immigrants-despite-legal-prohibition-visas-likely-welfare
I can only imagine the disgust with which my immigrant ancestors would react to Obama’s “Government Benefits” brochure. Meanwhile, Senators like Jeff Sessions are trying to get information about the Obama administration’s illegal promotion of welfare benefits, but are being stonewalled–the Obama administration’s invariable response to requests for transparency. For the first time in my lifetime, we have a federal government that feels no compunction about disregarding its own laws. If we had an independent press, the Obama administration’s lawbreaking might well give rise to public indignation. http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2012/11/give-me-your-tired-your-poor-your-huddled-mas

This consolidation [of hospitals] means higher costs, the article explains. Some academic studies have confirmed that hospital consolidation means higher costs, and at least one has pinned some of the blame on Obama’s Affordable Care Act:
Looks like Obamacare is going down the same path — and undermining its stated purpose of lower costs. Of course, this never was a cost-control bill in the first place. http://washingtonexaminer.com/obamacare-helps-big-hospitals-kills-small-practices-drives-up-costs/article/2513950#.UKvN-4ZqOnE

Stating the obvious, the Post observes:
Clinton’s peacemaking trip is Obama’s clearest signal yet to Israel that it should begin to pull back its campaign against militants in the Gaza Strip. The administration knows that with Clinton on the ground trying to resolve the crisis, it will be harder for Netanyahu to make good on his threat to invade Gaza.
Obama’s real position, then, is that he will attempt to dictate the tactics and operations through which Israel exercises the right to defend itself. And Obama’s efforts to dictate constitute a constraint on Israel’s right to defend itself.
But if, due to American constraints, things go badly for Israel, Obama can always have Candy Crowley read his original expansive but meaningless statement of support. http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2012/11/that-didnt-take-long-obama-reverses-himself-on-israel.php

The Obama Administration is playing dirty.  Trying to put a price tag on access — either a news organization plays ball and accepts what they dish out without challenge, or the news organization is excluded, punished.

The Obama Administration is trying to punish Fox for trying to get the facts from the Administration (do I need to remind anyone that 4 Americans were murdered?)  The Administration in what looks like a coordinated effort is denying Fox access to information that they are handing out to other news organizations.  Why exclude Fox?  That is simple – to punish — to try to teach us a lesson not to pry,  not to look further for facts.  [Examples of such treatment are in the full article.] http://gretawire.foxnewsinsider.com/2012/11/20/time-for-obama-administration-to-grow-up-they-are-trying-to-punish-fox/

Speaking in Green Bay, Wisconsin this afternoon, President Obama reminded voters that if Mitt Romney was president, he would “rubberstamp the Tea Party’s agenda.”

Ruling out compromise by pledging to rubberstamp the Tea Party’s agenda as President — that’s definitely not change,” Obama said. “In fact, that’s exactly the attitude in Washington that needs to go.”

RNC can't make sure elections are not fraudulent; Gov't wants YOUR retirement investments; and more....

In case you missed this last week:  Voting machines suspiciously defaulting to Barack Obama? Buses loaded with strangers appearing at polling stations? Even ballots turning out 100 percent for one candidate in precinct reports?
In short, suspicions of vote fraud?

That’s too bad, because a race-based consent decree negotiated by Democrats against the Republican National Committee a generation ago still has tied the RNC’s hands, and GOP officials could be cited for contempt – or worse – if they try to make sure American elections are clean. [This should NOT prevent any other Republican entity from investigating, just the Republican National Committee.] http://www.wnd.com/2012/11/gop-legally-barred-from-fighting-vote-fraud/

Another rerun from last week: A recent hearing sponsored by the Treasury and Labor Departments marked the beginning of the Obama Administration’s effort to nationalize the nation’s pension system and to eliminate private retirement accounts including IRA’s and 401k plans, NSC is warning.  [Read this again!  The feds are salivating over the prospects of taking YOUR hard earned money which YOU did not spend, placing it instead into an account for your retirement.  Well that's just not fair!  You must now give it up to the government to run for the benefit of ALL American, if they have their way.]
A representative of the liberal Pension Rights Center, Rebecca Davis, testified that the government needs to get involved because 401k plans and IRAs are unfair to poor people.
"These people want the government to require that ultimately all Americans buy these government annuities instead of saving or investing on their own. The Government could then take these trillions of dollars and redistribute it through this new national retirement system."

Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade wondered, “Is it the fact that they’re not flexible enough where the parents are working two jobs and can’t get there on time? A Senate proposal touted as protecting Americans' e-mail privacy has been quietly rewritten, giving government agencies more surveillance power than they possess under current law.

A vote on his bill, which now authorizes warrantless access to Americans' e-mail, is scheduled for next week.

No substance, no influence. Nothing underlined this quite like the lack of crowds greeting Obama in all three nations. When a leader's visit is cause for hope and a catalyst for change — think Pope John Paul II's 1978 Poland visit — crowds turn out. Obama, supposedly representing the greatest nation on earth, couldn't draw so much as an Occupy-sized crowd. Nor did he draw respect.
On his trip to Cambodia, a country he claimed didn't deserve a visit due to its strongman government, first lady Bun Rany greeted Obama with a traditional "sampeah" pressed-hands greeting reserved for servants, a little dig that was probably lost on him but not to Asians.
So what is really Obama's tour about? Apparently a get-out-of-town photo-op all about himself as a means of avoiding pressing problems back home. The Asians deserve better — and so do the Americans.

I had written "The Anti-American President" here at American Thinker last September to dissuade conservatives of the notion Obama was having an accidental presidency -- with a failure rate chalked up to incompetence, inexperience, stupidity, and hubris. The truth is much more sinister. Obama's upbringing; his family, friends, mentors, associates; his words, actions, policies; his entire biography, all point to someone who is actively and aggressively opposed to individualism, capitalism, and liberty as a core philosophy. The Republicans should have plotted a long-term strategy beyond this election and attacked not only Obama but also Progressivism, practical or otherwise, at its roots.
By failing to expose Obama and the Progressives in general, the Republicans have left most Americans unaware that there is a war raging for the soul of the nation and left them believing it really is a choice of the lesser of two evils. http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/11/losing_the_battle_to_spin_the_war.html#ixzz2ClSHN9HJ

Obama's first term was littered with foreign policy gaffes, and there is every chance the second term will be more of the same. On his trip to Asia this week, President Obama struggled to pronounce the name of Aung San Suu Kyi, the most prominent human rights activist in the world. As The Associated Press reports (hat tip: Drudge Report).  Obama also “botched” his greeting of Burma’s new president, according to the AP.
It is rather embarrassing, as well as sad, that the leader of the free world can’t even pronounce the name of the most famous human rights activist on the planet. Or that he is so quick to appease Burma’s authoritarian regime by calling it “Myanmar”. Barack Obama’s gaffes demonstrate not only a marked lack of attention to detail and a high degree of amateurishness on the part of the White House, but also a disturbing willingness to curry favour with unsavoury regimes. Hardly a good omen for Obama’s second term. [What you cannot see here is the totally inappropriate way in which Obama greeted the high-powered women.  He clearly was trying to kiss the lips of one of them, and also had her sort of dipped over as she tried to get away from his firm embrace.  It is embarrassing if not disturbing.Friendly: Obama kisses Suu Kyi as he visited the country to encourage dramatic political reforms There was a picture of him directing himself toward her lips, before she turned her head away.
Affection: Obama kisses Aung San Suu Kyi at her residence - in another example of his hands-on diplomacy I think she is wishing he would just let her go....
Business: Obama, fourth from left, is in Cambodia for the ASEAN-U.S. leaders' meeting at the Peace Palace [As usual, Obama thinks he is one of the most interesting people in any given room, as he himself stated, and so he alone waves, just as he did at another meeting - our narcissist-in-chief.] http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/nilegardiner/100190254/barack-obama-blunders-again-on-the-world-stage/

Federal open-records laws are designed to make information available to the public now, and to posterity at the National Archives, which collects official correspondence. There are strict rules on the use of email addresses, and the rules prohibit using private emails to try to circumvent open-records laws.

It may be time to take the tax hit and withdraw funds from private retirement accounts before they are forced into long term T-bonds.

The Obama administration is reportedly quickly moving on plans to nationalize private 401k and IRA retirement accounts, and replace them with government sponsored annuities(aka Treasury bonds that the Treasury currently can’t sell to anyone but the Fed).
National Seniors Council Director Robert Crone warns: “This whole issue is moving forward very quickly.  Already there is a bill requiring all businesses to automatically enroll their employees in IRA plans in which part of every employee’s paycheck would be automatically deducted and deposited into this account. If this passes, the government will be just one step away from being able to confiscate all these retirement accounts. http://www.silverdoctors.com/obama-begins-push-to-confiscate-iras-401ks/

The Southwest Shooting Authority in Pinetop, Ariz. posted a sign on its door and took out a newspaper ad declaring that if you voted for the president last week, you’re not allowed in.

Last July, I wrote that the states still had the power to kill Obamacare, despite the Supreme Court's gross dereliction of duty in Florida v. HHS. My point was that the insurance exchanges required by PPACA are the key to its success or failure, and that the law grants the states enormous power in the way they are set up. The ostensible purpose of these exchanges is to provide “marketplaces” where people without health insurance can acquire subsidized coverage. Ironically, the law doesn’t actually require states to set up these bureaucracies. Yet, as Sally Pipes and Hal Scherz note, “only state-based exchanges … may distribute credits and subsidies.”
In other words, if the states refuse to set up exchanges, they cut off the subsidies and tax credits that are the lifeblood of Obamacare. Moreover, states that decline to set up these enabling bureaucracies will also be protecting their business communities from job-killing federal penalties -- http://spectator.org/archives/2012/11/19/the-states-fight-in-the-last-d

On Friday, the Environmental Protection Agency rejected petitions from the governors of Georgia, Texas, Arkansas, Delaware, Maryland, New Mexico, and North Carolina to suspend the biofuel-blending requirements established by the federal renewable fuel standard (RFS) program.
This year, about 4.7 billion bushels, or 40 percent of the nation’s corn crop, will be consumed by ethanol manufacturing. The governors contend that the RFS program, combined with the worst drought in 50 years, pushed corn prices to record highs, harming their states’ poultry, beef, pork, and dairy producers, who use corn as animal feed. http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/333604/epa-vs-state-economies-marlo-lewis

State Dept. Official to Attend OIC Meeting Today on Banning ‘Defamation of Islam’

After the disaster of trying to blame an obscure YouTube video for the attack on the CIA operation in Benghazi and Obama’s prophecy at the UN that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam,” Hillary Clinton’s State Department appears to be taking another run at the First Amendment free speech rights of American citizens.

FEMA Corps first-responders and armored fighting vehicles; private businesses may have to turn over employess personal info to unions; 5% Obamacare surcharge for meals; 353 coal-fired plants to close; and more

(NaturalNews) Doom, gloom and despair is growing in the Northeast in the weeks following Superstorm Sandy, as winter sets in with thousands of New Yorkers and New Jersey residents still reeling from the loss of their homes and property.

For many, the despair has grown into an intense anger, as tent cities set up by the Federal Emergency Management Agency begin to resemble prison camps. Moreover, the aftermath of Sandy is a story the mainstream media is largely ignoring, unlike Hurricane Katrina. (http://www.alternet.org)

Stressed residents who spoke to the Asbury Park Press talked bitterly about the cold, harsh conditions in tent cities with Blackhawk helicopters buzzing overhead.

On September 13, 2012, the Department of Homeland Security graduated its first class of FEMA Corps first-responders. While the idea of having a volunteer force of tens of thousands of volunteers scattered across the country to aid in times of natural disasters sounds great, the details and timing of this new government army is somewhat curious, if not disturbing.

The second problem with this announcement and program is its timing. Over the past two years, President Obama has signed a number of Executive Orders suspending all civil and Constitutional rights and turning over management of an America under Martial Law to FEMA. Also in that time, domestic federal agencies under DHS, including FEMA, have ordered billions of rounds of ammunition as well as the corresponding firearms. Admittedly, these new weapons and ammunition aren’t to be used in some far-off war or to fight forest fires in California, but right here on the streets of America.
Strange Armored Fighting Vehicles:
Individuals around the US have begun reporting the site of strange, new, heavily-armed FEMA fighting vehicles. What would a disaster relief agency like FEMA need with 2,500 brand new GLS armored fighting vehicles? According to the agency’s own mandate, as well as President Obama’s recent Executive Order, the answer is ‘population control’ during a time of Martial Law.
["We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." - Barack Obama   He planned to double the Peace Corps' budget by 2011, and expand AmeriCorps, USA Freedom Corps, VISTA, YouthBuild Program, and the Senior Corps.  Plus, he proposes to form a Classroom Corps, Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, Veterans Corps, Homeland Security Corps, Global Energy Corps, and a Green Jobs CorpsMost of this was simply campaign promises he never intended to enact.  Here a corps - there a corps - everywhere a corps corps. American asked for another term for Obama, and here he goes fulfilling part of his agenda just one week after the election.]

What is the US federal government preparing for? And why does it feel it needs an army of brainwashed youth, millions of guns, thousands of armored fighting vehicles and literally billions of rounds of ammunition, just to provide relief to the American people during a natural disaster? Any historian will tell you it sounds more like the arming of the Hitler Youth than an army of first responders fighting forest fires and hurricanes. http://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/homeland-security-graduates-first-corps-of-obamas-brown-shirts-homeland-youth/23898/

President Barack Obama’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is considering a rule that would force private businesses to turn over their workers’ personal information — such as phone numbers, email addresses, and work schedules — to union organizers.
While this rule would be intended to make it easier for union bosses to organize workers at businesses that do not have a union presence, it would also have the unintended effect of making workers vulnerable to harassment. http://www.redstate.com/2012/11/15/nlrb-chair-wants-to-force-companies-to-turn-over-employee-telephone-numbers-e-mail-addresses/

[According to Political Outcast, as most employers will cut their work staff in order to stay in business despite the addition of Obamacare taxes, one restaurant owner in West Palm Beach has decided on a different tactic.  He will add a 5% surcharge on each diner's bill, stating it is the Obamacare surcharge.  Customers will then have two choices: they can either simply pay it and tip as usual, or they will tip a smaller percentage in order to make things square.  The servers, who are the primary Obamacare recipients, will be affected by their choice.]
customers have two choices. They can either pay it and tip 15 or 20 percent, or if they really feel so inclined, they can reduce the amount of tip they give to the server, who is the primary beneficiary of Obamacare,” Metz told The Huffington Post.

In a blockbuster report, John Solomon, the former Associated Press and Post reporter, has ferreted out the president’s daily brief that informed him within 72 hours of the Sept. 11 attack that the Benghazi attack was a jihadist operation.
Citing officials directly familiar with the information, Solomon writes in the Washington Guardian that Obama and other administration officials were told that “that the attack was likely carried out by local militia and other armed extremists sympathetic to al-Qaida in the region.”
He adds:
The details from the CIA and Pentagon assessments of the killing of Ambassador Chris [Stevens] were far more specific, more detailed and more current than the unclassified talking points that UN Ambassador Susan Rice and other officials used five days after the attack to suggest to Americans that an unruly mob angry over an anti-Islamic video was to blame, officials said. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/post/breaking-the-president-knew-the-truth-about-benghazi/2012/11/16/39aecaf0-3034-11e2-9f50-0308e1e75445_blog.html

Unlike past years, when the Postal Service’s politically appointed, bipartisan board of governors awarded executives lucrative deferred compensation deals and incentive bonuses, this year’s compensation increases came mostly in the form of pension plan earnings.
