Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King said Friday that he plans to sue the
Obama administration to halt implementation of its newly announced
selective illegal immigration law enforcement policy. He told Mike
Huckabee on the former Arkansas governor’s radio program Friday that he
successfully sued his own state’s governor — and won — over a similar
separation-of-powers issue.
“I will tell you that — I’m not without experience on this — I’m
prepared to bring a suit and seek a court order to stop implementation
of this policy,” King said

A top communist defector is warning of an unprecedented “alliance”
between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party, reflected in the
CPUSA’s endorsement of Barack Obama for president in 2008 and the
party’s continued support for Democratic Party policies. But is this

Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest-ranking official ever to have defected from the former Soviet bloc, says in an

for PJMedia that any doubt that the Democratic and the Communist
parties had secretly joined forces was erased in 2009, “when Van Jones,
part of a left fringe of declared communists, became the White House’s
green jobs czar.”
Obama aide Valerie Jarrett had disclosed at a left-wing bloggers
convention that “we,” apparently referring to herself and President
Obama, had hired Jones for the job. However, Jones was fired when an
outcry developed over his communist background, and the media quickly
dropped any probes into Jones’ White House contacts.
Pacepa, who served as a top aide in the Romanian communist regime,
tells Accuracy in Media, “The Democratic Party has become dangerously
infected with the Marxism virus. I recognize the symptoms because I once
lived through them, and I believe it is my obligation as an American
citizen to help the conservative movement to prevent any further spread
of Marxism in my adopted country.”
He adds that he is personally convinced that Obama is a Marxist.

Soon after the election,

also, reported on evidence they received of “potential voter fraud,
ballot insecurity and unethical activity on behalf of the
community-organized Left in Racine, Wisconsin”. Their
evidence revealed:
- Residents were enticed to vote in exchange for a free meal;
- Video of open ballot boxes with ballots dropped on the floor;
- Reports of ballots being torn out of the ballot machines and ripped up;
- AFL-CIO vehicles displaying recall placards, with
megaphones playing a recording of Jesse Jackson telling residents of
targeted poor neighborhoods to get to the polls;
- Reports of “electioneering” inside the polling places;
- An election observer saw the same woman vote three times at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center polling place; and
- Election observers receiving threats of physical harm.

The Justice Department lawsuit against Florida will stop Florida from
removing non-citizen voters from the rolls by freezing the entire purge
process. Justice claims that immediate removal of foreigners falls
within time limits that restrict Florida’s ability to remove
legitimately registered voters.
But a citizen of Guatemala isn’t a legitimately registered voter in
Florida in the first place. They committed a crime when they registered
to vote. Florida and the Justice Department should be indicting and
prosecuting these voters who falsely registered.
But maybe they made a simple mistake when the registered to vote? Nonsense.

recognized and thwarted in time.

For the first time, the Obama administration has publicly stated
that U.S. military forces are engaged in direct action against suspected
terrorists in Yemen and Somalia.

After all, as most of us are now
aware, there has been no ‘global warming’ since 1998, which is when the
curve on the graph goes flat.
In
the eternally moving battlefield of claim and counter-claim in the
great climate change debate, even the fervently warmist Professor Phil
Jones – of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit –
concedes that there has been no ‘statistically significant warming’
since 1995.
In the simplest, human terms, therefore, no one younger than 14 years old has experienced global warming.
So why does our Government go on acting as if it’s a major problem? Why all t
hese
hugely expensive commitments to ‘decarbonisation’ and ‘renewable
energy’? Why all the eco-taxes on our holiday flights and wind-farms –
if the supposed threat they were designed to avert now turns out to be
unsupported by real-world evidence?
It is not just ‘deniers’ who are asking these questions.
Last
week, in London, the Global Warming Policy Foundation hosted a lecture
by a leading German green – former activist and Hamburg state
environment senator Prof Fritz Vahrenholt.
The evidence for man-made global warming is looking shakier by the day,
Germany’s answer to Jonathon Porritt or George Monbiot admitted. Far
more likely a culprit is the sun.

A former professor of Barack Obama has turned against his one-time student and publicly urged voters not to re-elect him.
Roberto
Unger posted a video on YouTube detailing the reasons why he believes
the President does not deserve a second term in the White House.
Mr Unger, a prominent Brazilian politician and an adviser to Obama in 2008, said: 'President Obama must be defeated in the coming election. He has failed to advance the progressive
cause in the United States.'

A prominent economist has found that expanding the social safety net,
a key factor to President Barack Obama’s economic agenda, has nearly
doubled job losses.
University of Chicago Prof. Casey Mulligan, author of the soon-to-be-released
The Redistribution Recession,
found that without the rapid increase of the social safety net during
the economic crisis, unemployment per capita would have increased by 4
percentage points, half of the 8 point jump the U.S. experienced.
“The less painful it is to be without a job, the less reasons
employees and employers have to work together to save a job,” Mulligan
said. “By making the safety net more generous, you’re going to have more
businesses close up because of higher costs, and you’re going to see
employees who will refuse to work if their wage is going to be less than
their unemployment.”
he benefits came at a price. The effective marginal tax rate for
low-income households—the rate at which each additional dollar in income
is taxed—rose from 40 percent in 2007 to 48 percent in 2009.
The increased costs to the labor market provided unemployed workers
with little incentive to get back on their feet immediately, and
deterred current employees from taking pay cuts in a down economy,
according to Mulligan.
“When the White House pitched the so-called stimulus bill, they
portrayed unemployment and food stamps as free and said they would make
the labor market better,” Mulligan said. “That is not only wrong, it is
dishonest to those in the labor market who need jobs.”
