Romney Camp Calls Santorum 'A Blank Slate'Santorum will need to explain why he set up Sonia SOTOMAYOR for a later U.S. Supreme Court appointment by OKing her for the Court of Appeals and why he "whole-heartedly supported" former U.S. Sen. Arlen SPECTER despite his position on card-check legislation.

Michelle Malkin writes: A group with the ability to shape news coverage is of incalculable value to the politicians it supports, so it’s no surprise that Media Matters has been in regular contact with political operatives in the Obama administration. According to visitor logs, on June 16, 2010, Brock and then-Media Matters president Eric Burns traveled to the White House for a meeting with Valerie Jarrett, arguably the president’s closest adviser. Recently departed Obama communications director Anita Dunn returned to the White House for the meeting as well.
Media Matters also began a weekly strategy call with the White House, which continues, joined by the liberal Center for American Progress think tank. Jen Psaki, Obama’s deputy communications director, was a frequent participant before she left for the private sector in October 2011.

Daily Caller further explains
: [Meet Media Matters, a scourge on American media]: Here’s a perfect example of how
Media Matters operates. As you read earlier today — and if you haven’t,
go read the whole thing — back in Sept. ’09 a Media Matters “senior fellow” named Karl Frisch wrote the following in an internal memo to his bosses:
“Simply put,” Frisch wrote, “the progressive movement is in need of an enemy. George W. Bush is gone. We really don’t have John McCain to kick around any more. Filling the lack of leadership on the right, Fox News has emerged as the central enemy and antagonist of the Obama administration, our Congressional majorities and the progressive movement as a whole.”
We must take Fox News head-on in a well funded, presidential-style campaign to discredit and embarrass the network, making it illegitimate in the eyes of news consumers.”
And then there was some stuff about how to implement this campaign, such as hiring private
investigators to dig into the private lives of Fox News employees and other highly ethical ideas.
[They have been found to have actually written the newscasts for MSNBC and NBC.  Such fair reporting!]

National Review writes
: [Did you know this history of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood?  It puts a whole new light on the subject.]When a bunch of wealthy white women and elite Washington bureaucrats defend the trampling of religious liberties in the name of “increased access” to “reproductive services” for “poor” women, the ghost of Margaret Sanger is cackling.
As she wrote in her autobiography, Sanger founded
Planned Parenthood in 1916
“to stop the multiplication of the unfit.” This, she boasted, would be “the most important and greatest step towards race betterment.” While she oversaw the mass murder of black babies, Sanger cynically recruited minority activists to front her death racket. She conspired with eugenics financier and businessman Clarence Gamble to “hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities” to sell their genocidal policies as community health and welfare services.
Outright murder wouldn’t sell. But wrapping it under the egalitarian cloak of “women’s health” — and adorning it with the moral authority of black churches — would. Sanger and Gamble called their deadly campaign “The Negro Project.”

Daily Caller writes: In another line of questioning, Stephanopoulos asked Romney[in the debate] if he believes “that states have the right to ban contraception, or is that trumped by a constitutional right to privacy?”
Romney responded by questioning Stephanopoulos’ logic and his choice to raise a hypothetical situation that would never happen.
“You’re asking — given the fact that there’s no state that wants to do so, and I don’t know of any candidate that wants to do so — you’re asking could it constitutionally be done?” Romney asked, with a hint of incredulity.
Stephanopoulos, undeterred, pressed Romney again: “I’m asking you, do you believe that states have that right or not?”
Amid a chorus of “boos” from the audience, Romney again parried the impossible hypothetical.
“George, I don’t know whether a state has a right to ban contraception,” Romney responded. “No state wants to. I mean, the idea of you putting forward things that states might want to do that no state wants to do, and asking me whether they could do it or not, is kind of a silly thing, I think.”
Well, it turns out not to be a silly question, as it has been positited that it was a deliberate question to aid Obama in his campaign.  You see, shortly thereafter, Obama regulated the abortion pill and contraceptive issue which is all the talk this week.  It seems that a plot has been uncovered to move the conversation away from blaming the Republicans for being against legal abortions and toward the mantra that Republicans would probably ban contraception if they receive the power to do so. More below.]

Expose Obama writes: Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell says President Barack Obama’s compromise on birth control coverage isn’t good enough,so he’ll push for a vote on legislation that would exempt any organization that has moral objections to the requirement.

News Busters writes: Former Clinton adviser Dick Morris on Monday accused ABC’s George Stephanopoulos of being a “paid Democratic hitman.”
Appearing on Fox News’s
Hannity, Morris also said Stephanopoulos was “under orders” to ask Mitt Romney all those contraception questions during ABC’s January 7 Republican presidential debate in New Hampshire
DICK MORRIS: Obama did not make a mistake in this mandate. It’s a deliberately calculated move on his part. The Democrats realize that abortion is no longer a winner for them. It used to be ten points more pro-choice than pro-Life, now it’s ten points more pro-Life than pro-choice possibly because of the publicity of the anti-abortion people, possibly because of the aging of the population. But the point is that it’s a loser issue. So what they’re trying to do now is replace it with contraception.
So the first piece of evidence was after Santorum won Iowa, the first controversy was, “Do you think states should have the right to ban contraception?” Where did that come from? Then you remember that ABC debate with that paid Democratic hitman George Stephanopoulos went after Romney trying to…
They want to create the impression that the Republicans will ban contraception, which is totally insane, but they’re floating it out and they’re bringing it out there. And this move on Obama’s part was part of injecting that issue.

Gallup released new information on Monday showing that the unemployment rate has managed to creep back up to 9.0 percent.
Gallup also shows the underemployment rate is at 19.2%. Those who are underemployed, according to Gallup, are individuals who "are employed part time, but want to work full time, or they are unemployed."

American Thinker opines: History is replete with great men like Barack Obama -- transformational leaders of wide renown, seeking to shape history in their own image, never realizing it is not great men who make history; it is history which makes great men.
Our president has never been more than an epigone of a great man.  And the cold glare of history will see Barack Obama for the man he truly is -- and it will not matter what the meaning of "is" is.
"The world will little note, nor long remember" Barack Obama, because contrary to his own opinion, he is the nation's worst president.  He is an arrogant, hyper-partisan, race-baiting, committed socialist -- a man whose deliberate attempts to transform the nation into a banana republic, with pictures of himself on the side of every building, have been thwarted only by his need to win one more election.
The world knows that Obama worships at the altar of Obama, but what I don't understand is why so many Americans and the press buy into his self-delusional perception of magnificence.  From his first day in office, he has made one bad decision after another, ham-handedly making the nation's situation worse at every turn.
Opposing a president was patriotic when it was opposition to a president opposed by liberals -- now it is simply racist.  You see, to be against a great man like our president is to be a bigot.  Barack Obama and his minions will always judge a man by the color of his skin and not by the content of his character.
Isn't it amazing how far the great Barack Obama has taken the nation in such a short time?  Does anyone believe he will be a better leader when he doesn't have to worry about our votes?
Certainly he will give us more change, but hope will have to wait until 2016. [This entire article is well worth reading!] Read more:
